The investigation of the Political Secretary Teoh Beng Hock’s highly charged news item sudden death last Thursday is reported to be 60 percent completed. The Police issued a preliminary investigations statement this afternoon.
Bernama.com has the story:
Teoh’s case 60pct complete-Police
2009-07-20 16:53SHAH ALAM:The investigation into the death of political aide, Teoh Beng Hock, 30, is 60 per cent completed, said the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.
“We are still investigating the case and God willing will complete investigations as soon as possible and then make an announcement,” he told reporters after a briefing on the investigation by senior officers at the Selangor police contingent hereMonday.
Teoh, who was the aide to Ean Yong Hian Wah, the Selangor state executive councillor for the New Village Development and Illegal Factory Task-force, was found dead on July 16 in the corridor on the fifth floor of Plaza Masalam after being questioned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
He was among winesses called to help into MACC investigations related to the misappropriation of state allocations by several assemblymen.
Meanwhile, Selangor chief police officer, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar, said police had recorded 33 statements including from 25 MACC officers.
He said police will call Yong and Kota Alam Shah assemblyman M.Manoharan to record their statements.
Khalid said Teoh was found to have contacted Yong and Manoharan before he was questioned and according to him police would also record conversations with his family at an appropriate time.
Police also want to record conversations with Kajang municipal council member Tan Boon Wah as he had made a police report against the MACC last Saturday but refused to give a statement, he said.
Khalid said: “I advise him to present himself to the police station to give a statement on the report he made, if not, we will have to issue a notice under Section 11 of the Penal Code to order him to give a statement at the station.
He said if Tan continued to refuse to give a statement on the police report, police would take further action on him for making a false report.
Besides that, he said police would also call two people who were with Tan and Teoh who were questioned by the MACC on the same day.
Asked about the things taken from the Selangor MACC office yesterday, Khalid his people revisited the scene and gathered what had been left on the first day of the incident.
Yesterday evening, police took documents and a window latch fromm the 14th floor for investigation into Teoh’s death which is still classified as sudden death.
Asked about the approximate time of Teoh’s death, Khalid said: “If we follow the initial report of the doctor about four to five hours before the body was
found. He said closed-circuit camera recording showed Teoh entered the building on the evening of July 15 and there was no recording of him leaving.
Answering a question on the possibility that Teoh fell from the 14th floor, Khalid said: “Highly possible.”
He said Teoh’s handphone was with the police since last Thursday and that it was obtained from a MACC investigation officer and did not dismiss the possibility that the phone could unravel what happened.
Asked if Teoh’s death may be linked to secret society activites, he said police were investigating from various aspects. (Bernama)

However, the much talked about investigations seems to hit another snag. The last person to see DAP man Teoh Beng Hock was said to be refusing to give statement to the Police. Pakatan Rakyat appointed Kajang Municipal Councillor Tan Boon Wah was the last person known to see Teoh alive, as at 600am on Thursday, is believed not co-operating with the Police. If this was true, it is not known why Tan is refusing to give a statement.
Usually, the last person with the deceased while he or she is still alive in any murder case would be a suspect. Since the sudden death of Teoh has not been classified as murder, then Tan is not a suspect. Tan was also called in by the Selangor MACC last Thursday to assist in the ongoing investigations of Pakatan Rakyat’s elected representatives misappropriation of Selangor State funds.
Is there anything that Tan want to hide, that he risked to be charged for obstruction of justice for refusal to give a statement in an on going Police investigations?
The plot thickens. Hence, the investgations is being continued.

Barisan Nasional must be made to pay for their shameless and diabolic behaviour. They and only they are responsible for the death of the young Teoh Beng Hock.
Why is MACC only investigating non-BN politicians who legitimately took political control of the state government from BN?
Why is MACC not investigating any of the BN politicians against whom reports have been lodged?
It seems obvious that the MACC and police are all lackeys and running dogs of the BN government, jumping to at their every beck and call.
They have no self respect, no sense of right or wrong and I am ashamed and disgusted to be called Malaysian.
The blame lies on all of us for voting the BN, for not being able to form a cohesive and united group to wrest power from the egotistic BN mob.
Despite what they have been saying about the British, they left us a good legacy, with decent laws and a democratic system.
The BN slowly but surely whittled away at the foundations of our nation and brought us down to this lowest of low point in Malaysia history.
It is time for the opposition to unite under a single banner without reference to race or religion and take on the multi faceted and splintered BN.
Anwar, Zaid, Karpal, Lim and the rest, this is a wake up call.
Think like you are the next government. Be prepared with a list of pledges that you will introduce if you get the opportunity to form the next government.
Put the country and its people first and let your personal party politics take a back seat for a change.
What is this fellow saying? “They and only they are responsible for the death of the young Teoh Beng Hock.” Where is the connection?
Nobody has mentioned any BN man or woman involved so far. They mentioned PKR man alleging DAP man of underworld links. Did I miss something about BN involvement?
I’m not a member of any party. But that kind of blanket statement is ridiculous, even irresponsible. No justification, no substantiation.
Then he said, “Why is MACC not investigating any of the BN politicians against whom reports have been lodged?” What reports? Are they connected with this case? Big Guy is talking about the death of Teoh and the PKR Assemblyman’s allegation of the DAP Assemblyman’s links with the underworld here.
So don’t be a Malaysian, the door is always open. So why wait BERAMBUS LAH!!! We don’t need people like you. Go back to your homeland either China, India of other.
Apply other citizenship, I’m glad to to hear that.
another stupid , irresponsible and trying to make malaysia de-stabilize comment. what kind of person is this ruyom? mentally retarded or victim of child abuse? hopefully not a victim of sodomy.

Malaysia is no more Tanah Melayu. Is a Tanah Malaysia. Even some Malay agree and no more blindly support the NEP which benefited only a small number elite UMNOputra.
What a coward way to say that the Malays have benefited from the NEP. Instead of saying Malay, they say UMNOputra. True enough some elite has established themselves through NEP. BUt A LOT of other MALAYS have benefited from it too, and as we can see.. producing a generation of so called liberal Malay nowadays. A generation, which produce enough liberal Malays to go and rebel back against the government and worse, they are ashamed to admit they are actually the product of NEP.
I strongly believe that this sad incident has been orchestrated very well.
Within few hours accusations are being strewn around potraying MACC, Najib, BN are the biggest culprit.
This is nothing more that a covert operation headed by AI and his comrades with the assistance of the underworld.
Where is this nation headed? We are facing more serious problems like the shrinking economy and here we are accomodating someone to become the Prime Minister. Pooodahhh
Who biggot hipocrite now !!! Even this DAP trying to avoid police . Or trying to hide something …
I hope ‘monkeys’ who going Kelana Jaya Stadium befored better ask this Tan to give a statement than going with wild and emotion accusation .
Indeed the plot thickens.
The deceased’s hand phone was reported to be found in the care of a… surprise… MACC officer. And they claimed they released him around 4am…
He did not appear on the close-circuit camera going out. And now the MACC has decided to close their internal probe.
Masih berfikir…
Kenapa perlu saya perlu bunuh orang yg saya soal siasat, sedangkan dia bakal menjadi saksi tertuduh dan bukannya tertuduh. Kalau tiada saksi? Bagaimana dengan tertuduh?
Muskil kan??…
Tepat .
I’ll summarize this as simple and short as possible.
1) Went into a particular consulting firm
2) There were conversations with KJ. It was harmless on facebook, although his ego got burned on FB, and another intern at the consulting firm was informing him that I was talking about the ‘coincidences’. The coincidences involved the Permatang Pauh by-elections to the unconvincing ‘manufactured’ photos of PKR’s security guys harassing what looked like a Chinese woman.
He clarified to the intern on how the ‘coincidences’ was nothing, but I guess it wasn’t convincing. Given those incidents occured around that time, the time it took place correlates well with the facebook messages, and I openly showed it to the other interns.
This was at the beginning of the Permatang Pauh by-election. Nothing outrageous or sinister.
The day after I told him “PKR security guys are violent”, many news reports on them harassing random people cropped up in the MSM hours later. Ezam was suppose to go against Anwar in that by-election, and it would be embarrassing for him back out from his pledge at that time. I said something in the lines of ‘the PP grassroots will be unhappy if a foreign face like Ezam is brought in’, and that appeared in the MSM the next day. I think you have been given those messages.
3) I was asked by the intern, how would BN win the by-elections, I directly said KJ would probably just change the ballot boxes. I assumed it was something completely normal for him-given the rumours and speculation after the Rembau elections.
KJ usually never replies to my horribly-written messages, he oddly replied after that, something in the lines of ‘BN never rigs elections’. What he didn’t realize, that message was directed to him, not BN as a whole.
There was a huge ego clash on FB, I thought that was it-but it wasn’t over.
4) I had no intention at all to be in politics, all those messages were just in jest. It was extremely fun influencing news in the major MSMs.
Part of the FB conversation, he said “You really rate yourself, mate”. So I just went ahead to proved otherwise, calling his brand of politics ‘tame and lame’.
Given the public narration of what KJ was doing, whatever I wrote to him was very much tamer than what was going on. The demolition of Hindu shrines all over Malaysia and the timing of it was in intentionally staged to defame Barisan Nasional prior to the previous elections. Barisan Nasional campaigned in the last elections as though they intentionally wanted to lose. Many of these ’sabotage’ acts can be attributed to KJ, mainly but not solely due to his position as the ‘de facto’ PM and given the conversation I had with certain foreign agents for the past month, it seems very much clearer.
There were rumours last year KJ was behind Hindraf.
Academically, other than the Malays, a huge section of the Indian community was also impoverished in Malaysia. The Hindu Temple demolition was used to provoke the Hindu community, so that the MIC can be killed off and Hindraf will be the main Indian political party around, and Pakatan can capitalize on the Indian votes. This whole fiasco was planned to bring down UMNO-the only explanation given was Hindraf will apparently increase the number of Malay votes-lies. You don’t go against places of worship for political gains.
The Lina Joy case and countless body-snatching cases was brought forward and over-reported in the new and old media to defame Islam and indirectly UMNO by certain mischievous individuals in the previous administration.
You can look through the newspapers during Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s tenure and see countless racially charged news reports which are indirectly seditious and aimed to fulfill a certain political agenda. I’m aware of all these incidents because I am out of the racial and religious pool in Malaysia, and I view every incident and character objectively.
I can write continuously on how direct and indirect techniques were used to create an ‘anarchic’ situation in Malaysia, but I guess a few facebook messages were way more seditious than the above events. My justification for those messages is that it was much tamer than what was going on, and it was an indirect attempt to show that idiot there were easier ways to play politics than messing around with religion. The image of BN internationally was no different than the Talibans. It’s funny how Khairy is crying wolf right now.
Other than that, I’ve spoken about the over-reporting of crime. The Ahmad Said incident was also another project to further defame UMNO and BN. If BN cared about their reputation, and if those behind the media are responsible, they would have killed that story, but instead they turned it into ‘The Story of the Month’. BN wants to change, they don’t know what’s going on.
5) Ethos is an ‘Ali Baba’ firm, and the consultants there are trained to bow to the dictator named OMO. All the slides made there is for a political agenda. I’ve made slides and been asked to modify data to suit certain needs, not limited to excluding certain data and accounting ratios when they were preparing a proposal to the UEM, and modifying graphs to ensure events look like what they ‘should’ seem.
During the launch of the Iskandar Project, the NST front page had flying carpets announcing billions of dollars were flying in from the Middle East. I was asked to make a timeline of projects that were launched in Iskandar for a certain proposal, and there wasn’t any concrete data backing up news reports on those ‘billions’ coming in from the Middle East.
If the above is not enough for me to be skeptical on all news reports and slides, then read below;
Given the ego-clash that occurred between me and Khairy, and Khairy was extremely determined to prove to everyone there I’m just blowing hot air, there were other events planned to ‘make everything seem like a lie’.
If you have access to the NST prior to the Permatang Pauh by-elections, you can see the spin-masters there was on an overdrive hinting and proclaiming BN’s victory for the Permatang Pauh by-election.
I exposed their intentions in Ethos after those victory-proclamations. I don’t know what exactly was the reason for them to back out from PP, but they were definitely not prepared to win the public-perception battle to trash Anwar in PP. One of the reasons was the small number of BN-supporters in Permatang Pauh.
I was asked by the intern (Khairy’s lackey) which news sites do I read. I told him the NST, Malaysia Today, Malaysiakini, and a few others. They had control of all these sites, and while I was sending ‘ideas’ to KJ on fb, they used these sites news reports to made it seem like my ideas was being implemented. I enjoyed reading everything I say getting directly and indirectly implemented in the real world, hence I went on an overdrive sending absurd ideas to KJ. It was in my mind KJ all that crazy stuff is perfectly sane for KJ given what was happening in the previous year.
On the week before the PP results came out, something weird was happening in Ethos. My laptop was being tapped, and it was continuously ‘calling back’ to a certain place. I do not care about anti-viruses and those stuff, I tend to monitor Trojans and viruses via the data flow on my laptop. At that time, every kilobyte downloaded on my laptop was automatically and continuously uploaded to ‘somewhere’, and despite how many times I reformatted my laptop, it kept occurring. Any normal virus will disappear after one reformat.
Everyone in Ethos was directly asking ‘where do you live around here’. I suspected something amiss, and honestly, Ethos has been in controversies before and it is not a random firm. Honestly, I found the ‘concrete drop’ incident a few years ago extremely suspicious.
Omar was acting suspicious. His body language suggested something was not right.
On the Friday prior to the Permatang Pauh results, my pda went missing. I was a routine for me to leave my phone on my table, and I went out for a few hours that day, and found my phone missing. My mom got a suspicious message ‘What’s up’ after my phone went missing-suggesting the individual who was in possession of my phone was up to something not good.
I went home that night, and decided to resign from Ethos before anything untoward occurs. I sent a short email to Omar. I thought of meeting Omar while handing in my resignation on the next Monday, but I decided not to. Each time I spoke to Omar, I will end up with a horrible headache. He plays a lot of mind games while talking to anyone, he mentally drains someone by going into deep discussions and then continuously change topic. After playing around for like 15-20 minutes, he then emotionally manipulates the person, because when you have been mentally drained, you can’t think much, and naturally you will agree with anything because you don’t have the mental capacity to argue anymore. I’m sure there is a scientific explanation on the techniques he was using-I’ve heard of it before.
On the week after I left, after going through all the incidents- I assumed since I’m still alive, they might have played games-but it was probably harmless. I sent a sarcastic goodbye message to Khairy, as usual. Part of that message was my realization that the other intern was actually a pawn of Khairy’s, and that specific intern was continuously asking me “What would you say if Khairy offers you a job”. My reply in the firm, unknowing that it was from Khairy, was brutal and honest- I said ‘he can’t afford me’ and a few other sarcastic remarks. That specific intern was getting suspicious calls all the time and he has admitted before he’s within Khairy’s close circle. That intern asked me so many questions a few days before I left-which seemed more like an interview.
I also told Khairy how he was controlling MT, Mkini, etc. This was probably the line that shook them. It was the Singaporean operation behind everything, at that time- I thought Khairy had a thinktank in a secluded place which plans all the antics that goes around the country.
I then got a call asking me to come into Ethos immediately. Initially they used the excuse of my unpaid allowance, I told them I’ll come in soon when I’m free. A few minutes later, I got a call saying if I don’t come in within the end of the day, they will make a police report on my name for the MAHB card that I haven’t returned. At that point, I panicked. I called them again, saying I can hand in the MAHB card immediately to the security dept at the building. They said no, I had to come in-which suggested something was not right. The check and the MAHB card was obviously an excuse to force me into the firm.
I went frantic. I called everyone I know to inform them something might happen soon. I didn’t know what else to do- I sent a message to Khairy telling him I’ll take anything offered as long as I’m not harmed, and I gave him a few more incentives not to harm me.
I walked into Ethos, and Omar pretended like nothing was going on and he said ‘I called you in to give you your check’. He had a dirty smile on his face which then partially reflected he knows something is going on. The conversation went on, and he talked about ‘how I should listen more to others’, etc partially hinting something. At that kind of stressed situation- hints don’t really work. He then asked me why did I leave, and since he badly wanted to know, I was honest with him. He didn’t like the honesty. He asked so many random questions and digressed a lot, and as usual played lots of mind games, and at the end-he played an extremely sophisticated mental trick-where I mentally felt of saying I’m staying at Ethos, while I instinctually knew I should walk out. I walked, after returning the MAHB Visitor pass.
I later continuously got emails from interns in Ethos trying to ‘explain’ these incidents. Omar’s was behind them, and it was a face saving attempt because everyone in Ethos has already started to suspect something is not right.
I sent an angry message to Khairy asking him to get lost from my life. It wasn’t a nice message-reflecting the conditions.
After I walked, the harassment started. I was staying at the HELP Apartments next to Pusat Bandar Damansara and I was woken up in the morning by the Warden pretending to be checking on the cleanliness of the room. He was with a random guy who wasn’t part of their staff. While I was around Pusat Bandar Damansara, a few guys were standing behind me wherever I went, just standing there. I was using the public phone at that time, and there will be a guy continuously standing behind me. They wanted to instill fear, so that I never dare to talk again. The fact that a guy was standing behind me meant that he they could do anything to me-that was the message they wanted to send.
For the MAHB visitor card, I left my LSE Library card as collateral at the Malaysian Airports Office. I returned to card to Ethos, without getting back my LSE card- I assumed it was safe in Ethos. A few days later, I got a Courtesy Notice email from the LSE saying that I have an unreturned book. I have never borrowed a book from the LSE library, and there is no way someone could have taken out a book under my name without my LSE card and PIN number which is obtained from my online LSE account. Books in the LSE Library have an extremely short borrowing time- and I got the courtesy notice from the LSE a a week after I left Ethos. They wanted to financially drain me with the late-library book fee for months which is enormous at the LSE library. I contacted the LSE, and said the book was illegally taken out- they couldn’t do much other than do a search in the Library, so I had to just declare it missing.
After these incidents, I moved out of KL- I didn’t dare to stay at home because I knew they might harass me- so I moved to my cousin’s house in JB for a week.
I didn’t know at that time why they don’t come after me when I’m not in KL. They were listening to all phone conversations at that time.
I sent in lots of message to apologize, but they kept coming back.
This is just a summary, and this was just the beginning.
as much as i want to believe your story, i think you really have to be the son of PM to get KJ attention in FB.
He gets hate-mail daily. There’s a facebook group dedicated to KJ-haters, and the membership is enormous. The only difference was he replied to my hate-mail ‘get to know me before judging’.
delete the message above, please.
and also… want part 2?
Needless to say, Tan displays typical traits of person with guilt and damaging information besides being a chauvinist pig. Perhaps he thinks he can act like the “drama king” after the DAP having stroked the sentiments of public opinion. I bet he must be shitting in his pants, just like his superiors because he knows any linkage with the Underworld (being the talk of the town) will turn out to be like the DAP’s Watergate Scandal; its more than just the “black” treasury of the DAP. If indeed Tan and those concerned in the Pakatan Government are involved with such links, they must be brought to justice and be held accountable for polluting Selangor with vice. PAS surely is aware of and are concern for the future of young innocent Muslim kids which form a substantial portion of the relevant communities. But is PAS hands really tied or it is of their own making; unity government could be the way out for PAS for the sake of the UMMAH.
I fear for the future of my kids and the authorities must act fast to put an end to this hideous masquerade. How beautiful and seductive was the hypocrisy of LKS when he demanded the resignation of the IGP giving reasons crime rates has gone up in the country; I have only 4 letter words for this old fart of the DAP who wants to cover up the shit with his son as secretary general. It would be most interesting in the coming hours and days
I support what you say.
The link of Teoh’s death with the underworld must be established in order to get closure to the incidence. The fellow who made a Police report but refused to give a statement must also be investigated fully and his links with the underworld be spellt out. One way or the other.
If there are no links with the underworld and evidence shows that nobody uses the State Government office premises for that purpose, then the PKR Assemblyman must be brought to book for causing alarm and despondency in the minds of the public. However, one is not inclined to think that a “Yang Berhormat” would want to blow the whistle against a fellow “Yang Berhormat” on a matter concerning the underworld if there is absolutely no truth in the matter.
One pities the millionaire Menteri Besar for the big headaches he must be facing about the allegation of underworld links in his government and the earlier call for him to reshuffle his ailing government.
There’s nothing in my phone. I told them there’s something in it as a trick to force them to run around-they tend to dig everything about me, I was sending false signals….
Malaysia Today’s headline right now “Teoh’s handphone with MACC officer, died bet 8.30-9.30am ”
They are still thinking there’s something in my phone which they can’t figure out. They’re scared I’ll talk more.
Tell them to return my phone after an investigation. There’s nothing in it. I’d love to get my phone back-sentimental value.
Our theory here in BigDogDotCom:
Teh Beng Hock committed suicide. Was he induced, probably. Why? Pressure from some people who has been implicated in the detailed statements hv gave, VOLUNTARILY to MACC.
He was called in to give statement on DAP alleging Pemuda UMNO use force against DAP Karpal Singh. But Teoh, who recorded the event and upload it on Youtube is the key witness to support Pemuda UMNO’s case.
Then he was transfered to a Selangor Exco. Suddenly he discovers so many skeletons in the closet. He cant take it any more and want too spill the beans. And he did. MACC recorded his statements.
Then he realised that he will enfuriate so many Lords of the Underworld, which include their ‘roving ambassador’ Ronnie Liu.
Phone calls were made. Threats were made. Teoh cannot take it any more. He jumps.
Interesting theory, Big Guy.
But some one said there were window parts (latch?) found near the body. If this info is reliable, looks like he was pushed.
The banging on MACC door in Shah Alam by one fellow, on the hospital mortuary door in Klang by Ronnie are gangster-like actions. These lend some credibility to the other theory – murder.
Whatever it was, the underworld links must be fully investigated. It was alleged by no less than a PKR “Yang Berhormat” against a fellow “Yang Berhormat” of the same camp.

“He was called in to give statement on DAP alleging Pemuda UMNO use force against DAP Karpal Singh. But Teoh, who recorded the event and upload it on Youtube is the key witness to support Pemuda UMNO’s case.”
There was a huge problem of mis-communication that occurred, it all seemed coming from the same direction- the media reports, and later the threats and indirect humiliation.
Yes, it wasn’t him… I thought it was him, it was my mistake. I did apologize.. I think… So here’s a public apology – I’m sorry. The narration might point to him, but that’s not the whole story. There’s another year left out. I would like to repeat, it wasn’t him.
As for the “skeletons in the closet”- I never planned to be a politician, and despite how much dirt they have on anyone- if the underworld wants to get you, they can. It’s on how you respond.

As for Teoh’s case, your analysis was spot on.
Idealism can only go so far, or as it was in this case ‘juvenile idealism’.
It’s time for a stand to be made, and a side to be chosen- professionalism and decorum should be adhered.
As for the specifics, if the MACC chooses to continue with the investigations, all corporation will be given. If the MACC thinks the case should be dropped, then so be it.
DB accepts the offer.
“DB accepts the offer.”
I pull back this offer. They have enormous resources-and I’m getting the usual gut feeling which says something bad is gonna happen.
Thank you for your time, and good luck.
