Where was Dr Hassan on the Red Rock Hotel controversy?

Selangor PAS Commissioner and Selangor State Government Exco for religious affairs Dr Hassan Md Ali

Upholding the Federation of Malaysia Constitution in the administration and position of Islam and Muslims, Selangor Exco-in-charge of Relgious Affairs Dr Hassan Md Ali defended the actions of his JAIS men raiding a Methodist Church in Damansara Utama on Wednesday night.

Hasan claims event was to proselytise Muslims

PETALING JAYA: Selangor executive councillor Datuk Dr Hasan Ali has defended the raid on Damansara Utama Methodist Church, claiming there was evidence of proselytisation towards Muslims.

“We carried out the raid after receiving information there were Muslims at a breaking-of-fast event at the church.

“In the early part of the event, a person was quoting the words Quran’ and pray’ in the speech,” he said in a statement yesterday.

He said the Jais enforcement team and the police came at the end of the event and made checks although they were stopped by the organisers.

“The main organiser, believed to be a Muslim, had negotiated for almost an hour with the team leader of the operation to ensure that the investigation would only take place after the event ended,” he added.

Dr Hasan said the authorities had found materials to prove there was non-Islamic preaching although there were attempts to get rid of the evidence.

“Some of the participants tried to escape via the back door of the premises but they were stopped by Jais officers,” he said.

According to the statement, there were 12 Muslims at the event and they had been ordered to turn up at the Jais enforcement office for further investigation.

“There was no raid and arrest made. Jais only conducted examinations after negotiations with the organisers.

“Based on initial investigations, those involved can be charged under Section 10 of the Syariah Criminal Enactment 1995,” he said.

In an immediate response, a Jais official said the raid was justified.

“The public will soon know why we carried out the raid,” he said.

“But we can’t furnish details at the moment because it may jeopardise our investigation.” The official said they have submitted a report to the state government.

“We hope all quarters will stop speculating. Wait for the outcome of the investigation,” he said.

Exco man explains Jais raid

By Mazlinda Mahmood
KUALA LUMPUR: A Selangor state executive councillor said yesterday the state Islamic Religious Department (Jais) carried out the raid on Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC) on Wednesday night after it received a tip-off that Muslims were attending a function there.

Datuk Dr Hasan Mohamed Ali, who is state Muslim Affairs, Malay Customs, Infrastructure and Public Amenities Committee chairman, said there was evidence of “proselytising of Muslims by non-Muslims”.

During the 9pm raid, a speech was being delivered and the word, “Quran” was mentioned.
Hasan said the main organiser, believed to be a Muslim, had a discussion for nearly an hour with the head of the Jais operations, requesting the raid to be conducted after the function.

He added that nearing the end of the function, the Jais team with police officers conducted checks despite an attempt to stop them.

“The team found an attempt by some to escape through the back door of the premises, but managed to stop them,” he said in a statement.
Hasan said checks revealed that there were 12 Muslims at the function but no arrest was made.

They had, however, been told to appear at Jais’ enforcement division for investigations.

Based on preliminary investigations, those involved were liable to be charged under Section 10 of the Syariah Criminal Enactment 1995.
Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said Jais had been instructed to submit a full report on the raid.

He said the state government viewed the incident seriously and he had personally called DUMC’s senior pastor, Daniel Ho, to express his regrets.

“I told him that the state has instructed Jais to provide a full report detailing the incident, including their justification for their action that night.

“I hope to meet the pastor again once the report is completed.”

Meanwhile, DUMC is demanding action against Jais for trespassing and harassment.

In a statement yesterday, Ho recounted how a group of 20 to 30 Jais enforcement and police officers entered its premises at the Dream Centre in Petaling Jaya late on Wednesday night without a warrant and intimidated about 120 guests, including 15 Muslims, at its private dinner.

“They subjected all the guests at the thanksgiving dinner to undue harassment,” he said, adding that not all members of the enforcement group were in uniform and they had failed to produce a copy of the complaint when asked for the reason for the raid.

Ho stressed that the dinner was non-religious in nature, but was held to celebrate the work of non-profit organisation Harapan Komuniti in helping women, children, HIV/AIDS sufferers and victims of natural disasters.

Shah Alam member of parliament Khalid Samad also condemned Jais’ action and urged the department to apologise to the church.

“This is not right. They (Jais) cannot simply storm into a church or any other religious institution without getting their facts right.”

This admist fury amongst his Opposition partners-of-unholy-marriage-of-(in)conveniences-between-backstabbing-strange-bedfellows, Chinese Chauvinist DAP was on their usual tone and decibel level:

Church raid: Hasan’s defence of Jais an act of breaking ranks, says DAP

He said Jai’s “gatecrashing” of a multi-racial dinner at the Damansara Utara Methodist Church Wednesday night was deplorable, and detrimental to efforts to build an open, tolerant and harmonious plural Malaysian society.

The Mentri Besar’s swift response Thursday expressing regret was both timely and appropriate, Lim said in a statement Friday.

However, Lim added that the public defence of Jais’ action by Dr Hasan, the state exco member in charge of Islamic affars, was a matter of concern.

“It is an act of breaking ranks in the Selangor state government,” Lim said.

Meanwhile, president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Malaysia Dr Paul Tan Chee Ing called on Jais to furnish proof of the claim that there was proselytisation of Muslims at the dinner or apologise for its action.

Naturally, the Christians were fuming mad.

Read Berita Harian’s report on the case. There is an unnamed Muslim who has been attending all these meets, when he or she had financial difficulties. Amongst those who attended are single mothers.

12 Muslim didapati menghadiri majlis diselit perkataan al-Quran

(Pls read the hardcorpy of the story, pg 10 Friday 5 Aug 2011’s edition.

This is very serious.

Lets compare what happened in Damansara Utama to what happened at the Red Rock Hotel on MacAlister Road in Penang, on 5 May 2011. The scope and degree may be different but the magnitude of the problem and reaction was almost at the same temperature. In that event (which later was substantiated with the admission of then Jelutong DAP man Mohd. Razali A Rahman) that MP for Jelutong was at a dinner party where they vowed “To have a Christian as the Prime Minister” and eventually “Make Christianity as one of the official religion of Malaysia”.

That reporting created a controversy, almost to a point of dis-stability. Of course, the church leaders denied the vow was made.

However, where was Dr Hassan Ali in that controversy? If he believed the actions of his JAIS officers two nights ago, surely he would dare to voice his deep discern on how some of the zestful Pastors were alleged to make those vows. Interesting enough, Kulim-Bandar Bahru MP Dato’ Zulkifli Nordin also claimed that there were movements trying to displace Islam as the religion of the Federation of Malaysia.

PAS Commissioner Dr Hassan and DAP Ronnie Liu became 'friends' again, after the beer issue

For the record, this is not the first time Selangor PAS and DAP leaders went after each other. The issue of the sale of beers in a convenience store near to the State Mosque is still fresh in our minds. However, PAS comprised and they ‘settled’ the issue by burying it under the carpet somewhere.

Will the PAS Leadership stand behind Dr Hassan on this one, especially he is the PAS Selangor Commissioner? How will liberal PAS Leaders such as Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad and Khalid Awang, who are both MPs from Selangor react to all these?

Interesting enough, Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim immediate reaction was to ‘apologise’. He was quick to want to meet Senior Pastor Daniel Ho, to explain. Then again, when the situation was the other way around and deemed insulting to the Muslims and majority, did Selangor DAP Boss apologise for any of these:

1. DAP Seputeh MP Theresa Kok against the ‘azan’ issue

2. DAP Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching when she dressed inappropriately and spoke just infront of the Mimbar in her constituency during last year’s Ramadhan

3. Non Malay protesters which include Chinese and some DAP members rushed (some without taking of their footwears) into the Masjid Negara upon the Police taking action to disperse the mob, during the demonstration to submit the memorandum on the water issue to the Federal Government

There you go. Selangor PKR is very careful in taking care of the feelings for the minority Chinese but not the majority Malay Muslims. So many questions loom in the rakyat’s mind.Very interesting answers expected.

Now its time to shut-up, Khalid tells everyone in Selangor. It looks that they are desperate to do ‘damage control’:

Church raid: MB issues gag order, to seek Sultan’s advice

PETALING JAYA: The Selangor state government will seek the advice of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah to resolve the issue involving State Religious Department (Jais) officials raiding a multi-faith dinner held in a church on Wednesday.

Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said action on Jais will be determined after he has presented a report detailing the incident to the Sultan.

He has also ordered a gag on the issue on all state exco members.

“As soon as Jais gives (me) the report, I will seek an audience with the Sultan to obtain the advice of His Royal Highness to resolve this issue and to ensure that similar incidents do not reoccur.

“Until a decision has been made and the issue resolved, all state exco members are prohibited from making any statements relating to this incident,” Khalid said in a statement issued by his press secretariat Friday.

He also reiterated the state government’s regret over the incident.

“We are convinced that the people of Selangor felt their rights were not defended.

“Good intention and purpose do not justify actions that fail to exhibit justice and wisdom when leading the community,” said Khalid.

Situation is looking very bad for the Opposition-led Selangor State Government. And now, lets wait for the drama that shall precede from this point.

  1. it’s not about christians trying to proselytise Muslims. christians as muslims will always tried to do each other. it has been since christianity and islam exists. as a muslims, it’s all about why you were inside the church. for whatever reasons, you could always be at the vicinity not inside the church.
the act do warrant questions by the Muslims as the country religion is islam. i salute hassan ali but at the same time , again, hasan ali is not facing the christian community, but the wrath of the damansara chinese. and too bad mr hassan, you made pact with chauvinist DAP, you have to live with it. and no PAS ulama will help you this time. he he he.

i wonder what would happened if it was UMNO who was doing it. i think all the PAS ulama will defend the christians.

    • Islam existed and admired over centuries due to its tolerances as well. The JAIS incident does marred the action of inconsiderate nature of the action. Even to accuse a Muslim of a serious crime requires witnesses (at least 4), so the pro-active method is to question those Muslims who attended the event later.

We must remember, at the end of the day Allah SAW will pass judgement to eachindividually Muslim base on the good and bad deeds done while you’re still living on this planet. How Malays turns out today has much to do with upbringing and proper guidance. There is no problem at all even if a Muslim dines in a Church or a Temple. Even Prophet Muhammad told us to move with times but guided by the Al-Quran. In reality, we Muslims are at fault for not following the teachings of Islam. So…face facts

      • Are you sure you are Hisham a Malay or Ah Chong masquerading as a Malay. There are so many cases of masquerading I read about here and there in blogosphere. The dirty business of misleading information, disinformation, misinformation, propaganda, deceit and treachery that books about psychological warfare will tell us about.

Mind you, missionary activities and attempts at proselytizing have been going on in this country since the British colonial times. And the British used a lot of psywar tactics in winning the hearts and minds of the populace against the dastardly Communists during the period of Emergency.

Are you sure that Islam requires 4 witnesses or is it only in respect of zinna and rape.

Do read more, wider and reliable sources of information, man, and you’ll find that it’s not just a matter of upbringing and proper guidance. Read about what Big Dog publishes above and earlier on about the Christians in Red Rock Hotel in Penang.

  2. In that case Najib should be arrested by JAIS as well because meeting the Pope in Vantican which should be forbidden for the Muslim as well. In Malaysia we just have to admit that Muslim enforcement agency have the power to go into any places including other religion places to search and arrest without any warrant. They are not even required to give any excuse or reason as well to do that. This is the respect of Malaysian Muslim authority towards other religions. We just have to accept this.

    • Was there any arrest as implied by the 17:37 comment? Whatever made him try to be sarcastic about the “Muslim enforcement agency”?

He has such shallow thinking as to compare DS Najib’s meeting the Pope in the Vatican and the “reasons to believe” of proselytizing activity in the Damansara Utama Church.

    • Er, JAIS’ jurisdiction is confined to the borders of Selangor only. Does not extend to the Vatican. Lets just admit it. PR messed up big time. No shame in doing so. Don’t try to obfusticate the issue by dragging the PM and the country’s diplomatic relations with the Vatican. Better just admit it, say sorry, we pledge to do better bla-bla-bla and move forward. If you can do that, then you may be counted as honourable enough to lead.

And while I’m at it, If you cared to admit that governing a state, any state, let alone the entire country, isn’t as easy as you first thought it to be, then I’d consider you worthy of the mantle of leadership.

  3. Dr Hassan Ali might have wanted to be an astute politician. As he is a member of the Selangor Exco, he didn’t meddle in the Panang wanna-Christian-PM etc episode.

In Selangor, he stood his ground. Despite losing his Pesuruhjaya PAS Selangor post in the midst of others kow-towing to the DAP to the extent of dropping Negara Islam, he went on to stop any monkey business in respect of proselytizing Muslims. It’s much more serious than the Azan issue. In that respect he deserves praise.

But I’m more interested in what he’s doing to fend off such Erdogan as Khalid Samad, the one said to be an Anwarista, whose group was said to be influential over the Ulama group to get PAS drop the Negara Islam thing. More importantly, what he and his group (there were others who lost their posts in the aftermath of the last PAS Muktamar) is and will do to oust the Erdogan influence.

Perhaps Dr Hassan has the sympathy of many people. He has had a tough time fighting the gangsterish DAP Ronnie Liu over liquor sales ban etc. Now he has to contend with the likes of Khalid the PAS MP who represents Shah Alam, the area in which Dr Hassan confiscated liquor bottles some time back.

But I think he does gain a lot of support over the thwarting of the proselytizing affair. I hope the JAIS report will be made public after MB Khalid has presented it to the Sultan. It’d be interesting to know the details of the circumstances that led to the JAIS action on the very strange and unsavoury “breaking of the fast in a Church”.

    • PS:

I stand corrected on Dr Hassan’s Selangor PAS Commissioner’s post.

  4. It’s best if a neutral ground or venue be chosen to hold muhibbah-related gatherings that involved people from different faiths and religions. This can be held, say, in a community hall, hotels etc. This is to pre-empt any feeling of uneasiness or suspicion, even when something as innocuous as dinner, is held in a place of worship. These prople should know better.

  5. I think there might be a conspiracy to sabotage the state gov and at the same time Najib’s 1Malaysia as well.

    • Whatever it was, we certainly like to see trouble brewing in Pakatan Rakyat, hopefully splitting the coalition, driving a wedge further among the component parties, and between the Ulama’ and the Erdogan factions in PAS.

And BN must exploit the situation. DAP has been in the exploiting game all throughout its life. It’s “unpolitic” of BN not to fish in these troubled waters. Lim Kit Siang said it’s “breaking the ranks”. He was wrong – it’s “breaking the leadership”, as it involves the PAS Selangor Exco and PAS State Commissioner, PAS MP and Deputy State Commissioner, PKR MB, and no less than the DAP bossman himself has joined the fray by hitting at his own colleagues.

It’s a hideous and dirty job trying to proselytize Muslims anyway. They have no bloody regard for the Constitution which clearly states that Islam is “the religion” of the country. Parliamentary enactment states that it’s an offence to convert Muslims to any other faith. No one individual or party should disturb the status quo in the ratio of religious followers in the country.

These uncouth fellows must be told that religious crusades have disappeared into a bygone era. No such thing as using the term Allah and organizing the breaking of the Muslim fast in a Church. Those invited may have been ignorant, naive or unsuspecting but those organizing the event must have known the sinister motive because that must have been their motive. And it points to the DAP doing it because in Penang it was the DAP blokes who organized the MacAlister Road hotel connivance to push a completely unacceptable agenda of having a Muslim PM and Christianity as an official religion nonsense.

  6. Biggie,

Could you pls start a tongue & cheek campaign to demand for the incorrigible Pondan Home Minister to either:

Listen to the Police & act in accordance with the limits of the law with regards to internal security (which time & again hv been proven straight on the face)

Resign & let real man do what a man has got to do!

This lacklustre on his part has started to become a habit! Pls demand a public campaign before his Pondaness becomes incurable!

    • I support this, Sir. Though I think the target should be higher than the Minister of Home Affairs. I believe that the man, apart from lacking in political shrewdness himself, has also been mindful of and catering to the wishes of the cousin.

I think it’s either this increasingly-becoming-obvious desire to win the votes of the non-Malays or a personal desire to be “liberal” by adopting half-hearted measures like done during Tun Dol’s rule that cost him the 2/3 majority.

They must realize that no one is liberal if he does not see the need for unity, for all citizens to respect and live by the Constitution for long term peace and progress in the country. At best, he is pseudo-liberal if he thinks of leaving a legacy of being liberal in a multi-racial country where one-upmanship and racism has been the order of the day among such parties as the DAP.

The fear is that realizing that may come too late. Already many of those disenchanted with the Pakatan Rakyat that they voted for out of frustration with Tun Dol at PRU12 are not happy with the lack of firm and stern action on various anti-national, seditious and even subversive acts, including those that led to and during the illegal Bersih rally, a flagrant and wanton disrespect of the law by some 6,000 fellows. Many of those arrested should have been detained long enough to drive home the point that it does not pay to break laws in this country.

The Police have all the laws enacted by Parliament since Merdeka, including the ISA detention without trial, which, after all, even the USA practices in Guantanamo Bay. I urge the political masters to let them a free hand to handle the maintenance of peace and order, like the PM was reported to have said when he was in Sabah before the illegal Bersih rally, and to follow through what has been said so that the authorities would not have to concern themselves with political but only security considerations when making decisions like on the rally.

Proselytizing Muslims is a serious matter. Let the authorities investigate to the fullest and let the results be made public, irrespective of whether it’d be to the detriment of PR and to the benefit of BN, or not. In the event that the PR led JAIS investigation results will be hushed up or no further action taken, the Federal authorities should step in to ensure no recurrence in the future.

  7. ” … after all, even the USA practices in Guantanamo Bay.”

Oh dear me, this guy’s Qiblah is Washington (?!?) and I presume he is a Muslim (?!?).

    • What a warped and demented mind this fella has. And using such word as Qiblat. A Kafir not knowing even what a Qiblat is. Yet wanting to refer Muslims to Qiblat in Washington.

Oooops, I forgot. His name punk means rubbish. Very often he comes in here to live up to his name.

And to instill dislike and hate among Malaysians. Claiming to have handled “big projects”. What a shame.

We must abuse him every time he he tries to abuse us. That’s the only name of the game he plays. And two can play the same game.

  8. In the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadhan, today I share with you my personal constitution which I use to chart my own life and thinking.

When Imam Ali (as) was asked about Faith in Religion, he replied that the structure of faith is supported by four pillars: endurance, conviction, justice and jihad.

Endurance is composed of four attributes: eagerness, fear, piety and anticipation (of death). so whoever is eager for Paradise will ignore temptations; whoever fears the fire of Hell will abstain from sins; whoever practices piety will easily bear the difficulties of life and whoever anticipates death will hasten towards good deeds.

Conviction has also four aspects: to guard oneself against infatuations of sin; to search for explanation of truth through knowledge; to gain lessons from instructive things; and to follow the precedent of the past people, because whoever wants to guard himself against vices and sins will have to search for the true causes of infatuation and the true ways of combating
them out and to find those true ways one has to search them with the help of knowledge, whoever gets fully acquainted with various branches of knowledge will take lessons from life and whoever tries to take lessons from life is actually engaged in the study of the causes of rise and fall of previous civilizations.

Justice also has four aspects: depth of understanding, profoundness of knowledge, fairness of judgment and dearness of mind; because whoever tries his best to understand a problem will have to study it, whoever has the practice of studying the subject he is to deal with, will develop a clear mind and will always come to correct decisions, whoever tries to achieve all this will have to develop ample patience and forbearance and whoever does this has done justice to the cause of religion and has led a life of good repute and fame.

Jihad is divided into four branches: to persuade people to be obedient to Allah; to prohibit them from sin and vice; to struggle (in the cause of Allah) sincerely and firmly on all occasions and to detest the vicious. Whoever persuades people to obey the orders of Allah provides strength to the believers; whoever dissuades them from vices and sins humiliates the unbelievers; whoever struggles on all occasions discharges all his obligations and whoever detests the vicious only for the sake of Allah, then Allah will take revenge on his enemies and will be pleased with Him on the Day of Judgment.

    • Hooi you SOG. You are a non-Muslim, don’t you ever dare talk about your “own constitution”. You don’t even respect the Constitution of this country which states that Islam is “the religion” of Malaysia.

You Google here and there and you start preaching to Muslims here about conviction, jihad etc. How crude you are. How abominable.

You have been asked in the previous post whether you are a Muslim, or a non-Muslim masquerading as a Muslim here, and you have not replied. You are therefore deemed a non-Muslim. A Christian at that. You are dangerous to society, masquerading with evil design, misleading and deceiving people. Claiming to be handling “big projects” when your projects are likely to be proselytizing Muslims. What a bloke you are.

  9. I don’t think Muslims in Malaysia aka Malays should ever be 10 feet near a church or better still, near a christian.

As we all know ( i.e according to JAIS, JAKIM etc) the Malays can be easily confused and since they are quite weak , they can be manipulated by the Christians.

    • Hahaha I like your sense of humor. Yup, the Malay masses can be confused lot except the knowledgeable of course.

When I was in the US, I was told by our Muslim seniors that they used to offer Friday prayers at a borrowed space at a church. The church didn’t mind it at all. Later, donors bought a large house and converted it into a Muslim prayer house.

By sheer coincidence I think I picked it up at Huffingtonpost which co-hosted a hilarious clip of Comedy Central (segment hosted by Asif Mandvi) about a church which allowed Muslims to use its space for Friday prayers. A Xtian protagonists assured that Muslims would never allow Xtians to pray at their prayer places. The clip caught its climax when it went to Michigan (I think) and showed a Muslim Imam who said Xtians are welcomed to use their prayer place if Xtians desire to do so.

Man that was hilarious! Check it out!

Malays should also reflect back about the incident of Mubahila when the Xtian Najran visited the Prophet’s mosque. You wouldn’t believe what the Xtians did there. They came in an entourage with bells and sang in the mosque. Hallelujah babe! Some (ignorant) so-called “companions” wished to kick the hell out of these Xtians from the mosque. The Prophet (pbuh&hf) forbade them from doing so. Moral 1: wisdom of Prophets are always higher than the people they lead. Moral 2: wisdom of some people who lead think their wisdom is higher than those they think they lead. LOL.

Imagine if an unkempt Hindu dervish were to stray into a compound of a Malay mosque seeking help or spiritual devotion. I think he would have chased at the gate.

This is the Malayness and the Islam they understand.

      • This is another strong indication of your non-Muslim, probably Christian, “constitution”. Outright sneering of Muslims which fellow Muslims would not do.

I don’t think you have been to the US. Claiming all sorts like I said in my comment above.

Moral 1: wisdom of people who pretend to handle big projects, been to US, talk about high-flutin’ stuff is reflected by what this punk says. 2: wisdom of punk is defined by the dictionary: rubbish.

      • punk5terung
…..Imagine if an unkempt Hindu dervish were to stray into a compound of a Malay mosque seeking help or spiritual devotion. I think he would have chased at the gate….

You must have imagined through own experience?

We saw an unkempt Hindu sleeping under a van parked along a busy road, next to a Merc/belongs to Indian Doc, whose clinic is just in front of his car. It was 9:30 in the morning.

An Indian lady sweeper, each morning will sweep our area..when I enquired, she lightly brushed… MESTI MABUK PUNYA ORANG TUA.. and went on doing her usual.

However, those who came out to help was us Malays, he could not even speak a word of Malay. We were trying to get his relatives or address, he looked blank. So we called the Police. Soon, someone came with bottled drink.. He looked lost and hungry.. very sickly..

A crowd of other Malays came forward. Another went to buy, and later spoon fed him with rice. When police arrived, they in turn contacted the Welfare..

In the meanwhile another Malay went home and brought back a pair of clean clothes… helped him change, the old, dirty smelly and torn ones. Another went across to 99speedMart and bought him a slipper (he was not using one). Let me tell you, one wet a face towel to help clean his face… he was a real sorry sight, probably in his late 70’s..

The Police stayed until they got the instructions etc… everyone helped the poor Indian man into the Police car… thats it..

Don’t imagine the unimaginable… The Doctor, almost 2hours, did not even come out of his clinic to check!! He was an Indian Doctor..

Jangan pandang hina dengan Muslim Malays..

        Thank you.

      • PS.. Just to add; The three who helped buy drinks, food and wipe his face are committee members of our Kampung Masjid, including me.

        Than you.

      • LOL. Of course it was my imagination!

I merely wrote a scenario to show you in essence and context how the Malay masses are light years away from the true, intellectual essence of Islam and how Malays are easily played away by political goons.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hf) and Imam Ali (as) worked and inter-mingled with pagans in their effort to preach Islam. In Malaysia, any such likeness can be turned into political footballing, if the opportunity arise to leverage on it.

Kudos for your effort to put Islam into practice. If the so-called 3M party member go to the ground as you did, we would sure win hearts and minds. Yeah, like it gonna happen.

This Muslim-Xtian stories are actually planted events by those in power to lure Malays into their fold. That is the crux of the story. I pity the Selangor MB having to drag himself into the matter by his own man. His productivity could have been put into better use for the betterment of Selangorians.

The police said they would investigate the Penang case. Until today people are still harping where the report is. If there is, please update me.

      • punk5terung,
Theres nothing to LOL about! My father was an estate manager and for over 35yrs I was brought up in many estate where majority are Indians. Our Amah, gardener and gatekeeper are all Indian. His assistants/Mandors are majority Indians.

I can write a book on minute experiences, seeing with my own eyes how they treated their own, may they be young or old. SO PLEASE PLEASE, clean your own backyard before throwing fantasies and imaginations on to others.

        Thank you.

      • OK Ina, if my stance have perturbed your psyche in any way, I sincerely apologize. I trust that your story is real and will be duly noted.

p.s I just do not why, when I read your ID “Ina” I turned dyslexic and read it as “Isa”. I smacked the back of my head into soberness. It can’t be Isa! Isa never had anything good to say.

      • Ina,

        I only wanna say, Encore.

      • Haha punk,

Of course I have nothing good to say to you or about you. Because I rubbish you. Because you do say rubbish often. You masquerade. You even chose a name that means rubbish. What a fella.

Been to US, eh? Handled big projects, eh?

Proselytizing projects, innit? You at the Damansara Utama church that night?

    • bodoh,

It has already been suggested that you keep typing your name as bodoh, period.

  11. This is my personal experience.

When I was in a pre-tertiary institution, a chinese christian classmate offered to show me a rich man’s house with a swimming pool. She promised that the mansion is huge and spacious. I was of course too curious to refuse. We entered a huge gate and walked into a cosy living room.

We sat down at the sofa set and a man welcomed us and told us to relax, close our eyes and hold hands with everybody (about 7 of us). He then played the piano and sang some songs which sounded haunting and mesmerising.

After several minutes, we were told to open our eyes and drink. When i opened my eyes, there were wine glasses filled with a red liquid and a green olive. The sight of that strange drink jolted me into sanity.

I then asked my classmate if she is going to show me around the house. My classmate did not answer and one of the others told me to be patient and drink first. I said that I would not drink that strange concoction.

I then realise that this is not an innocent gathering. I put on my shoes and walked out and escaped by the gate.

I discovered that that red drink is holy communion drink that represents Jesus Christ’s blood.

So never brush aside their efforts at proselytizing Muslims because I know of young Muslims who have converted into christians and attaching middle names too.
