A Police report against a flyer produced by Economic Adviser to DAP Secretary General Tony Pua this evening. The Damansara Utama DAP candidate aspirant was alleged to have produced a flyer deemed laced with malicious intent against how the Government handled religious issues involving non-Muslims.
The Police report was made by Petaling Jaya Utara UMNO Youth Head Mohamad Azli Mohemed Saad at the Damansara Utama Police station at 10.45 pm. Several Petaling Jaya Utara UMNO Youth members accompanied Azli, at the eve of the Chinese New Year.
Azli wanted to Police to investigate items mentioned in the flyer, he vehemently thought was an effort to incite and instigate the emotions of the non Muslims in Petaling Jaya. Apparently, the flyer was only hand-delivered and found placed in the post box of non Muslim homes around Damansara Utama.
It is clear the flyers, which was printed in English and Mandarin, were designed to remind the non Muslims in Petaling Jaya Utara on how cases such as Lina Joy, Subashini, Kaliammal, Revathi and others were handled and decided and the emotions of the non Muslims are being pitted, stirred and gambled. All of these, are extracted and conveniently reproduced in such away, at the point where the XII General Elections have been rumoured to be very near.
Oxford educated cyber technoprenuer Tony Pua made his fortune listing his dotcom company Cyber Village on the Singapore Stock Exchange, announced his entry into DAP almost a year ago. He has been strongly rumoured running against Petaling Jaya Utara MP, Dato’ Paduka Chew Mei Fun, who is also the Parliamentary Secretary of Women, Family and Community Development. Despite of the “Whizz kid” cliche’ that the 36 year old has been tagged with, Ernest & Young published an audit report that SESDAQ listed company Cyber Village, which he cashed-out from and made a fortune, maybe running into difficulties. Thus this undermines his position as DAP leader-in-waiting Lim Guan Eng’s Economic Adviser.
