Laporan portal pro-PKR Malaysiakini:

12:26PM – 27 Feb 2015

‘Izinkan Anwar minum teh bersama Agong’

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim perlu dibenarkan menghadiri sidang Dewan Rakyat bulan depan, termasuk menghadiri majlis minum petang diraja bersama Yang di-Pertuan Agong selepas acara pembukaan, kata anaknya.

***************

  1. Bila dia cakap berhemah, tak masalah. Tapi ada laporan akhbar yang kata Naib Presiden PKR Surendran marah DS Ahmad Zahid, mengata “he must not beat about the bush” berkaitan kebenaran bagi Anwarul Al Juburi menghadziri Parlimen di bulan Mac dan mengata AZ “mesti” membuat keputusan berkenaan dengan nya, bukan Peguam Negara.

Di sahut dek Nurul Izzah, juga mengatakan Ahmad Zahid “must”. Macam biadap saja.

    • Haaaaah, now we are seeing some sense from PKR. From their lawyer and Vice President Surendran. ‘Let the Attorney-General decide on Anwar at Parliament sitting,’ said he.

Two factors, he said. Am not interested in the 1st one but the 2nd factor is whether the Home Ministry has the power to allow a sitting MP who is jailed to be released to attend the sittings and return to prison.

“The Home Ministry has the power to do so if they want to approve it. It is as simple as that. There is no need for such complications in quoting the Federal Constitution and other laws to prove a case against this,” he said in response to critics questioning the request.

On Thursday, Home Minister Ahmad Zahid said any decision on whether Anwar Ibrahim would be allowed to attend Parliament sittings must be made by the Attorney-General’s Chambers only.

Such a decision, Surendran said, will be made by the A-G after taking into consideration all relevant laws and the Constitution.

“I appeal to everyone to stop giving their individual views and leave the matter to the A-G,” he was quoted as saying. Anwar’s former lawyer Zulkifli Noordin had walloped them in his blog post, quoting the Constitution etc. I hope that’s what fellow lawyer Surendran was referring to. Nurul Izzah, not a lawyer, may have to shut up. I like.

Me? Not lawyer but would sure continue to quote the Constitution. And quote the Constitutional law expert like Dr Rais Yatim.

Sondol Saiful pulak, Mahkamah Federal Sodomi II dah buat keputusan, tak mahu terima pulak. Tak hormat proses undang undang, anarkis ke?

Dah masuk penjara, nak itu ini pulak. Nak merayu pun tak mahu sign surat, takut di anggap mengaku salah, anak bini pulak yang sign surat rayuan. Apa ni?

YDP Agong belom buat keputusan di atas rayaun tu, ngapa nak bising pulak? Tak habis habis nak buat hal, nak eksploitasi setiap keadaan. Dah nak gila gamaknya.

Anwar mesti membayar harga perbuatan jenayahnya.

Saya sanggup menulis berkajang kajang panjang nya.

  5. The Malaysian authorities need to learn from Indonesia’s Jokowi who stood firm against Aussie PM.

This peliwat tua is a third-time sodomy offender – not to mention the chinadoll episode. As a criminal, he must not be given a separate and distinct preferential treatment.

  6. Sir Big Dog,

Is this the same family that was so defiant of HRH Sultan of Selangor decree during the Selangor crisis? And now they say that having tea with YDP Agong is a privilege and honour that cannot be missed. What a load of contradiction.

My advise to the First Family of PKR is that they stop using their supporters to serve their personal agenda. It cannot be like that, interest of the country must always comes first. Do not get you supporters all worked up, inciting them to take to the streets.

Havent they insulted their supporters intelligence enough? Or was it a case of their supporters (again, as usual) not bothering to go through the facts of the case, and instead just feed on their leaderships twisted accounts and the convenience of simply blaming it on UMNO?

I think all of us can do DS Anwar and his family a favour, and make Du’a that DSAI repents and that God will give him the strength to overcome his weaknesses and instil some consciousness in him not to manipulate his supporters and more importantly, his family merely to cover up his personal issues.

    • They are many others who have rejected this family. Their supporters will evaporate once anwar’s money dries up.

  7. “Potential”, said Aziz Bari, of Nurul Izzah. The opinion of the UIA law lecturer whose seat in the public university became hot when heavily criticized for supporting the Opposition, until he felt obliged to resign.

“Unrealizeable potenial”, I’d say of her. And “forever unrealized potential”, I’d say of her father, Anwarul Al Juburi. For their words and deeds in the past and following the Federal Court’s verdict and Anwar’s imprisonment.

Yes, they used to have many supporters. But they dwindled, starting form the Federal Court hearing. It’s in the nature of human beings. They tend to go with the tide. William Shakespeare had, over 500 years ago, observed that, when he wrote on “the affairs of men, taken at its tide …” – can’t remember the rest but it meant that they clap you when at the high tide, distance themselves away from you when there’s nothing else to clap.

So from 300 at the Federal Court hearing, to 200 at the vigil (is that Islamic, I wonder) at Sg Buluh prison, to 100 on the occasion with Nurul elsewhere, to 50 at the demo with Nik Nazmi at Sogo shopping complex last Saturday.

And only the other day the Police have issued a warning against those intending to attend the demo at the same place as called for by the PKR Youth Head on March 7. Come on man, you’ll be looking for trouble if you pllan to go there and demo – it’s a shopping complex, you’ll be blocking the traffic and hindering the shoppers.

Be good and stay elsewhere on that day and time, will you. You risk being arrested for nothing. Nothing to clap any more.

    • Asst Comm Zainol Samah, Dang Wangi OCPD, said in a statement that I came across just now:

“Sogo has not given permission for the demonstration to be held at its premises. A police report has also been lodged.

“The demonstration that is expected on Feb 28 (today) and March 7 that was uploaded on Facebook did not have permission from the Dang Wangi police.”

So, avoid lingering at the place on those days, guys.

  8. As PKR Vice-President, Nurul Izzah should also advise PKR Youth to heed Police advice:

Police have said, “We have proposed other locations to have the rally and are ready to assist them.”

But Youth Head Nik Nazmi said the rally would still go on despite the police’s decision on the matter. Very hard headed. Samseng. A former Deputy Speaker of Selangor DUN. What a joke.

“We will carry on with the rally and there are no changes, even though the police have suggested the rally be held at alternate venues like a stadium or other places,” Nik Nazmi was quoted as saying in the same news report.

And the Police have said “.. any individual found taking part in the rally at Sogo will be arrested, in line with the 2012 Peaceful Assembly Act.”

But I doubt if Nurul Izzah would advise them to follow Police advice. Where got sense of responsibility, respect for law, decorum and decency among the Oppo Hippos. “Potential”, some one said? Naaah ……. Potential trouble maker, yes.

And I’m sure the Police mean every word of what they said. I expect a number of them thrown into the Jinjang Police lock up as a result.

    • “The Peaceful Assembly Act which regulates demonstrations does not criminalise protests”?

“Civil rights lawyers have warned that police appeared to be using a “new tactic” to curb freedom of expression by using the Penal Code instead”?

So said the Malaysian Insider. Said by them, one has to take such statements with a ton of salt.

Nonsense to say that the Peaceful Assembly Act does not provide penalties for those who break the Act. Any such law any where in the world? A law only giving the right to assembly and if they don’t follow Police guidelines, nothing happens?

      Goobledegook.

    • Very keras kepala. Sombong. Very confrontational. PKR Youth today rejected the police’s condition to hold their March 7 rally in a stadium.

“We have decided that there will be no alternative venue. The rally will go on March 7 at the Sogo shopping centre at 4pm,” said one of the committee members.

“We will still ask the police for help on safety and traffic ., ” So arrogant and defiant of the Police advice.

The bloke said that the group felt that Sogo, in the heart of the capital and near public transportation hubs, was the easiest place for people to gather. Is that the story? Convenience for the handful of them? Not bothered about the convenience of the public passing through there and shopping at the mall?

I don’t like the dare devil attitude at all. PKR must be made responsible. Nurul Izzah, the Vice President, must be made responsible. Wan Azizah, PKR President, must be made responsible. What happens to her, quiet now?

    • This is another bloke who must be made responsible –

Batu MP Tian Chua, who was also present, said police should not make an issue of where people choose to gather, saying “Citizens have a right to gather, it’s not for the police decide where we want to gather.”

I have a lot of expletives against the bloke who was arrested and charged more than once, if I remember correctly. But I am restraining myself.

He has no respect at all for the Peaceful Assembly Act which clearly stipulates that assemblies are allowed only under certain conditions, including only at places the Police consider will not affect the interest of the public. Like traffic passing through.

Yet the bugger is called a lawmaker, a Member of Parliament. What kind of MP is that? He is a big instigator. I wish he is placed behind bars again. For years if possible.

  9. asiaone.com report says

“Pakatan Rakyat wants Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be granted permission to attend the next meeting of Parliament which begins on March 9.

It wants the Government to facilitate this by ferrying the jailed Opposition Leader from the Sungai Buloh prison to Parliament during the relevant period.

“Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi must instruct the Prisons Department accordingly,” said PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar.

“The Federal Opposition Leader must be at his post,” Nurul Izzah said.”

As if kepala bap.k dia pegang kuasa. Emak bapak dia tak ajar dia cara bercakap ke? Takda bimbingan sejak kecil ke? Macam mana nak harap bagi nasihat kapada bapak supaya bertaubat? Keluarga apa macam tuh?

  10. Do we notice a crack in PKR leadership ranks now? Diverging views? Tactic and strategy? Or plain whacking one another?

Gathering for solidarity not DSAI’s personal agenda, said Deputy President Azmin Ali

The supposed PKR convention has been changed to a gathering in solidarity for Anwar. But note what he said –

“The imprisonment of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is not a just a personal issue … We agreed for the convention to be turned into a solidarity gathering, and if we assemble peacefully, it is allowed by the constitution,” Azmin told the press.

The key words are “if we assemble peacefully”. Not confrontational. Not demanding. Some respect for the Police. He said, “the organisers have already informed the police about the gathering, and we will discuss on the next course of action as we always run a safe and peaceful gathering”.

That’s not what the Vice President daughter of the woman who wanted to be Selangor MB, and the PKR Youth leader, and the often seditious-tendency Vice President Tian Chua, appear to be talking and doing. Confrontational. Not respecting the Peaceful Assembly Act, insisting to demo at Sogo, against Police advice. Even the lawyer Vice President Surendran has appeared to be conciliatory, let the AG decide on whether Anwar can attend Parliament, he said.

Yes, why is President Wan Azizah so quiet?

    • Maybe the poor woman is suffering from depression. Fed up with the world and everybody. Cannot accept the Court verdict and imprisonment of “Anugerah Tuhan”. Kesian.

But the daughter so arrogant. How to give sympathy?

      • At a vigil in Sg Buluh last night, Nurul Izzah said,

“We’re not doing this just because we love our dad. If it is only about loving our dad, we would be out of this country with him.”

Just look at that. The extent they would go – migrate as a family.

Her love for the country is paper thin. Or non-existent already. The poor PKR supporters. Being hoodwinked. And used.

Strongly doubtful that they are staying behind for any reason other than knowing that, even if Anwar cabutted, the long arms of the law will get him. Or he will be living a life of a fugitive, hounded and sneered everywhere he goes.

    • Mesti gaduh one. Big time, this time.

Azmin got the MB job that Abwar and family wanted for Azizah. Now Depty President Azmin trying to soften Vice President Nurul Izzah’s stand of “KitaLawan” Police advice etc.

The family must be fuming mad at Azmin.

      • Azmin will become PKR boss not long from now. People been talking even of him as Opposition Leader, taking over Anwar’s place.

With Nurul Izzah, Nik Nazmi etc being disruptive, not constructive, PKR losing more and more support, rallies not well attended, Azmin’s supporters have become more respected and Azmin will be boss maybe at next party convention.

    • The crack in PKR leadership may be deepening with Azmin Ali being able to visit Anwar in prison, as reported by the Star columnist Joceline Tan:

“.. after a brief discussion with the prison director, Azmin was allowed to see Anwar.

“But the subtext to Azmin’s prison call is also to signal to the party that he has a direct channel of communication with Anwar, that he is the alternative conduit besides Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. This is important for him so that no single person or group in the party can claim to be the sole spokesman for Anwar.

“Party insiders said that there will be more visits from Azmin on the grounds that he needs to have discussions with Anwar who is still the Selangor economic advisor.”

In October last year it was said that there were two power centres in PKR – one revolves around Azmin and the other around the new secretary-general Rafizi Ramli. Those two factions were expected to compete for supremacy. Now not much is heard not only from Azizah but also from Rafizi.

As overheard in a coffee shop conversation: “Very difficulty in PKR. Very problem in PR. How they can win elections?”

  11. Perhaps we need not be so concerned whether Nurul Izzah persuades her father to bertaubat or not. The public has seen and realized how futile his activities as pengkhianat bangsa dan negara have become. The rallies, including yesterday’s, have not been attracting many participants.

Political analyst Datuk Razak Baba, when asked by Rakyatpost “to comment on the low turnout at the Kita Lawan rally (yesterday)”, said, ‘Only the young ones are still obsessed with Anwar’. I agree with him.

But even the word “obsessed” is not accurate. Apart from the handful of hardcore, regular participants, for the rest, it’s more of curiosity to know what and who (including pretty girls and that kind of stuff) will be there, what will happen, and the fun and excitement to be with the crowd.

Especially when they beat drums and cracked jokes, the occasional participants get entertained. “Student activist” Adam Adli himself used the word “entertainment”. The thought of Anwar hardly occupies their mind 99% of the time.

We were all young once. Had done those during our student days. After a while, having known what went on at such “rallies”, we ceased attending. “Habis duit minyak” for the scooter, said the boys, who would rather spend the money on cigarettes.

But of course Nurul Izzah, Tian Chua, Nik Nazmi and such will continue to sound aggressive, non-compromising and confrontational. And we will continue to pooh pooh them.

  12. The foreign sponsors must be jumping mad at their loss of a failed investment. Anwar will always be the PM-wannabe.

And his family and friends are forced to deliver results to the foreign interests who must have invested big time.

  13. […] The pioneer Puteri UMNO Head also asked the Lembah Pantai MP, who is eldest daughter of Opposition Leader and Sodomy Convict Anwar Ibrahim to plead her father to repent for his sins and despicable crime. […]
