When will DAP leaders make a Police report against Nasharuddin Mat Isa?

Personaliti gereja dan DAP yang terlibat dalam majlis Red Rock Hotel pada 5 Mei 2011 dikenal pasti

On 7 May last year, the nation was shocked when Utusan Malaysia featured a front page story about BigDogDotCom’s 6 May posting on the 5 May 2011 meet in Red Rock Hotel in Macalister Road, Gerogetown, Pulau Pinang. DAP Jelutong MP and DAP Jelutong DAPSY Chief Ong Ah Tiong with several pastors “Vowed to make Christianity the ‘Official Religion’ of Malaysia and put a Christian the next Prime Minister”.

Utusan Malaysia Saturday 7 Mei 2011

On 8 May, DAP MP for Jelutong made a Police report against the blogger BigDogDotCom. The nation was rumbling with this controversy.

Five days later, a Jelutong DAP member Mohd Razali Abdul Rahman stepped up and made a Police report in North East Pulau Pinang Police to claim that “What was reported in Utusan Malaysia and blogs, were true. I was there and this did happen”.

Today, almost seventeen months after it happened, PAS leaders are now openly talking about what they vowed in the hotel on Macalister Road.

DAP leaders were very quick to react. They quickly issued a statement threatened to make a Police report against Nasharuddin, a fellow Pakatan Rakyat MP.

DAP duo to lodge report against Nasharuddin

KUALA LUMPUR: Two prominent DAP leaders will lodge a police report against former Pas deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa for alleging that DAP held a thanksgiving function to pray for Malaysia to become a Christian state.

DAP Sarawak chairman Wong Hoi Leng and secretary Chong Chieng Jen said they were “disgusted” with Nasharuddin’s statement.

However, they did not give an exact time frame when they would lodge the report.

“After the Sarawak elections (last year), DAP held victory and thanksgiving dinners in Kuching, Sibu, Sarikei, Bintangor, Bintulu and Miri.

“It is unbelievable that Nasharuddin did not even identify the event where the alleged prayer was made,” he said at the Parliament lobby here yesterday.

The duo said the thanksgiving was held merely to thank party members and volunteers who had worked in the state election and was not religious in nature.

“We had also invited Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Pas state leaders to attend the event.”

DAP also urged Nasharuddin to withdraw his allegations unconditionally and called upon the police to probe into the alleged remark.

Nasharuddin’s statement was also criticised by fellow Pas member, Shah Alam member of parliament Khalid Samad.

“Nasharuddin’s statement is ridiculous.

” He did not inform us about his remark in any of Pas’ meetings,” Khalid said.

“I question his motive in making the statement,” said Khalid adding that Nasharuddin has begun to ‘estrange’ himself from the party.

He said that Nasharuddin’s fate would be left to the discretion of the Pas Syura Council.

“What he said about DAP is his personal opinion and PAS does not share his sentiments.”

  1. What the heck … wasting the Police time, wanting to make publicity and all.

Where got false accusation when Jelutong DAP member Mohd Razali Abdul Rahman dared to make a Police report saying “What was reported in Utusan Malaysia and blogs, were true. I was there and this did happen”.

And did they deny Mohd Razali was not there? Noooo, they didn’t.

The fact that the authorities did not take action re the Sedition Act, the laws pertaining to Islam as “the religion of the country” etc, does not mean that their nasty and mischievous intentions are allowable.

They must not take advantage of that, be responsible citizens and maintain inter-religious harmony in the country.

    • Yes, last time DAP MP for Jelutong made a Police report against BigDogDotCom. And Jelutong DAP member Mohd Razali Abdul Rahman made a Police report saying “What was reported in Utusan Malaysia and blogs, were true.”

But this time I don’t mind if DAP makes a Police report against Nasha. Then all their evil design will come out, publicized, for the public to read. The Constitution says Islam is the religion of the country, but they want Christianity as an official religion nonsense. How dare they. Mengarut.

  2. Nasha should be commended for speaking up for his principled religious beliefs. The 2 factions in PAS are contradicting each other. PAS has to make a clear stand on its Islamic goals and not keep shifting their posts just to accommodate DAP and PKR.

At least Nasha and Hassan Ali have shown their spines.

    • And Khalid Samad has no spines. Bending to the wishes of Anwar Al Juburi (pangkat Mat Sabu beri). And he needs to be careful. Bending at the wrong time and with the wrong posture, he’ll get …

  3. Tuan BIG DOG

Please read Helen’s latest blog entry. In there she reproduced Lim Gian Eng’s tweets calling BN, UMNO and Utusan Melayu (and ths by extension) the majority of the Melayu MORONS.

The meaning of MORON is a stupid person. As a medical term, it denotes an adult with a mental age of about 8–12. Lim Guan Eng is clearly INSULTING us by calling us MORONS. This twit is abusing US by referring to us, the proud people who had worked with the Chinese and Indians to make Malaysia into a model country today.

It is TIME we, via your blog raise a signature campaign to DEMAND Lin Guan Eng APOLOGISE to the Malays in Malaysia.

    Thank you SIR.

    Economist Kampong

    • If got gut, please make police report against Lim la, MORON!

      • Police report this, police report that, moronic issue also ask to make police report! But when policemen doing their duty, the pakatams whacked them left and right.

What la, i think you the moron maa. Btw, how long must that Karpal fella take to make police report or summon Nasha to court? He got no gut also aar?

      • Yes we Malays have GUTS. We have brains too. But most of all, we have TAMADDUM and ADAB too. I don’t think we can say the same about you DAPspers and PAS fanatics

      • Adding to Economist Kampung’s comment:

Yes, we have tamadun. And we have adab. And DAP Vice President Tunku Aziz said as he was bolting out of the party: Lim Guang Eng BIADAP – no adab.

Malays have proven they got guts since a long time ago. When necessary, even kerissed and speared to death the first British Resident to Perak, JWW Birch, along the banks of the Perak River at Pasir Salak in 1875.

Damn necessary because the British began to colonize us and Birch wanted to start collecting taxes on the produce that was the blood, sweat and tears of the Malays.

I can write yards about the secret societies, thugs and gangsters brought to Perak by the Hai Sans and the Ghee Hins – probably the ancestors of the idiot calling himself Malaysian. But suffice for now.

  4. When DAP thru the now very cocky Jeff Ooi made a police report against you Big Dog, they only berlakun.

It wasn’t about any claim of falsehood in your story of Red Rock but a sentence claiming this could cite anger in the magnitude of May 13.

    They won’t dare do it.

  5. Notice that it’s always DAP that makes noise here, there and everywhere. And it’s the DAP pendatangs. In Sarawak and Sabah, the Christians are largely the locals. But these pendatangs who may not even be Christians are the ones complaining this and that.

Like the DAP Sarawak chairman Wong Hoi Leng and secretary Chong Chieng Jen. They may not be Christians – they don’t carry Christian names. But sure they’d fish in troubled waters. They’d exploit each and every possible opportunity to gain political mileage.

And used strong language, too. Reported to have said they were “disgusted” with Nasharuddin’s statement. In fact, they are exploiting and instigating the sentiments of the local Christians. Their kind did that sort of things in the Semenanjong and sparked the race riots of 1969.

Nasha has been a responsible Opposition leader. Not known to be acting or talking the way DAP leaders do. When he said those, he must have some basis. And those DAP MPs acknowledged that there were many thanksgiving dinners in Kuching, Sibu, Sarikei, Bintangor, Bintulu and Miri.

I don’t mind the DAP making a Police report. I’d like to see them shamed and condemned for doing what Nasha said they did. Insensitive to the Constitutional Clause stating Islam is the religion of the country.

  6. Tuan Big Dog

A few year ago, we were shocked by one Brother Benjamin. His video, that clearly insulted Islam and our Prophet Muhamad PBUH, went viral on you tube.

If there is one thing the Malay Muslims can be proud of, is not only our tolerance is unsurpassed, but also our extreme sensitivity and respect for other religion has no parallel.

For we know what the Quranic Verse Al-kafiruun demands of us. The last ayat in that surah ” to you your religion, and to me my religion” is what we have practiced and observed, ever since peoples of different religion and beliefs, set foot on our beloved soil – the Persekutuan Tanah Melayu.

Naturally we were very angry at what Brother Benjamin did. We did not deserve to be insulted like that. We demanded serious actions to be taken.

The Government told us they would. It had been more than 2 years now, what ever happened to Brother Benjamin? Is he an active clown in the Sarawak DAP’s circus?

Please do some checking. It would be good to know where Brother Benjamin is now and what mischief is he up to now.

    Than you
