Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Welcome 2012.

2011 was a relatively a very active and roller coaster year for most of us.

Blog House Malaysia was formed in February. The First Malaysia-ASEAN Regional Bloggers’ Conference (1MARBC) was held in Kuala Lumpur on 23 April. On 24 April, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak reaffirmed Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s policy when Multimedia Super Corridor was incepted, of “Guarantee of no censorship”, in a luncheon organized by Blog House Malaysia to commemorate the 1MARCBC.

Blog House Malaysia also launched a special purpose fund to help the plight of a blogger, Blogger-to-Blogger-for-Kerp. That inspired Multimedia College students to organize a fund campaign to assist the B2B=Kerp fund. The final count so far is RM 25,457.34.

Utusan Malaysia Saturday 7 May 2011, based on BigDpgDotCom's 6 May 2011 posting

We were in Singapore observing what turned out to be a landmark election for the city-state when this blog created a national controversy with the ‘Red Rcok Hotel’ event on the evening of 6 May, where a group of Christian priests vowed to have a Christian as the Prime Minister and Christianity be made as one of the ‘official religion’. A week after we published that, some one who attended the event, DAP  member in Jelutong  Mohd Razali Abdul Rahman corroborated the story with his Police report in Penang.

Malay Bibles are some the evidence found amongst the Malay Muslim at DUMC on Wednesday 3 Aug 2011

More controversies against this group of minority, within the Christian community. on 3 Aug, JAIS went to Damansara Utama Methodist Church in Section 3 Petaling Jaya and found there was an event to protelyze 12 Muslims, guised as a “Buka Puasa event”. This discovery proven the fact that MB Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim is a puppet of DAP-PKR Non Muslim leaders when the former apologized to Sr Pastor Daniel Ho on JAIS’s investigation on the Wednesday night, even without getting the full report from JAIS.

For the record, Sr Pastor was very reluctant to co-operate with JAIS to facilitate the investigation of the protelyzation of Muslims under the auspices of DUMC.

Let us not talk about the drama that was staged, before, during and post Opposition sponsored BERSIH 2.0 illegal demonstrated, which proven the ability of Opposition leaders’ tendency and capability of drama and lies. Later during Ramadhan, PAS Deputy President Mohamad Sabu proclaimed the lie about communist terrorist Mat Indera being the real hero of the attack on Bukit Kepong Police station on 23 Feb 1950. He is now being tried under sedition law.

Khazanah Holdings Bhd was sucked into doing a share-swap between Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia, where no one could really justify the beef for Malaysia Airlines, in a lopsided corporate deal which is being seen as the devouring of the tier-1 premium airliner and saw Tony Fernandes wiggled his way into the national carrier.

On the eve of the 48th Malaysia Day, Prime Minister Najib announced that the draconian Internal Security Act (ISA) would be replaced by two new anti terrorist laws. The Police Act provisions on public assembly and University and University College Act provisions for students to be active in politics would be reviewed and Press and Printing Act would be repealed.

We at BigDogDotCom would like to express our utmost sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support the bloggers, cybersphere readers and surfers extended to this blog. You are our inspiration to do better for 2012.

The Malaysian Insider's apology to Tajudin Ramli, NST 7 Oct 2011

News portal Malaysian Insider was proven to lie and slander when they had to take ads in NST and Berita Harian and apologized publicly to former Malaysia Airlines Chairman Tan Sri Tajudin Ramli for their sinister report of RM 8 billion losses under the father of Celcom’s watch. It was a landmark act by a news portal, after Tajudin Sued MI, Editor Jahabar Sadiq and writer Syazwan for RM 200 million. We also wish all the best for Malaysia’s premier blog-aggregator/commentary portal The Mole for 2012.

God bless to all and may 2012 be a productive year for Malaysia and Malaysians.
