The DAP this morning demonstrated the true colours of being a PAP off-spring here in Malaysia. Seretary General Lim Guan Eng parroted what Singapore Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s words about Malaysia in the Dewan Rakyat.
In the recent visit, Lee complained about Malaysia’s infrastructure and under-developmentness. Far worse than that, he explicitly touched on the unsubstantiated claims against Malaysia’s internal politics.
“In referrence to the recent Lee Kuan Yew visit. Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak would not give any assistance to Penang because Lee said that even under Gerakan, Federal Government did very little for Penang. I challenge PM Dato’ Seri Najib should prove Lee wrong”, the Penang Chief Minister said in a press coference at the Parliament lobby. Upon making this statement, Lim is defacing the maruah of the nation to an ultra arrogant tyrant of a little red dot city-state island off the coast of the southern most tip of continent Asia.
Being his usual kurang ajarness self, the former Prime Minister and PAP Secretary General come to Malaysia and conveniently insult the host and trying to teach how Malaysians to run this country. In any culture, it is most rude when a guest insults the host and try teaching the latter how to run his or her household. It is undoubtably an insult to the maximum from someone who ought to be statesman and behave in the mannerism befitting as one. Once a tyrant, Lee has actually done this over and over again in many countries. The irony is that, being a Chinese ethnic, he has not been invited in many places in China for his incurable and incorrigible kurang ajarness habit.
This is definitely something that a member of the Singapore Cabinet should never do. More over, when he is visiting the said country. Not only he unilaterally broke the ASEAN covenant of non-interference to a neighbour’s domestic politics, Lee Kuan Yew should observe his presence in Malaysia being accorded with a full diplomatic and visiting statesman status. This kurang ajarness could escalate into an ugly diplomatic conflict between very close neighbours.
What Lee Kuan Yew did and said during the eight day ‘walkabout’ could actually worsen what easily could be a volatile relationship between the two countries, which in the past have seen several ‘discomfort’ stance. The Chinese Chauvisnism that Lee demonstrated in this visit to a Malay hinterland is unacceptable. In fact, a current Political Secretary to a Pakatan Rakyat Menteri Besar and now PKR YB once blogged on Lee Kuan Yew’s racism. This proves the point that beng a lackey, the Chief Chauvinist DAP Chief Minister is magnifying the diplomatic level insult that the PAP Supremo is making.
DAP being an off-spring and Singapore’s anti-Malay ‘representative’ is very clear. Firstly, DAP carried on PAP’s anti-Federal Constitution campaign of “Malaysian, Malaysia”; to ask the dissolution of specific provisions for the Malays such as Article 153 of the Federal Constitution.
Then, continuously there is no Malay office bearers in the composition of DAP Leaders. This pattern is exactly like how the Malays are regarded in Singaporean politics. At best, former MTUC President Ahmad Nor was once made the DAP Vice Chairman. Even that, was not for long. In fact, when Lim Guan Eng assumed the premiership of Penang after the 12th General Elections, no Malay official was given a political appointment on a DAP ticket.
How the DAP run their organisation is very much reflective of their ‘parent’. Both parent and bastard son advocate and jealously protect their ‘dynasty’. Lee Kuan Yew’s eldest son Brig Gen (NS) Lee Hsien Loong was appointed Minister of State of Trade and Industry in 1984 (at the age of 32), six years before his father retired. In 1986, he was the Acting Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of Defense II. That means the current Singapore Prime Minister and PAP Secretary General served as a Cabinet member to his father for four whole years!
Same with Lim Kit Siang. Son Lim Guan Eng was elected as Melaka MP in 1986, when the father was still DAP Chief Executive. Had the DAP was in power back then, rest assured Lim Guan Eng would have been given executive position. Now, while the father is still very much active in mainstream politics and as an elected representative, Lim Guan Eng is the DAP Secretary General.
The dynastic behaviour of both families is also very similar. Lee Kuan Yew’s second son, Brig. Gen. (NS) Lee Hsien Yang was made the SAF Director of Operations in his raw age of early thirties. By the time he was 38, he was already the CEO of major Singaporean GLC, Singtel. Lee Kuan Yew’s daughter in law was once the Temasek CEO. Lim Kit Siang’s daughter in law was once a DAP State Assemblywoman in Melaka.
The ‘Thirteen million Ringgit’ (or SG Dollar – which ever is applicable) question: aren’t there any other personalities besides the Lees and Lims, worthy enough to be considered and assume leadership and play strategic roles in their respective turfs?
The DAP, exactly as the parent PAP, are suffering from this acute incurable phobia when the Malays are united. Despite that Ketuanan Melayu is constitutional and not repressive of anyone’s rights. The fact is that, the Malays are very tolerantand accomodative towards immigrants, to a point where the immigrant behave unbecoming of an accepted guest.
The autocratic pattern of both ‘control freak’ dynasties is very clear. If and when DAP is given power, they will definitely ‘rule and opress’, just like Singaporean PAP did. DAP is now emulating the parent; as a minority, insult the majority as much as one possibly can.
Salam Bro,
Najib and his team has a lot more to learn about LKY and the right person he should turn to and listen is non other than Ybhg Tun Dr Mahathir.
I am saddend the manner Najib allows LKY to freely enter our country, choose whom he wants to meet and above that making bad comments about the Malaysian Government.
Najib ! please listen to the voices of the RAKYAT and in particular the voices of the MALAYS who voted him to be the PRIME MINISTER of MALAYSIA.
Nasi telah menjadi bubur Big Bro. Mereka telah membiarkan LKY bermaharajalela cuti-cuti Malaysia dengan bebasnya. Sekarang pulang paku buah keras. Cakap Tun M tak nak dengar. Mengenai LKY, tak nak ulas panjang, nanti saya mencarut.
The LKY-LHL combo tu is akin to DAP jugak, where only Guan Eng is a worthy successor to Kit Siang and Gobin to Karpal. These are the very people harping on the same in UMNO/BN. Lain kali they should look into the mirror first before mouthing all that sh** (not that I approve of the same in UMNO/BN, faaaaaaar from it). Tu pun ada Melayu yg sanggup gadai maruah bangsa by joining DAP,with all it racial slant it tries to sugarcoat under Bangsa Malaysia.
My,my you must be on the gravy train with language like bastard son,the way you worry is as though you are second in command in this country.
You are dem stewpid!
You want to blame DAP and then blame LKY pulak.
Look through that racist coloured specs you are wearing, who is the real idiot in this country who let LKY to freely roam Malaysia for 8 days???
LKY would not dare do what he did unless he has something on your dear UMNO president Najis Razak.
As far as LKY is concerned, the longer Najis and Rosmah holds the PM ship, the better!!!
Ha ha ha, Singapore rules Malaysia via Najis Razak!!!
The SG Special Branch guaranteed 110% have the photos!!!!
First & foremost, correct me if i am wrong, i can’t recall a Malay ever being a Chief Minister of Penang since Independence. Central government have helped them in terms of building credible international airport, highway linkage, railway & seaport. Some other states don’t have all these combination. These are the most important infra to help develop a state. I’m surprised they are left behind by Perak, as noted by Kuan Yew.
Secondly, i feel it is umno (or certain few in umno) who has become an extension of PAP in Malaysia. See how freely Kuan Yew can meet all range of the political sphere with good MSM & alternative media coverage. For a moment i thought the chief running in Putrajaya is from Pakatan and not BN. Perhaps it was Wisma Putra acting on its own who made the schedule for Lee!
Mahathir has not spoken aloud yet albeit minimal in his blog, but Johor Sultan and his people have. Najib you better get your act together properly.
Lastly can’t help noticing how Kuan Yew ignored the indian parties. Or did he quietly meet up with MIC, PPP, IPF or Hindraf. Maybe they are an insignificant minority in the eyes of our ‘distinguish guest’ from Temasek!
apa melayu buat pun, najib tak kan dengar punya. Telinga dia bukan untuk melayu.
high time the malays say goodbye to malaysia.
to show that you malays are not his priority any more, this razak-waste-basket-son brought in he who invited the islaeli president.
The same can be said of the UMNO hierarchy. Dr M and son, Tub Abdul Razak and son, etc. By the way, is it necessary to use the word “bastard” to describe LKS’s son no matter how much you dislike the pair?
I think the word ‘bastard’ is taken out of context by Hue. The way I read this piece, ‘bastard son’ refers to the status of DAP in relation to PAP, not LHL to LKY.
PAS spitritual leader was so pathetic went he received LKY in kota baru. Nik Aziz a muslim, can praise the way LKY runs Singapore cleanly and effeciently, but at the same time refuse and reject any talk with UMNO who are thier brothers in faith. UMNO members worship the One and Only ALLAH, say Salawat for The Holy Prophet, perform Haj and Umrah, perform alot of good for the Muslim as well as the rest of the Malaysian. Instead he prefer to work and talk with DAP but not UMNO, so sad and scary. He calls himself a spiritual leader???!!!
Please remember IF DAP ever wins a PRU with or without Pakatan, Malaysians will see a growing number of churches all over the country, maybe Nik Aziz will say its OK. Please remember Nik Aziz is a Politician, no more a religous leader the day he took up politics. Great Islamic scholar will never hold office. Some even willing to go to jail rather than to hold appointment.
Muslim in Malaysia must remember that PAP survive partly because of the malays in Singapore giving thier support to PAP, but what did they get in return, only one full minister all this while, but the Indian get better deal, 3 to 4 full minister. The malays must now thank Anwar Ibrahim for showing his true color. This man Anwar is willing to sell his race and nation just to achieve his ambition, to be PM at any cost. Latest is asking for chin peng to be let in Malaysia.
Please Malays, wake up if you have not.Don’t you realise who this Anwar Ibrahim is by now.No point regretting later.
