Sarawak Report Hubris on Demonizing PM Najib

The Sarawak Report story on money trail back to Prime Minister Najib

The Sarawak Report story on money trail back to Prime Minister Najib

The New-Con Jewish funded through the Open Society and Global Witness media creature Sarawak Report is intensifying its lies with the sinister intent to demonize Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak with malicious accusations that he was beneficiary of drawn monies from some of the 1MDB deal.

An avid observer of this SOPO agenda to topple Prime Minister Najib was quick with immediate salvos against these Sarawak Report hopeful rebels.

1MDB was very quick to deny these malicious lies:

1MDB never provided funds to PM

In reference to media reports published earlier today, 1MDB wishes to make clear that the company has never provided any funds to the Prime Minister. To suggest otherwise, as some media outlets have done, is highly irresponsible and a deliberate attempt to undermine the company.

Recent revelations have raised concerns about the veracity of a number of ‘leaked’ documents which certain media outlets, and online blogs such as Sarawak Report, have used to mislead the public and justify spurious allegations against the company and the government.

According to press reports, these documents were found to have been tampered with, and were being used by an individual – who is currently under arrest in a foreign country – to extort and blackmail his former employer.

We are therefore surprised that documents such as these, whose existence and authenticity have not been publicly verified, continue to be used as a basis to create new unsubstantiated allegations against 1MDB.

1MDB is currently cooperating with a number of enquiries being conducted by lawful authorities including the Auditor General, the Public Accounts Committee and Bank Negara. These authorities have all the relevant information, and we request all parties to await the outcome of their findings before making further allegations and rushing to judgement.

These series of outright malicious lies coupled with twisted half truths have been repeated too many times over and credible international media starting to use some of the materials as ‘credible sources’.

This latest sting came days after Fitch reviewed their ratings on Malaysia from negative to stable. This include all the fiscal initiatives put forth by Prime Minister Najib’s administration which include the 1MDB recovery plan approved by Cabinet on 29 May 2015.

Hence, all the efforts before this to demonise Prime Minister Najib’s administration as being “poor, incompetent, mismanaged and laced with embezzlement, CBTs and corruption” did not affect the fundamentals about the Malaysian economy and fiscal policy management.

Inadvertently, Prime Minister Najib’s administration is heading the right direction with his Transformation Agenda which encompasses rationalisation of direct and indirect subsidies, reduction of dependence on oil and gas and reducing deficit.

In short, the Neo Con Jewish funders of activists and operatives who have systematically trying to topple the BN led Federal Government of Malaysia, failed after all there tricks displayed.

Now, they are moving up on a higher gear and starting to attack Prime Minister Najib is being corrupt and personally benefitting from the so-called “1MDB Scandal”.

Prime Minister Najib should consider serious actions against Sarawak Report which agenda is clearly to instigate deep distrust and demonize the Prime Minister and management of the country.

Statement from Prime Minister’s Office on Sarawak Report’s latest malicious attacks against the Prime Minister:

PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE STATEMENT

3 July 2015‎

‎”Despite the Prime Minister’s successful stewardship of Malaysia’s economy against global headwinds – as recognised this week by Fitch’s upgrade – there have been concerted efforts by certain individuals to undermine confidence in our economy, tarnish the government, and remove a democratically elected Prime Minister.

“These latest claims, attributed to unnamed investigators as a basis to attack the Prime Minister, are a continuation of this political sabotage. ‎

“It has been reported that criminal leaking of documents, doctoring and extortion has taken place to mislead the media and public.

So it is incumbent on responsible members of the media not to accept documents as genuine unless verified by the appropriate authorities.

Regarding the allegations themselves, it must be noted that 1MDB has already stated that the company never provided funds to the Prime Minister.”‎

Calling it political sabotage, Putrajaya said today the Wall Street Journal’s expose about billions channelled into Datuk Seri Najib Razak bank accounts was the work of “certain individuals” to undermine confidence in the economy, tarnish the government and remove a democratically elected prime minister.
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that local media should not accept such documents as genuine unless verified by appropriate authorities after the Malaysian online media quoted the WSJ expose and that by whistle-blower site Sarawak Report.

“Despite the prime minister’s successful stewardship of Malaysia’s economy against global headwinds – as recognised this week by Fitch’s upgrade – there have been concerted efforts by certain individuals to undermine confidence in our economy, tarnish the government, and
remove a democratically elected prime minister.

“These latest claims, attributed to unnamed investigators as a basis to attack the prime minister, are a continuation of this political sabotage,” PMO said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
The statement came after several ministers questioned the reports in the WSJ and Sarawak Report which said debt-ridden 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) had channelled money into Najib’s accounts through other companies.

1MDB has denied the claims.

“It has been reported that criminal leaking of documents, doctoring and extortion has taken place to mislead the media and public.

“So it is incumbent on responsible members of the media not to accept documents as genuine unless verified by the appropriate authorities.

“Regarding the allegations themselves, it must be noted that 1MDB has already stated that the company never provided funds to the prime minister,” PMO said. – July 3, 2015.
