Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmood is expected to dive in a military operation by the Royal Malaysian Navy later today. It will be carried out off the west coast of Sabah later this morning.
In his official visit to TLDM Sepanggar Bay near Kota Kinabalu, His Majesty Tuanku will be taken to F2000 Class frigate KD Lekiu and there on will be transfered to the lead boat of the Perdana Class Scorpene submarine KD Tunku Abdul Rahman, where he will participate in a military exercise to demonstrate its full diving and deep water capabilities. His Majesty Tuanku is expected to witness several other military demonstration from the near abyss depth of the South China Sea.
This would really dispel the notion where Opposition leaders namely Permatang Pauh MP Anwar “Mat King Leather” Ibrahim, his daughter Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders’ lies that the submarines are “Unable to dive and do operational duties”. Today’s military exercise would also demonstrate the operational capabilities as a strategic weapon in deep dive. On 26 July 2010, KD Tunku Abdul Rahman demonstrated life firing using the SM 39 Exocet missile, launched from 180ft below the surface.
Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar and Commander of the Submarine Force First Admiral Dato’ Rosland Omar will accompany His Majesty Tuanku.
The exercise is organised by Royal Malaysian Navy with full co-operation of MINDEF. Last month, His Majesty Tuanku was taken on a supersonic flight onboard the SU 30 MKM fighter off the west coast of Langkawi. This exercise marks the first Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong to not only fly supersonic on an air superiority fighter, but also to dive in a hunter killer submarine.
His Majesty Tuanku dived with KD Tunku Abdul Rahman at 0930hrs, accompanied by Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar.
His Majesty Tuanku concluded his diving mission with KD Tunku Abdul Rahman at 1245hrs. The dive in the South China Sea exceeded 1,000ft depth. It is a record indeed again for His Majesty Tuanku and a Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The first HRH Ruler to dive in a Perdana Class submarine is HRH Sultan Selangor Tuanku Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah with the KD Tun Razak, when it arrives from France in July 2010.
His Majesty Tuanku participated in an exercise involving KD Lekiu as the ‘enemy’ and the full capability of the Perdana Class submarine on operations in very deep waters.
Currently, His Majesty Tuanku is being transfered back to KD Lekiu where he would be flown to Kota Kinabalu International Airport by RMN helicopter. There on, he would fly back to TUDM Subang on the RMAF BBJ.
For Anwar, Nurul and the rest of Opposition Leaders who spread lies about the Perdana Class Scorpene submarines, it is time for them to apologise to Malaysians for misleading the nation with make belief facts. Otherwise, they should be charged for treason against His Majesty and the defense of the realm.
“A doctor in the house” received overwhelming response. It was sold out yesterday. MPH is facing issues how to meet demands.
It is a good problem to have indeed.
Mat King Leather is now retaliating. As Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad put it, “He is a challenging man. He challenges everyone”.
It is so like Mat King Leather to challenge Tun Dr. Mahathir, again this round. So he is coming up with a book immediately. it will be called “A sodomite in the room?”.
“A doctor in the house” is one of the most comforting statement for any dwellers, anywhere. Even in moving vessels, that statement give a lot of comfort if not relief. Especially when there is an emergency.
There is one special doctor who had given Malaysia and Malaysians a lot of comfort in the last 30 years.
This afternoon, will be the unveiling of the much sought after memoir in the country. If the blog could be the most successful, then 850 pager is expected to be a hit. Please form a bee line at your nearest major bookstore particularly the MPH starting from 1000am tomorrow onwards.
Fourth Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad launched his much awaited memoir at Mid Valley Mega Mall at 330pm in a simple ceremony. He did not give any speech but instead took questions from the floor, of invitees which include the media.
“I am a doctor and always a doctor. I did not have any training in economics, finance or administration. But when you have to attend to the nation’s ills, its like a doctor’s job”.
His message is very clear. “I am a common man. Any common man could do what I did. We just need to strive our best”.
There would be some critics and worse of all, haters after this memoir hits the shelves. However, majority of Malaysians still openly willing to demonstrate their respect if not love for him, in the open despite that he has left the office of the Prime Minister seven and a half years ago.
The sort of audience and response that he gets whenever he speaks attracted very encouraging attendance. His blog is by-far attracts 1 million hits every 15 days. So far today alone, MPH already sold 5,000 copies of the memoir and reported to be sold out. It is expected that the book would be very popular to the majority.
In short, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad is very inspirational to many Malaysians. He is also popular all over the world.
The Kerdau and Merlimau by-election results are out. As expected BN did it again, with the fifth consecutive by-elections since Galas and Batu Sapi and most recently, Tenang.
In Kerdau BN’s Syed Ibrahim polled an increased majority to 2,724 votes against PAS’s Hassanuddin Salim where else in Merlimau, BN’s Roslan Ahmad enjoyed an increased majority of 3,643 votes majority against PAS’s Yuhaizad Abdullah. Turnout was at 83% and 78% respectively. Both BN candidates earned more than 5,000 votes each.
The performance is really encouraging. BN’s increased in majority in Kerdau rose by 33% and in Merlimau, it is a handsome 68%. The majority BN polled in both area actually surpassed the votes polled by both PAS candidate. In Kerdau, BN’s majority is actually 16% more than what the rakyat voted for PAS where as in Merlimau it is a whopping 57% more than what Yuhaizad polled.
It is very clear that not only this is a twin whammy for PAS, it is also a big blow for Pakatan Rakyat. Particularly, defacto leader Anwar “Mat King Leather” Ibrahim. The former-abuse-of-power-convict and now facing a second time sodomy trial, was literally shred to pieces by Ummi Halfida Ali three nights ago in Temerloh. Retreating in humiliation in front of ‘imported’ supporters, the partyless-Opposition Leader was hailed with bishop’s nose in the next immediate venue of Felda 22, North of Temerloh.
Felda issues were something PAS candidates banked on in this by-election. It was the same tone as the one seen in Tenang. It did not catch on with the Felda settlers.
PAS could never deal with local issues. The national issues which Pakatan Rakyat attempted to be brought for the consumption for both DUNs demonstrated that the spinning and manipulation of facts could no longer hold water. Especially when they are unable to provide practical solutions for voters if and then when they win. The performance in states that they already enjoying the pleasure of ruling exactly since three years ago speaks for who they really are.
Pakatan Rakyat’s wet dream of rakyat’s discontent is confirmed over. Tides have turned and BN under PM Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak’s leadership and his ‘1 Malaysia’, coupled with the Economic Transformation Plan and Government Transformation Plan is on full steam ahead. It is time for the Federal Government to deliver, despite the gloom world economic climate.
Pakatan Rakyat lost its pride. The unholy-marriage-of-backstabbing-strange-bedfellows post the ‘Political Tsunami’ of 8 March 2008 12th General Elections which unprecendentedly amassed 82 comfortable Dewan Rakyat seats has now since lost 6 of their own MPs defecting out as independent. The poor and weak leadership of PM ‘Flip-Flop’ Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was capitalised fully by the power-by-deceit Prime Minister aspirant Anwar.
Pakyat Rakyat had what was the closest alternative to Barisan Nasional then. Now, with their own internal problems particularly in PKR as the lead party, it has lost its potential. Pakatan Rakyat also failed to deliver is states where they won, namely Kelantan, Kedah, Penang and Selangor. In Penang, DAP led PR has shown is true colours being Chinese Chauvinists. In Selangor, even HRH Sultan of Selangor expressed his deep dissatisfaction on Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s below average leadership, which include over politicking to a point of trying to have a go against the Palace.
As expected, failure is a most probable option for these politicians without proper plan.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Md. Yassin who is BN’s Deputy Chairman and directly responsible for by-elections deserve a good pat in the back for the fifth consecutive time. It goes also to Melaka Chief Minister Dato’ Seri Ali Rustam and Pahang Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Adnan Yaacob.
