Who and why would anyone wants to put Anwar’s life in ‘grave danger’, at this point of time?

So it was true PKR Adviser and convicted Former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim sought sanctuary in the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. The excuse was, “Under assassination threat”.

NST has the story:

Anwar holes up in Turkish Embassy following ‘death’ threats

By : Mazlinda Mahmood

Parti Keadilan Rakyat de-facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has holed himself inside the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur following alleged death threats made against him after a former aide lodged a police report accusing Anwar of sodomy.

“I have been instructed to formally inform (the media) that Anwar is now at the Turkish Embassy where he will remain until a time which will be determined later, based on our discussion with embassy officials,” said PKR vice-president Azmin Ali. “He is in a safe place and is healthy and well.

Azmin said only Anwar’s wife, Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, his children and immediate family members, are allowed to visit him at the embassy. Admission into the embassy will be barred to outsiders without official business.

At 6.05pm, Anwar confirmed his location in a statement posted on his blog. “I am issuing this statement from within the embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Kuala Lumpur. I was transported to the embassy earlier this morning fearing that my personal safety was in danger. I thank all those who offered to assist me in this time of need and am grateful to the Turkish Ambassador for extending an invitation to seek refuge within the Embassy,” Anwar said in his statement.

Anwar claimed that since the March 8 elections, numerous credible sources from within the government and military intelligence had advised him that certain agents from within Barisan Nasional leadership have initiated plots to cause harm to him or his family or his supporters.

“I have been told that my assassination has not been ruled out as means to subvert the people’s will and bring an end to the transformational changes taking place in Malaysia.

“Notwithstanding the threats which are intended to silence my voice, I intend make public new evidence implicating that the Inspector General of the Police Musa Hassan and the Attorney General Gani Patail engaged in criminal acts of fabricating evidence in cases launched against me in 1998,” Anwar alleged.

Azmin claimed the decision to move Anwar to a protective place was made by the political bureau and supreme council in a meeting which ended at 5am today.

Anwar reportedly received a ‘real’ death threat from an unidentified person and was covertly moved from the Quality Hotel here in an unmarked car to the embassy after the dawn prayers, eluding the media and plainclothes policemen camping at the lobby.

Anwar was at the hotel with other senior PKR officials for a two-day party retreat to discuss future programmes.

Asked why the Turkish Embassy was chosen, Azmin said calls were made to several embassies late last night and the Turks were the first to respond positively to ensure Anwar’s safety.

“In this pressing situation, we immediately made the necessary arrangements,” he said. “During our discussion late last night, several communications took place between the party and several embassies.”

On whether Anwar is seeking asylum from the Turkish government, Azmin dismissed the idea, saying that in the near future and for his safety, PKR felt that their leader needed to be at a safe place. “That was the decision of the party leadership and he agreed to it,” he said.

Asked to comment on Azizah’s statement on Anwar reportedly attending a meeting on Thursday, the day he allegedly sodomised his special officer, Azmin said he would not disclose the details of Anwar’s alibis.

“A statement has been issued from him personally,” he said. “The president and deputy president have also given the party’s official statement and I would not go beyond that.”

Funny thing is, who and why would anyone want to physical hurt or threaten Anwar up to endangering his life, that he actually need to seek sanctuary in a foreign diplomatic mission in this country?

What did he actually do and why at this point of time?

Politically, yes, he is growing stronger. But this is not this week’s news. He had the ‘Black 14’ rally in Kampung Baru in mid April and other more rallies all over the country and he was fine, trumpeting his arrogance then. He made one announcement after another about how and when the Pakatan Rakyat ‘unholy’ coalition he managed to set up will seize power from Barisan Nasional, include the ‘fluid’ execution dates promises. That also includes the one in Ulu Kelang few weeks back,  immediately after Government had the hefty petrol price increase, where thousands of people came to hear his rhetorics and out of this world promises, like always.

Anwar was so confident of himself that he actually took up the challenge to have the public debate, organize by an online paper with a Cabinet Minister.

So why suddenly, when young Saiful Bahri Azlan decided to make a Police report after alleging being sodomized by Anwar for the eighth time and “Anwar starting to get more “demanding”, after announcing his engagement” (just like what happened to UKM lecturer Hairani Mohd. Nafiz), now Anwar’s life is under grave threat that tantamount to ‘assassination’?

(Lets get this right: “Anwar sodomise a young man, so the ‘Government’ tried to assassinate Anwar for this????”. I have gone through so many fictional political thriller works and I must confess, this the most ridiculous of them all!)

Wouldn’t the ‘boy who cry wolf’ aka Saiful Bahri, be the one who should be under grave threat, especially by the mob-mentality rabid Anwar supporters?

Again, Wan Azizah and Azmin is quick with the “Police and Judiciary cannot be trusted” excuse (conveniently, these are the people who rallied on ‘Judicial Reforms’ since last September with the revelation of the V K Lingam tapes). So by wrongfully accusing Anwar with preposterous sexual criminal charges, the BN Government could even demise faster. So, again, how would it benefit the Government if Anwar were to be assassinated, at this point of time?

How can this episode this time, not be another crappy Anwar Ibrahim sordid sandiwara, all over again?

  1. Hahahaha… Again? Old habits die hard I guess…

  2. i dont see anything funny

  3. He just love “holes” all kind of holes. Fallen into a trap is not naive or innocent reason not to be charged and given verdict in court of law. (Remember A.YAM story?)

  4. All those who indulge in sodomy are sick people, condemned by Islam but readily accepted by the western educated especially USA as merely a social ill as well as in the name of international human rights and western democracy.

DSAI is indeed very sick, reckless and irresponsible and is again looking to the West to pull him out of his bad habits. He’s trying to manipulate the situation to get the best international media exposure; your perspective of his manipulation of the situation is therefore most correct.

The Sodomy Part 2 has started to have a good initial coverage in Utusan Malaysia and Star; don’t know about NST and Berita Harian as I have long stopped buying because of their unnecessary coverage on SIL.

Hopefully there be more intensive local media coverage including details of all of DSAI past misdeeds as former DPM and Sodomy Part 1. I tend to forget all the specific insights of those stories up to his conviction in sodomy and therefore need to be constantly refreshed; I do know how people can be cheated by such a repulsive character who insists he should be the future leader of this country!

  6. BD,

he’s the glue that’s holding the opposition together, that’s clear for all to see. he has been a pest that would not go away. and the last GE showed the people, quite a number at least, is buying what he’s selling, despite it sounding no different than what AAB said in 2004, clean up, unite people, better lifestyle, yada, yada, yada. most importantly lowering fuel price, which of course the present government couldn’t counter offer the people, no matter how logical or beneficial to the country the fuel hike is. people don’t care.

because he’s been too arrogant like you put it, flaunting openly what he intends to do and the course appears to be smooth sailing so far. but he did get a black eye last time, so that’s a good excuse against the police.

but of course everyone has their biased view, depending on which side you’re on, it’s only normal. i can’t be bothered to take sides anymore, no one good news has come up post 3/8.

judge not ye lest ye be judged, and i’m not even a christian.

  7. So many things dun quite add up. Anwar generally has the support of the public in terms of the perception that he was grossly mis-prosecuted in 98..which strategists would be so foolish to not only employ this flimsy old tricks..but to risk vindicating Anwar should this matter go to court again. This just reeks of fish.

  8. Aiyah!

He aledi said by Sept 16 mah?

This is another card he is throwing loh. Simple mah – now the Gov will be the bad person. He looks good.

  9. This is escapism!! Anwar is trying to avoid being questioned/arrested by police , that’s why he chose to hole-up in a foreign mission, where Malaysian law could not be exercised! He is trying to seek political assylum, for what reason? alleged threat on his life is not a criteria. Who threatened him ? It is actually a make belief story by him to avoid being arrested by the police. He can’t fool everybody, ini style lama dia. To Azizah, don’t tell me you do not know your husband. Enough is enough, Anwar should not play with the sentiment of malaysians, we know who you are! How long you want to escape the wreath of the law, sooner or later you have to answer it in court. My primary concern is for the safety of the complainant. PDRM should ensure his security, otherwise you all fail to uphold the justice!!!

  10. Kita biar polis siasat. Jangan pikir yang bukan bukan oke? Sekian, dan hmmm.. Mak Oi! Amboi! Dah pukul 130 tengahari dah ni!?? Nak tidur lah ni..ngantuk sungguh dengar and baca..goodnight malaysia!!

    Syabas buat pengadu berani

    Kepada si anwar tabur bakti
    Bantu PKR meraih pengundi

    Sebaik selepas aduan dibuat
    Penyokong PKR rasa digugat
    Si anwar dinafikan buat liwat
    Belumpun polis selesai siasat

    Ugutan bunuh konon dakwaan
    Didakwa seminggu sedemikian
    Adakah pada polis buat laporan
    Dakwaan isteri ada kesangsian

    Masih ingatkah lagi cerita reka
    Ketika si anwar banduan penjara
    Cat baru bilik dikata merbahaya
Si anwar diracun cara bunuh dia

    Buat alasan ancam nyawa hadapi
    Berlindung dia di kedutaan Turki
    Digambarkan polis kita konspirasi
    Helah bela diri, dia memanipulasi

    Bersaksikan ke lutut umpamakan

“Beri ruang polis siasat – Kes liwat: Usah buat andaian, jangan bagi tekanan – Mohd. Bakri”

Pengarah Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Bukit Aman, Datuk Mohd.

Ketua Polis Daerah Cheras, Asisten Komisioner Amir Mohd.

Anwar menjalani hukuman penjara enam tahun selepas disabitkan kesalahan kerana rasuah.

Wakil rakyat kita makan gaji buta!!

Tidak sedar diri dan memalukan negara. Malaysia would be better wihout all of you.

  13. Anwar ini cakap tak serupa bikin, when push comes to shove dia cabut lari with a ridiculous excuse that his life is in danger, betul lah saudara Big D cakap in danger of what and from whom. Typical Anwar Ibrahim who will let others do the dirty work to defend him.

Has one of those Anwaristas stop and think about the guy who made the police report about being sodomised. You think so easy ah to make this kind of police report? This guy is basically opening up his privates literally to be examined and photographed by the forensics expert and be subjected to many more humiliating inspections to determine the veracity of his report. And please do not talk about moneylah, no amount of money can compensate for this humiliationlah.

All PKR big wig could think is this guy is a BN mole because he was photographed in the Government ministeries hiding the fact that that this guy was involved in his university student body, and of course student bodies do visit government ministeries what. I agree with dahanistimewa that if anybody who is in need of protection it must be this guy who made the police report.

Anwar should stop pussy footing and try to drag this nation into this alleged crime and internationalise this thing by HIDING in the Turkish embassy. The Turkish government has no business trying to protect anwar as this is a criminal case and NOT a political case.If Anwar thinks he is the PM in waiting and he did not do anything wrong he should have the balls to come out in the open and meet the public and not get his wife to stand in for him in a press conference. The nice doctor has suffered enough already, give her a break lah Anwar.

Saudara Big D, its also interesting what Anwar’s former best friend Mat Ezam, who was recently allowed in to UMNO, has to say about this. His silence is deafening.

In the month named of a Roman King
The year of great games played by Greeks
Malaysie, a land where politikus battle
“Wag the Dog” the game is played

    A man defamed twice over
    Seeking restitution with Ottoman Kings
A plot being hatched as night awaits
Watch in trepidation by the man defamed

People in Malaysie cry in vain
    Great turbulence and strife engulf
Lost is the fable of Mongolian assasins
Forgotten is the hatred of black oil curse

Men in power rule with joy
For winners, gold and lust awaits
Lost are the tales of greed and arrogance
Forgotten are the tales of men in chains

Little Napoleon kings jump in joy
For keeping the turf and rule once more
But alas, such is the game being played
The time to repent is so in vain

Stomach empty, spirit rise in men
Seeking justice for those in pain
A man of honor they seek within
To play a game of which to gain

Across the land, the people rose
Silence and patience is the game being played
Within the halls and corridors of fame
Man of honor win the game

  16. If Anwar is really not guilty as what he’d preached then, go out from the embassy and face the police. He shouldn’t be hiding behind the door of Turkey Embassy.
it’s not relevant, the charge is not political, it’s criminal, so the act of seeking refugee from the embassy is unnecessary.

  17. Why anwar has to hide?
Why now someone wants to assassinate him.
Any threats of assassination, if they do exist, it could have been anytime during the last few months of his campaign.
If any one to be assassinated right now would be
    1. saiful by anwar hardcore supporters
    2. RPK by the accused parties in his SD

This timings of allegations of possible assassination could also be a complete fabrication, that is, to be coincidence with Saiful’s police report. how convenient!

This is just to divert public attention thru dramatization of situation. Where’s the proof of this threat? whom and why.

If the government is behind this, it will backfire the government tremendously.

THINK! Hypothetically, If the parties (presumably with interest with the present government) wants to assassinate, they are digging their own grave with the government.

Plus the fact, No one in the government today can actually orchestrate such allegations, taking the task to overcome public outrage as it did in 98. BN is too busy with their internal crisis to be burdened by another public outcry.

And to date, the government has not provided any “supplementary” innuendoes to support this little known Saiful. On the other hand, the opposition was quick to provide photos of this saiful with government officials.

If they succeed to kill anwar, the public will definitely succeed to to bring down the government thru democracy.

If anwar is a true hero, he shouldn’t go into hiding. he should be brave enough to risk his life for his whatever his ideal cause. He will give birth to more anwars, and he will be remembered just like Martin Luther King. Malaysia political map will change.

But this is not going to happen. Because Anwar is more interested to become PM.

  18. Apa dah jadi dgn peminpin2 politik malaysia ni, mcam2 masaalah yg terjadi, masaalah Najib dgn perempuan monggolia lah, kebodohan pak lah sebagai peminpin, dan yg terkini, masaalah kes liwat Anuar pula, mcamana lah peminpin2 kita nak perjuangkan hak rakyat, lama kelamaan rakyat malaysia telungkup le. eh eh eh !!! cobaan.

  20. something is wrong here. if it is true that he was being set up, why did whoever that setting this up using the same issue over again? and if it is true that he’s innocent why he is hiding now?

  22. This old habit of Anwar just cannot go away…

    It is sad.

But if the allegations are true, then Anwar should be punished.

Why should the Saiful lie about the incident?

What does he benefit from it?

anwar must have been eyeing the young man’s ass for some time and he cannot control his lust…

  23. Hye guys,

I quoted this from renovatio blogged by stephendoss concrning about Anwar sodomise cases issued previously..checked it out..

    RAYUAN JENAYAH NO: 05-6-2003 (W)

    RAYUAN JENAYAH NO. 05-7-2003 (W)

In this judgment, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim will be referred to as “the first appellant” and Sukma Darmawan Sasmitaat Madja will be referred to as “the second appellant”.

The first appellant was charged with an offence punishable under section 377B of the Penal Code.

The second appellant was charged with two offences. The first charge is for abetting the first appellant in the commission of the offence with which the first appellant was charged. The second charge is similar to the charge against the first appellant i.e. under section 377B of the Penal Code.

Both the appellants were tried jointly. The first appellant was convicted and sentenced to nine years imprisonment commencing from the expiry of the sentence he was then serving in the first trial. High Court Kuala Lumpur Criminal Trial No. 45-48-1998 (1999)2 M.L.J. 1 (H.C), (2002)2 M.L.J. 486 (C.A.) and (2002) 3 M.L.J. 193 (F.C.)). The second appellant was convicted on both charges and sentenced to six years imprisonment and two strokes for each charge with the sentences of imprisonment to run concurrently. For the judgment of the High Court in the present case, see (2001) 3 M.L.J. 193.

They appealed to the Court of Appeal. Their appeals were dismissed – see (2004) 1 M.L.J. 177.

They appealed to this court and this is the majority judgment of this court.

Section 87(3) of the Courts of Judicature Act 1964 (“CJA 1964”) provides that a criminal appeal to this court “may lie on a question of fact or a question of law or on a question of mixed fact and law.” The position is the same as in the case of the Court of Appeal hearing an appeal from a trial in the High Court as in this case – see section 50(3) CJA 1964.

To summarise our judgment, even though reading the appeal record, we find evidence to confirm that the appellants were involved in homosexual activities and we are more inclined to believe that the alleged incident at Tivoli Villa did happen, sometime, this court, as a court of law, may only convict the appellants if the prosecution has successfully proved the alleged offences as stated in the charges, beyond reasonable doubt, on admissible evidence and in accordance with established principles of law. We may be convinced in our minds of the guilt or innocence of the appellants but our decision must only be based on the evidence adduced and nothing else.”

  24. After reading Pak Husin Lempoyang, now I understand why Anwar seeking refuge at Turkish Ambasador and not other place. Its heaven on earth I guess..

Anwar to announce by-election candidacy this week?

This is what Anwar Ibrahim told Agence France Presse (AFP) in a telephone interview this morning:

Anwar said the allegations were aimed at derailing his spectacular political comeback as the figurehead of the opposition which made unprecedented gains in March elections, and came just as he was about to re-enter parliament.

“This is their intention. You know we will announce a by-election this week. I will contest in the by-election, the police knew that,” he said. […]

“Umno members and MPs have promised to come out and campaign for me so they come out with these sexual allegations to stop me from securing power,” he said.

I personally spoke to the foreign correspondent who filed the AFP story and he re-confirmed it. Therefore, I am awaiting more development with bated breath.

  28. Robert13’s post is an eye opener.
so anwar’s not innocent, the act of sodomy did take place just that there’s a ‘technical’ error that made them not able to convict Anwar… So Anwar is not entirely innocent at all……….
Maybe all of you should read it!
    an eye opener..

  29. Perhaps this all his own drama that he is playing out.
Everyone one knows such an action if by the Govt would be suicide for it at this juncture when everyone has snarled at it.
Things may be a lot different then what most of the populace think! remember – the majority are just gullible.. People like Anwar and RPK are smart albeit in an evil way, (not than BN has less evil too)
and will play dirty games.. this is just one of thier ploy to bring up a sensational issue, as he himself knows no one believes the sodomy allegation (Me too), and thus casting himself as a victim to gain sympathy.

  30. “Dia” kata ” saya dapat ugutan maut melalui SMS”

yang isteri dia tunjuk gambor mangsa liwat suami dia dalam phone tu watpa? tunjuk la sms “ugutan maut” tu …

drama je lebih bung nuar ni ..

  31. BD,

I hope that, for our sake, the report is proven true, once and for all.

This baggage we’ve been carrying is holding back real progress, especially when UMNO is led by…someone not capable enough to handle the situation

  32. For the sake of his own safety.

    This has gone too far.

How could they bully us when we gave them power?

Sama-samalah kita fikirkan:

We live in an era where conspiracy theory thrives. So this is my take: this could also be Anwar’s strategy to create a sense of deep and terrible crisis in the country. yes, he is not a sodomite and I don’t believe he is either and he knew that people do not believe it either. So create one so he could play victim.

He is caught in the middle. he does not actually have the ‘numbers’ to form the government and no way he could face the public and have an honest and serious debate with Shabery Cheek on the fuel price. so rather than having to face questions from the public when the time comes to deliver on his promise which would surely undermine his credibility, create a crisis now and make himself the victim: that he is no longer safe and he needs the safe sanctuary of a foreign embassy.

Give me a break! As Bill Clinton once angrily said about Obama’s campaign: this is the biggest fairy tale I have ever heard. Badawi, despite his weakness, is not Mugabe. In fact, we are witnessing unprecedented level of freedom and openness in the country. This is probably just Anwar’s way to maintain public distrust towards the government. Try to paint Malaysia as another Zimbabwe where politicians get assasination threat and hoorah – all the public and international attention will be on him.

I believe no member of the government would want to repeat 1998. In fact, i don’t think anybody in the current government believe that he was a sodomite when he had to face the allegation in 1998. 1998 was someone else’s doing.

The government knows that this kind of allegation will not stand in the court of public opinion. They know that the public will hate them more if they do this. Yes, Anwar is a political threat to them, but not threatening enough for them to lose power on 16 September. At the time when the public is beginning to question the capability and on the promise of the PR in the 5 state governments, this kind of crisis is the last thing a BN government would want.

Anwar has endured worse treatment in 1998 and he can afford to create such sense of treatment – something which the public will find it impossible to believe – today. It is partly the sense of bad treatment that earns him public admiration and pity. So I won’t rule out the possibility that this is Anwar’s own doing.

Don’t be naive and take everything at face value. What Anwar needs is continuous attention. You have seen how he plays it well. Withholding evidence, tapes, pictures just so that he could release at the right time so that this country is in perpetual crisis. Anwar is a master politician who knows how to play his card well!

  34. Hi Bigman.

Do not want to encroach further into theories and conspiracies etc kind of things, because you had put it in such a brilliant way and style and thinking too.

I can list for you and others, countless theories lining from conspiracies up to perhaps just plain and simple truth. But since this case has so much graver consequences to both the accused and accuser; i would like to see (or hear) some preliminary developments from the investigating trustees before making a theory of my own. I dont want to mislead others onto believing anything other than what was in front of them.

But one thing i HATE to say but LOVE to admit, is the fact of Anwar evidently reliance on foreigners or foreign powers TO HELP HIM. He has established those with people in the US, with some prominent Jewish, with doctors in Germany presumably Germans, with Indonesian popular activists and now the Turks who residing at the Turkey Embassy. Looks like he had LESS of MALAYSIAN in mind.

One interesting outcome from this latest ‘bontot’ event is the cleverness of Anwar in diverting the criminal case against him. Anwar is known for his dramatisation of events, if he wants something or trying to get out of the mud. Another round of blaming the government i.e. police, AG, UMNO, BN, DPM, PM, etc for his crime against nature.

Remember the Baling case during his student days? Or the last trial – remember the arsenic poisoning? Remember the complaint about his back pain? Remember the dog collar that always stuck on his neck when he went to courts? Remember he moved about on wheel chair? Now no back pain or neck pain! He was cured as soon as he was released from jail!

Now the truth has come out, he went to the Turkish Embassy uninvited said the Turkish Ambassador. He just deposited himself there to get international attention. He got many friends outside Malaysia, who will believe him and make a strong outcry that his crime was fabricated. That’s what Anwar wants.

By the way, who wants him killed? If that is the case, he should have been assassinated a long time ago! Even before the opposition could win many state governments in the last elections. Anwar is best described as the great Hindustani or Bollywood actor. Pity his wife Azizah, she has to defend Anwar because he is her husband although she knows Anwar inside out.

    Kelentongan si anwar yang ketara
    Atas jemputan duta, anwar dakwa
    Konon keselamtannya mahu dijaga
    Menurut rais, duta Turki nafikannya

    Penyokong si anwar masih membela
    Konon kata rais janganlah dipercaya
Akui betul jika duta Turki yang kata
    Ceritareka anwar, beliau yang suara

    Beginilah ciri utama anggota mereka
Apa pun kata si anwar ditelan sahaja
Eloklah RTM segera tampil ke muka
    Temuramah duta Turki terbaik cara

  37. also his life might not be endangered at all, he just wants the attention of the international community. just the thing we need to destabilize our country even more.

  38. Ten years ago Dr Wan Azizah accused BN of trying to inject AIDS virus into DSAI. Ten years later assainsination plot. Apa mereka ingat kita semua bodahkah. This is another conspiracy play by DSAI , Flip Flop and KJ to bring down Najib.
Najib go for the Presidency of UMNO!.

  39. Wan azizah said no background check was done on saiful,

So anwar had to do a backside check himself – just a joke!

  40. What the F***! You Malaysians sound like idiots when come to political games. What makes you think ‘kiling or murdering’ of your political opponents is not an option. Wake up, guys! Malaysia is no longer a country in the 60’s or in the 70’s during which time a ‘tidak ape attitude’ was a acceptable thing. Now people will do anything for power. Look at the Mangolian model case. When you’re desperate, you can pull any stunt just to stay in power. Do you think Barisan politicians are not capable of doing dirty tricks or taking away any human life? Look at your history, dudes! Your policticians are not angels. Some are the worst scumbags for sure. Instead of jumping the gun, why can’t you just wait for the outcomes of the police investigation! Who the hell are you to judge anybody you don’t like in the first place? But sounds like you just did and your credibility is now in the toilet! Maybe you ought to try your own a**hole fucked instead!!

  41. Hey dudes! You guys have been conned big time. This is the case of Annuar’s credibility against the words of a 23 year old old dude whose face seems to appear with common faces of high powered politicians. If this is true, it doesn’t take a rocket science to explain everything, does it?

  42. […] Who and why would anyone wants to put Anwar’s life in ‘grave danger’, at this poi… So it was true PKR Adviser and convicted Former Deputy Prime Minister […]

  43. To wang boston,
You are the one that should refer to history, Malaysia is a peaceful country and since all these popular politicians be it Anwar, Abdullah, Najib or Tun they are all Malay, the one would ‘kill’ him will be a Malays as well, but Malay in Malaysia would rather solve the conflict by laws instead of killing. If Malay in Malaysia is extreme and agressive, there won’t be any Chinese or Indian left.

It seems clear to me that Anwar is not a capable leader. He wasn’t the smartest during his college years either, flunked many papers and just barely passed his degree. He was the Finance Minister that failed to react to the 1997 economic crisis. He never had any real achievment. He had no clue to what he could do to improve Malaysia in all aspect.

Hidding in a foreign Embassy, instead of confirming to the process of law is totally an act of an idiot. This is the best drama he could do. Always about himself, not the people.

    Hingga kini, peluang Anwar untuk jadi PM nampak mustahil kerana;
    1. Bekas penjenayah (ex-convict) tidak boleh menjawat sebarang jawatan awam kecuali mendapat pengampunan sepenuhnya daripada DYMM Agong. (IC bukan Biru ma)

    2. Maka mungkin inilah sebabnya Anwar tidak meminta mana-mana kerusi MP PKR untuk dikosongkan bagi beliau bertanding menjadi MP melalui pilihanraya kecil.

  45. On June 30, 2008 at 5:41 pm Kesava Said:

  46. Apalah korang niii …
Nyawa Anwar memang dalam bahaya !!
Dari siapa ? Siapa lagi kalau bukan dari …

    1. Isteri dia.
    2. Anak dia.
    3. Penyokong buta dia.

  47. Who would want him dead? All we know is: the conspirators who have been sponsoring him lavishly MIGHT want this. Twice they have sponsored him, planned for him, and twice anwar failed them with his wanton lust.

  49. hello guys,

Its very confusing. He claimed allegations were meant to derail his election plans in which he was going to contest. He also claimed that 4 MP’s were also ready to leave the coalition and join him. Yet the statement of him refuge himself in the Turkey Embassy given by the vice-president PKR said that he was invited. Pls look at this statement below which comes from the Foreign Minister DS Rais Yatim:

“PUTRAJAYA, June 30 (Bernama) — De facto Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is accused of sodomising an aide and is currently holed-up at the Turkish ambassador’s residence in Kuala Lumpur, was never invited to the diplomat’s home nor had he sought political asylum from the Turkish government.
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Rais Yatim, after a meeting Turkish ambassador to Malaysia Barlas Ozener at Wisma Putra Monday, told reporters that the diplomat had clarified that Anwar was never invited to his house and that the opposition leader had gone there on his own accord.
“The Malaysian government accepts this explanation. Anwar is not at the ambassador’s house as an asylum seeker but as a guest. It has just been less than 24 hours. If he stays there for a longer period then we might have to take a different stance. The question of political asylum too does not arise,” he said.
Last Saturday Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, a 23-year-old special assistant of Anwar, lodged a police report alleging that he was sodomised by Anwar on Thursday at an apartment in Damansara Heights.
Early yesterday morning, Anwar took refuge at the residence of the Turkish ambassador, claiming that he had gone there because he feared for his personal safety after receiving death threats earlier in the week.”

While this one comes from the vice-president of PKR itself on behalf of DSAI statement..checked it out:

“Malaysian de facto Opposition leader seeks refuge at Turkish Embassy

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, who said he feared for his life, has sought refuge at the Turkish embassy in Kuala Lumpur this morning.

He went to the embassy at 6am and according to PKR vice-president Azmin Ali, he would be there “indefinitely”.

The following is his full statement released at 5.30pm:

I am issuing this statement from within the embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Kuala Lumpur.

I was transported to the embassy earlier this morning fearing that my personal safety was in danger. I thank all those who offered to assist me in this time of need and am grateful to the Turkish ambassador for extending an invitation to seek refuge within the embassy.

Since the March 8 election, numerous credible sources from within the government and military intelligence have advised me that certain agents from within Barisan Nasional leadership have initiated plots to cause harm to me or my family or my supporters.

I have been told that my assassination has not been ruled out as means to subvert the people’s will and bring an end to the transformational changes taking place in Malaysia.

Notwithstanding the threats which are intended to silence my voice, I intend to make public new evidence implicating that Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan and Attorney-General A Gani Patail engaged in criminal acts of fabricating evidence in cases launched against me in 1998.

The allegations that have been made against me on Saturday are nothing more than a replay of the events which transpired in 1998 when I was sacked from the office of the deputy prime minister, jailed and beaten, and then charged and convicted by a kangaroo court for crimes which I never committed.

This charade was orchestrated by a corrupt Barisan Nasional leadership which made use of the entire apparatus of the state power including its control of the judiciary, the police force, and its grip on the mainstream media.

These actions are being repeated today to undermine the forces of reform and renewal which were unleashed in the March 2008 election.

I would like to assure my family, friends and supporters in Malaysia that I am safe and remain committed as ever before to continuing the struggle for a free and just Malaysia.

    Anwar Ibrahim

So, the question is who making a lie here?

And also checked this one out..

US cautions over sex charges against Anwar:

The United States said today it would oppose any politically motivated investigation or prosecution of Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim facing fresh sex misconduct charges.
Anwar is being investigated over new allegations of sodomy, Malaysian police said on Saturday, the same charge that saw him jailed six years until 2004, when the charge was overturned.
The former deputy premier accused the government of concocting the new sex claims by a 23-year-old male aide and had briefly sought sanctuary at the Turkish embassy in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, saying he had received threats and feared for his life.
“The main point for us is that the rule of law needs to stand above politics,” said Tom Casey, spokesman for the US State Department.
“And we would certainly oppose any use of law enforcement or judicial procedures for anything other than legitimate purposes of the law,” he said.
Noting that Anwar had previously faced similar charges and that his conviction was ultimately overturned, Casey said, “So, we would hope that there’s not a pattern here.
“But, certainly, we would be concerned that anything that is done be done in a way that is appropriate, that is a legitimate investigation of charges that might exist under Malaysian law, and would not be anything that was a politically-motivated investigation or prosecution,” he said.

So, now we finally see the true colours of Anwar Ibrahim, this will only confirm that anwar could be a pawn of the US, and that anwar is the chosen puppet. So, what say you guys? Correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks.

  50. Ini bukan cerita seks luar tabie-lah.
    Tapi kes ROGOL.
    Dia dituduh merogol.

  51. Hey Mohd Osman – You don’t have no clue about the May 13 event, do you? Either you were too young or too retard to remember the bloody history of yours. I’m sure your grand father could explain what it was like to be during that period. You didn’t witness the bloody color of Gombak river, did you? Tell me more about that peaceful country you are talking about. You are pretty lucky for now, but watch your back, kids! You may have a civil war pretty soon if you’re not careful. If idiots like you are still putting your political leaders too high on the pedestal, you could loose everything in front of your eyes. So, don’t let your ears fool you!

  52. Hey one more thing – Can’t you see the obvious thing happening in front of your eyes now? All are about Anwar and Najib. Both are stupids fucking malays who are after each other’s throat. And other races are watching your guys very closely. I am sure they would love to see your guys messed each other’s brain or maybe killed each other soon. Both sides are corrupted, but the music of power for these idiots are still being played in your ears. Hey, what have you been smoking lately, idiots?

  57. everything just don’t seem to add up. if it is true that someone in the government want to frame Anwar, why did they use the same old trick, sodomy? it will be stupid right? and by the way, watch out wang..

Bila Rasul sebut “Islam”, majoriti Arab Quraisy menolak.

Kalau menyokong jangan sampai membawa rebah.

Kalau menyokong jangan memuja, cukuplah sekadar memuji.

Come on! Berdegar-degar beritahu orang keliling awak pro Islam pro keadilan, tapi menyorok?

Pejuang Islam sejati takkan maki hamun orang lain, apalagi saudara seagama.

    Saudara bukan idola saya lagi.
