Psycho pitching for power

Letter from HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor to MB Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim informing about the sacking of the five Excos

Letter from HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor  dated 12 August 2014to MB Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim informing about the sacking of the five Excos

In the desperate attempt to recover a failed political coup d’etat which ended with the sacking of five Selangor State Govt Excos from PKR and DAP two days ago, it is believed that Opposition Leader is pitching to get PAS ADUNs to crossover and support PKR and DAP in the Selangor State Assembly.

A few days before Court of Appeal in January decided against KL High Court acquittal for Sodomy II, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim announced that MB Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim would be removed and the former was to stand in as an ADUN and immediately take over.

However, instead he was convicted and thus the plan to ascend as MB Selangor went down the gutter.

Hence, PKR Director of Strategy Rafizi Ramli deviced “The Kajang Move” pitted PKR President Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the candidate for DUN25 Kajang by-election upon the summary resignation Lee Shien Cheh.

After winning with comfortable majority, Wan Azizah never got to assume the MB Selangor despite the so-called ‘Leadership’ of PKR decided so.

MB Khalid ignored even the PKR Leadership Council decided that had to leave and make way for Wan Azizah. As a result, PKR Disciplinary Board Chairman Dato’ Dr Tan Kee Kwong issued him a showcause letter with trumped up charges, of which have no relevance to his post and role as the MB Selangor.

Five days later, PKR Leadership Council sacked him as a party member. It was later ruled by HRH Sultan of Selangor that the sacking of Khalid from PKR has no bearing on his post and role as MB Selangor and wanted the latter to continue carrying out his duties.

PAS, which had been a partner in the Unholy-marriage-of-(in)convenience-between-backstabbing-strange-bedfellows since April 2008 when the ‘Political Tsunami’ of 12GE happened on 8 March 2008 and saw BN lost majority in five states and 2/3 control of Parliament, threw 100% support for Khalid to stay on as MB despite PKR and DAP sternly wanted him out.

UMNO, which is the Opposition in the Selangor State Assembly since 12GE, threw unconditional support for Khalid to continue as MB Selangor, for the sake of stable and smooth administration of Selangor State Government and rakyat of Selangor’s interest. That is inline of the BN ‘1Malaysia’ concept where rakyat comes first.

Despite being partyless, Khalid enjoys PAS’s 15 ADUN and UMNO’s 12 ADUN support which translate to DAP and PKR do not have the pleasure of being a majority party in Selangor State Assembly.

As such, HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah ruled that Khalid should remain as MB Selangor and had his full confidence.

On Monday 14  August 2014, Khalid took Wan Azizah and Dr Tan to court who the wrongful and defective dismissal from PKR a day earlier.

Majority of the Selangor State Government Excos, who are representing PKR and DAP rebelled against MB Khalid and stood by their party stance to want  the ADUN Pelabuhan Klang to be ousted. As such, MB Khalid sacked Elizabeth Wong, V Ganabathirao, Daroyah Ali, Tang Cheng Kim and Ean Yong from their respective Exco posts.

Yesterday, MB Khalid produced a letter from HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah dated 12 August 2014 for the consent to the sack five Selangor State Govt Excos representing PKR and DAP with immediate effect.

Former-abuse-of-power-convict Anwar is believed trying to induce individual PAS ADUNs to come and support his failed ‘Kajang Move’ so that he can prove that his wife Wan Azizah who is now ADUN Kajang has the majority support of Selangor State Assembly.

This is no mystery at all since Anwar did this once, exactly six years ago when he tried to coax and create a hype that “31 BN MPs are with him, thus he wants to present himself to His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong XIII that he has majority support of Dewan Rakyat and should be made the Prime Minister”.

This is an obviously psychopathic failed politician who is now on the way out of mainstream politics for good, but also be put away from society for the come of committing sodomy for the second time when the Federal Court uphold the Court of Appeal decision.

  1. “Crossover” might be an exaggeration. There would be serious ramifications for any political grouping (BN or Pakatan) where an individual party stands against the majority in a vote. Sadly, PKR (again) failed to get all its support in place across the coalition before acting. Maybe this is because they think they are equivalent to UMNO, whereas they are currently more like the glue between PAS and DAP. Even if Pakatan remains together (I.e. PAS folds and accepts Khalid’s replacement), the damage is done and will have created rifts that will see the end of Pakatan.

  2. The Vampire strikes back! PKR is surviving on a shoe string and will also drag DAP to the ground. PAS is smarter and I believe will go all out to support TS Khalid. Khalid should play his cards well and he will be politically stronger if he joins PAS. If I were Khalid, I will definitely join PAS ASAP to enhance my political carrier! Fortunately, I am a faithfully UMNO member and supporter. HaHa….

  3. The drama in Selangor is totally unnecessary but wherever AI is around drama develops. Some people have so much time on their hands, so much so destabilising the Selangor govt is to them like a political pastime. It is this irresponsible nature of this pastime that has thrown the interests of the rakyat down the cesspit. The leadership of Khalid Ibrahim as MB Selangor is characterised by pragmatism that sidesteps bureaucracy and redtape and the willingness to work with the Federal Govt on matters such as water resources and supply. Unfortunately PKR sees that as an affront to its ‘ badge of honour’ never to cooperate with BN. But of course that principle of non cooperation reflects the autocratic and dynastic nature of PKR. Its partner the DAP is willing to play the destabilising role together with PKR, whilst PAS is a party divided and is afraid to let go of the Pakatan links for reasons as ambivalent as ambivalent can be. In other words its support for Khalid is only because his alternative is Wan Azizah. Apart from that PAS’s support for Khalid is likely to remain loose and unreliable. The drama in Selangor is MB Khalid vs the whole of Pakatan political machinery. Khalid stands very much alone and it is his tenacity to clash his light saber with Pakatan that has treated him really badly that has gained much respect from the rakyat in Selangor. His fate still hangs in a balance and from the look of it, he is very much alone. There are very few good men in politics and Khalid Ibrahim is one of them. Also a reliable CEO of Selangor with the people’s interest at heart. Alas he probably doesn’t realise Pakatan politics is full of themselves.

  4. Not sure whether the psycho will get the power. Even in Selangor.

TS Khalid has said until they can prove their majority in a vote of no confidence IN THE DUN SELANGOR, his government will continue.

The psycho had his wife sent to the Sultan 30 statutory declarations supporting her by the ADUNs. But, even if the Sultan wishes to take into account of such an “extraneous” factor as the Sultan of Perak did on PAS Nizar’s case in 2008, it would take considerable time to verify the validity of those declarations.

Especially if such declarations are made in front of Commissioners of Oaths. There are all kinds of such Commissioners and the list is a long one. Even if all the declarations are attested by lawyers, they still need to be verified as not all lawyers have the powers of Commissioners of Oaths and there are many kinds of lawyers, too, including those who have been charged with criminal offenses.

And the Sultan is reported to have left for overseas for 2 weeks. And the next mandatory sitting of DUN Selangor is for the Budget session in November. If things can happen in a matter of days as in the case of the 2 PAS ADUNs katak lompating, more things can happen in 3 months between now and the November DUN sitting. Including Khalid asking the Sultan to dissolve the State Assembly and snap elections held within 60 days after that.

And many people have been saying the rakyat of Selangor have become fed up of Pakatan.

    • This is a copy of Lafaz Baiah for PAS election candidates, which I believe also used by those two PAS ADUNs:

      (Capitalisation is my own)

So, obviously I cannot wait to see what will happen to these two PAS ADUNs who defied their party official position on the matter and threw their public support for Anwar’s wife. It really shows what kind of people who actually become PAS members and supporters. I’m not surprised when DAP politicians started to wear tudungs, visit masjids, distribute kurma and use ‘Insya-Allah’ and other Islam-related strategies, because obviously they learned how to do it from PAS.

      Semua muka tak tahu malu.

      • The bigger concern is when PAS ADUNs. like the two katak lompat, misbehaved. DAP fellows are known as incorrigible and PKR ones, like the sodomite, have no principles.

With these kinds of politicians around, politics simply go down the gutter in this country. And worst of all is that they accuse others of the very things they are unashamedly doing. Cakap tak serupa bikin.

  5. A lot depends on the PAS meeting on 17 August. If what Hadi, Nik Aziz and others want – Khalid allowed to continue as MB – is endorsed at the meeting, it’ll be status quo at the Selangor State Secretariat, the seat of the Selangor government. If not, Khalid will have no choice but to advise the Sultan to dissolve the State Assembly. Even the 4 PAS Exco members have said they’ll abide by the party decisions.

Question is: what will be the outcome of the 17 August PAS meeting? Perhaps right now even PAS people may not know. There must be intense lobbying among the PAS factions. And even lobbying by people outside PAS. Like those in PKR and DAP. Lim Guan Eng lambasting even the PAS Exco member and former PAS Youth Chief. And I’m not saying about those in BN.

The next question is: who will win in the event of snap elections? I’m encouraged by the fact that the PRK Kajang showed reduced majority for the PKR candidate and the PRK Teluk Intan ended in the DAP candidate losing. I hope to God that Pakatan will be out of Selangor. I just want water to bathe regularly and no Pakatan blokes to sabotage the Langat II project to bring water from Pahang into Selangor.

  6. Some where, some people are plotting desperately what should they do next to avoid Anugerah Tuhan to take his (deservedly) long vacation.

    • Did anybody say “permanent” vacation? I’d support that, too.

What does it mean? I’ll tell you after PAS Aug 17 decision.
