  1. May Allah keep you, Tun Dr M, in good health always.

May you be rewarded amply for all your selfless sacrifice and contributions to your beloved ‘Tanah Air, Bangsa dan Agama’.

  2. Siapa gambar atas tu dengan Tun M? Gemuk sangat. Makan apa hari-hari?

    • Itu gambar sebelum GST ,mungkin sekarang dah susut kot ?.

  3. Birthdays don’t usually deserve more than the usual good wishes. But I’ll make it an exception for Tun Dr Mahathir.

This grand old man, like ALL politicians, had his enemies during his PMship. But for 22 years rule, his enemies may number less than those who rule only 5-6 years.

Books were even written by University professors heavily criticizing him during his rule. He and Daim Zainuddin were even seen as crooks by some people. But those people may even see him as a hero after seeing Pak Lah’s, and now Najib’s, performances. Especially Najib’s handling of 1MDB.

Privatization, industrialization, Proton, “menaikkan maruah negara”, fighting Zionist Jew George Soros and the Asian Financial Crisis are some of the hallmarks of his rule.

Many, in anger, vengeance and envy, called him Mamak, and he has not been shy of admitting his 25% Indian blood. But TDM has been very strongly Malay in practically all respects, much more than Najib who projected his Bugis ancestry (apparently to show he is also a pendatang, for the sake of the votes whatever), much to the chagrin of Malays who believe no Malays are pendatang to this country because they are in the Large Family called Rumpun Melayu, who have been in and out of these Gugusan Pulau Pulau Melayu or Malay Archipelago where they originated from since over 6,000 years – no such thing as from Yunan.

    • TDM certainly subscribes to the above but Najib must read and re-read the books, “The Malay Civilization” and “Tamadun Alam Melayu”, published by the Historical Society of Malaysia, available at Wisma Sejarah, opposite IJN, Jalan Tun A Razak, KL.

The Historical Society of Malaysia was established during the British colonial times and current members include Professors of History, Malay Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology, Linguistics and others with qualifications and knowledge in the relevant sciences that have a bearing on history. It has a 5-storey building of its own in Jln Tun Razak. It therefore is a formidable and reliable organization, having established its integrity since British colonial ties.

The books published by them as stated above explain the scores of academic researches, findings of archaeological excavations in this region, linguistic and scientific (including DNA) studies done since the 1950s, that have debunked the “out-of-Yunan” hypothesis put out and in circulation for about 20 years since the 1930s.

If Najib does read those books and appreciates that the Malays are not pendatang in this country, I might write good wishes for his next birthday, like I did for Tun Dr Mahathir.

  4. Today is my birthday too. I only knew that I shared the same birth date (not year, of course) with Tun Mahathir a few years ago!

    • Happy Birthday to Setem!

  5. Selamat Hari Jadi Tun.

Semoga Allah Swt balas jasa-jasa Tun kepada Malaysia dengan rahmat dan ehsanNya.

  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR Dr M,

I grew up when he was pm. I remember those years as happy ones. Like i felt personally safe, knowing the captain of the ship is very able. Even during the financial crisis we never felt doom and gloom as we do now.
    Thank You Dr Mahathir.
May Allah bless you always. Amin

  7. Asked what his birthday wish is, he said, “.. I hope to continue being active in resolving the problems in the country.”

I hope so, too. Too many problems in the country these days.
