The reborn paper

BN Director of Strategic Communications Dato’ Abdul Rahman Dahlan lambasted The Edge Managing Editor Ho Kay Tat for claiming that the business paper is not political for the attacks against 1MDB and echoing the demonisation of Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak’s leadership.

Pro-Anwarista news portal Malaysiakini story:

I wasn’t born yesterday, minister tells The Edge

Mkini, 21 July 215

Abdul Rahman Dahlan has rained Twitter-fire on the statement from The Edge publisher Ho Kay Tat regarding the financial daily’s articles on 1MDB.

Dismissing the claim that the reports were not politically motivated, he said: “The Edge said this was not political. Excuse me. I was not born yesterday. Don’t patronise.”
He argued that The Edge had no qualms “roping in the opposition to do their bidding” instead of remaining neutral.

The newly minted BN strategic communication director pointed out The Edge also admitted procuring stolen data from former PetroSaudi International executive Xavier Andre Justo.

“Finally, The Edge admitted they got stolen data from Justo! I wonder if the Thais didn’t arrest Justo, would they admit it?” he tweeted.

In his statement, Ho said early this year, the publication was informed that “someone” was willing to share information that would shed light on 1MDB’s joint-venture with PSI.

“We were not told who he was before we met him.

“This person, whom we shall not name, showed us thousands and thousands of emails and document attachments.

“We read scores of them and were convinced of their authenticity because of the sheer volume and the email trails. We subsequently had an IT forensic expert confirmed that there was no reason to worry that they were fakes,” he said.

Why IT experts called?

However, Abdul Rahman dismissed this explanation as well.

“The Edge said they used the stolen data from Justo because they were dead sure the data were not fake. How convenient!” he said.

“If The Edge is sure the data were not tampered with why then experts said they were indeed. If The Edge unsure why use it?” he added.

Despite the ‘confession’, the urban well-being, housing and local government minister warned that “the issue is far from over”.

“Questions that need to be asked: Did anyone pay for the stolen and tampered data?

“Did anyone complain about not getting paid or being paid late for the stolen data? Did anyone then ask someone to pressure the buyer to honour his commitment to pay?” he added.

Abdul Rahman also questioned who tempered with the data as acknowledged by the Thai authorities.

Justo, a Swiss national, is under the detention of Thai police for allegedly attempting to blackmail his former employer.

He is also said to have leaked the documents to several parties.

It is interesting to note that The Edge has the ability to do the forensics to ensure that e mails that were obtained as ‘sources’ are ‘tampered free’. Hence, there were used as materials for their story.

Rahman is spot on. The Edge used stolen data and information. This must be a matter of breach of journalism ethics.

This was The Edge Managing Editor Ho Kay Tat’s excuse:

We could not walk away on finding out about the scheme to cheat Malaysia of billions of ringgit

Published: 21 July 2015 5:11 PM

The Edge had reported extensively on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) in 2013 and 2014 as it emerged that the government-owned entity had run into financial difficulties.
Information was, however, scarce and limited because its annual audited financial reports were consistently late.

Our journalists have met various contacts and pored through whatever available information they could get hold of in search of the truth.

Early this year, we were told someone was willing to share information that will shed light on 1MDB’s joint venture with PetroSaudi International. We were not told who he was before we met him.
This person, whom we shall not name, showed us thousands and thousands of emails and document attachments.

We read scores of them and were convinced of their authenticity because of the sheer volume and the email trails.

We subsequently had an IT forensic expert confirm that there was no reason to worry that they were fakes.

What we read shocked us. What was supposed to be a joint venture that will bring economic benefits to the country was nothing more than a scheme to scam billions of ringgit from Malaysia by a small group of Malaysians and their foreign partners.

At that point, we could do one of two things:

1) Drop the matter like a hot potato and walk away, or

2) Get hold of everything so that the truth can be uncovered.

We decided we had to pursue the truth.

As Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Musa Hitam and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said recently, those who have information that can lead to the truth must speak out and not look the other way. Not reporting a wrong doing is a crime.

Even Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin have said they want to get to the truth.

As a media group, we believe we have a public duty to do, no matter how difficult and dangerous it may be for us.

Meeting contacts to gather information is what media professionals do all the time in pursuit of a story. There is nothing wrong or sinister.

We were not involved in any theft, we did not pay anyone, and we did not tamper any of the emails and documents we were given.

In fact, we have secured the data so that no one can tamper with them. This can be independently verified by the authorities.

Some of the information have been used in articles we have published in the last few months. Some were just too sensitive to be used. None of the articles have been challenged by anyone named in these stories.

Indeed, we believe our articles have been of help to the various government agencies looking at 1MDB.

There is no political agenda or conspiracy in what we have done. In fact, we have engaged with various politicians and government officials who have sought our help to get a better understanding of what had happened and the situation 1MDB is in today.

The easiest thing we could have done after coming across what we found, was to walk away. Why look for trouble? But we could not do that.

We chose to take the difficult path, one that we knew will be fraught with risks to ourselves personally and to our organisation, which now faces the possibility of action by the Home Ministry.

On Monday, we handed documents, printed emails and a hard disc to Bank Negara. Today, the same set was given to the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) of the Police. I also gave a statement to CCID.

We are comforted that the various investigators, the Auditor-General, the Public Accounts Committee, Bank Negara, the police, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and the Attorney-General have given their commitment to uncover the truth without fear or favour.

It is, indeed, their responsibility and their duty to the people of Malaysia to do just that. Just as it was our duty to pursue the story.

The actual is that The Edge incessant stories about 1MDB was a systematic effort to echo the soundbites and plot which was started by Sarawak Report, in incessantly amplified further by Opposition Leaders like Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli makes it a political agenda.

The collusion with Opposition Leaders very much contradicts The Edge’s statement that the business paper is not political. In fact, the paper serves as a tool if not an accomplice to the Opposition’s agenda to topple Prime Minister Najib, when they failed to do it through the ballot box.

It is very much a demonstration of the owner, Tong Kooi Ong’s affiliation towards former Opposition Leader and now a convict for sodomising his own aide Anwar Ibrahim.

The credibility, integrity and ethics of the business paper is at stake. Even an economic sabotage, which is actually a threat to national security.

Time and again it has been proven the media group under Tong is systematically looking out for trouble, with systemic provocations with the inadvertent motive to arouse sentiments and emotional reaction of the both extremes on highly sensitive issues.

This include mocking the administration of Islam such as Hudud Enactment recently Kelantan State Assembly.

That is sinister with intention to create malice.

That is the same objectives what the Opposition and Neo Con Jews controlled foreign media systematically and incessantly been up to with the plot to arouse sentiment of the  rakyat into rising on the street and topple Prime Minister Najib and the BN government.

Liar calling the bluff

The irony of reacting against her own medicine, the most prolific and consistent international blogger-liar Clare Rewcastle-Brown has now called one time accomplice through Free Sarawak Radio to attack then Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud as a liar.

The Star story:

Published: Monday July 20, 2015 MYT 7:03:00 PM
Updated: Monday July 20, 2015 MYT 8:44:57 PM

Clare: Lester peddling a pack of lies

KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown has accused former Sarawak Tribune editor Lester Melanyi of peddling a pack of lies in his latest confession video made public Monday.

She denied Lester’s claim that she met Petrosaudi International “blackmail” suspect Xavier Andre Justo in London.

“No, I did not meet Justo in London,” she firmly said, in questioning Lester’s character.

In an email response to The Star after Lester’s part two of the video was released, she said: “Lester is making it all up.”

Rewcastle-Brown, however, confirmed that she funded air tickets for Lester’s travels to London and had engaged him to work in Radio Free Sarawak on a semi-voluntary basis, “despite being widely warned in Kuching” against the move.

She also denied that the whistleblower website was bankrolled by non-profit conservation group Bruno Manser Fund (BMF), as Lester claimed.

“He is clutching at straws because some friends from BMF came over and visited the radio station while he was there.

“We had a party. I have an independent donor for the radio site and I use that to fund my travel and my website manager manages that side of what I do and he works pro bono on SR’s needs,” Rewcastle-Brown said.

She said that the website designer whom Lester named as the one who fabricated the fake emails and agreements to fuel Sarawak Report’s apparent mission to criminalise 1MDB and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, was a “figment of his troubled imagination”.

“If you Google him (which I did), it turns out that it is the real name of a Hollywood film star of yesteryear. My website is run by a nice gentleman by the name of Christian,” she added.

Rewcastle Brown said she pitied Lester and his “very nice family” and that he was being used as a diversionary tactic to distract people from the real issues of 1Malaysia Development Berhad.

“He is plainly unwell in many ways and he should not be paraded for money like a circus animal.

“It is most shameful that this is being done by a political party that is in a position of responsibility,” she claimed.

Rewcastle-Brown is renown for her work to manipulate and distort information and fabricate some more in a carefully presented form of lies disguised brilliantly like a well researched work, for a sinister agenda.

As the pot calls the kettle black, bit by bit her lies through Sarawak Report have been debunked and proven otherwise. In actual fact, there is very little truth in the articles.

The revelation of Thai Police Lt. Gen. Prawuth and Lester Melanyi’s testimony of the authenticity and accuracy of facts peddled by former Petro Saudi International executive Xavier Justo points that Rewcastle-Brown manipulated and distorted information she obtained.

Now is to connect the dots with the Opposition Leaders.

It is obvious that media tycoon and Anwarista-Supremo Tong Kooi Ong already provided the platform of the demonisation of the Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak’s leadership, by using all the manipulation and distortion of facts and well infused lies through his highly sought after business paper.

The credibility of Rewscatle-Brown and Tong Kooi Ong has started to approach zero if not already negative.

All these attacks on Federal Government strategic investment corporation 1MDB is with the sinister agenda to demonise Prime Minister Najib and arouse the rakyat to topple the BN government when the Opposition failed to do it via the ballot box twice.

As the Opposition pack of (un)holy-marriage-of-(in)convenience-between-backstabbing-strange-bedfellows was heading towards cracking and Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy case conviction was sealed with Federal Court decision and rejection for petition with the Royal Pardons Board, the lies were intensified.

It would be interesting when Opposition Leaders such as Petaling Jaya MP Tony Pua and Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli begin to call their bluff.

One is reminded of a bastardised line from Bono’s mid-eigtnies “With or Without You”, “On a bed on lies she made me wait”. It would be a interesting but expected to the rewarding wait, for those who have faith is this sinister game of trying to put Prime Minister Najib on the Piñata.

*Updated Tuesday 21 July 0900hours

In minutes after this posting came live on air, Petaling Jaya Utara MP and DAP Director of Propaganda Tony Pua called Melanyi’s bluff to retract or risk getting sued.

Pro-Anwarista noews portal story:

Retract your words or get sued, Pua tells Melanyi

Published: 21 July 2015 12:36 AM

DAP’s national publicity secretary Tony Pua will sue former Sarawak journalist Lester Melanyi if the latter does not retract and apologise for allegations made in two “confessional” videos released in the past week.
Pua, who has been a firm critic of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), said he has ordered his lawyers to issue a letter of demand to Melanyi, giving him seven days to reply.

“Lester Melanyi will receive a letter of demand from my lawyers this week and he will have seven days to retract and apologise for his widely publicised video statement.

“Melanyi has via his two videos to date, accused me of conspiring with other parties, foreign and local, to fabricate and falsify information about 1MDB in order to ‘cheat and lie’ to achieve whatever alleged objectives,” the Petaling Jaya Utara MP said in a statement today.
Pua added he was especially shocked to see how Melanyi had “confessed” that there was prior communication between the two of them earlier this year.

“What stunned me was Lester’s ‘confession’ that I had ‘communicated once’ with him in January. Allegedly, I had asked him whether he was ‘on this 1MDB mission’ and he had responded to me that he wasn’t. Instead, he had allegedly told me ‘to communicate with Clare (Rewcastle-Brown) directly.

“I have never known or even heard of a ‘Lester Melanyi’ in my entire life before the first video, much less ‘communicated’ with him!” he said.

Admitting that such a confession took him by surprise so much that it even caused him to doubt his own memory, Pua said he searched through all his emails and contact list just to make sure such an allegation was “completely fabricated”.

“In the latest video, he even alleged that 90% of what is published by the Sarawak Report on 1MDB was fabricated and only 10% was truthful,” Pua said refering to a second “confession” video by Melanyi which was released today.

Calling it “filled with incredulous tall tales which even the most hardcore of Barisan Nasional supporters would find hard to believe”, the DAP national publicity secretary explained that with “90% lies” in the allegations, 1MDB would have been able to easily debunk and humiliate the offending party a long time ago.

“Instead, 1MDB had over the past six months steadfastly refused to rebut the specific allegations which were backed with attached documents.”

Pua believes Melanyi’s videos are not merely a work of fiction but a malicious attempt designed to destroy the reputation and credibility of the most ardent critics of 1MDB.

“Melanyi’s accusations meant that I had cheated and lied in my criticisms against the scandal-ridden company and that I had also conspired with other individuals to do the same via the Sarawak Report.

“It is shocking how low Barisan Nasional will go, relying on the fictitious confession of someone who has no credibility, in order to taint the critics of the government,” Pua said, calling them desperate for wanting to distract the people’s attention from the debt-ridden state-owned investment arm and embattled Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak. – July 20, 2015.

Sepuluh Budak Hitam

The revelation by Thai Police of 10 influential Malaysians involved with Ex-Petro Saudi executive Xavier Justo with regards to demonise Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak through the attacks on 1MDB is quite damning.

Straits Times Singapore story:

Ex-PetroSaudi exec fingers Malaysians in 1MDB scandal

JUL 17, 2015, 5:00 AM SGT

Thai police say he named 10 people who bought documents used to attack Najib

Nirmal Ghosh Indochina Bureau Chief In Bangkok

Thai police said Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo, who is in custody and expected to be charged with blackmailing his former employer, PetroSaudi, has given a full confession and identified about 10 people who bought documents from him to use to attack Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

“He has confessed everything. He has given us very good cooperation… every document, even from inside his phone,” police spokesman Prawuth Thavornsiri told The Straits Times.

Justo sold the data he had taken from PetroSaudi to the group, which included media figures and a person from the Prime Minister’s own party, according to Lieutenant-General Prawuth. Among them was a Malaysia-born woman who had moved to Britain.

“She has a news blog,” he added.

Asked if the blog was the Sarawak Report website, he said: “Maybe. I didn’t name it, you named it.”

He said the website “usually gives bad news about Malaysia”.

“The website tampered with the data to discredit the PM,” he added.

Lt-Gen Prawuth said he could not mention names. But he confirmed that Justo met with “many people, about 10, from the media and from political circles, even from the same party as the PM (Datuk Seri Najib)”. Justo met the Malaysia-born woman three times in Thailand, and also in Singapore, for “negotiation”, said Lt-Gen Prawuth.

In the last stage of the negotiations, once the group had verified that Justo’s files contained the information they wanted, they discussed how to pay him.

The evidence from Justo included a full transcript of all the Whatsapp chats he had with the group during their negotiations and discussions on how he would be paid. Some meetings are said to have been held in Singapore.

“The way they paid was the same way money-laundering gangs pay, Lt-Gen Prawuth said.

“They talked to each other many times by Whatsapp, we have the evidence; they talked about paying like this and like that, to pretend to buy and sell.”

These details “should be useful” to Malaysian police, he added.

The spokesman also offered to share information with the Singapore police. “This case should be reported in Singapore because the money laundering to attack the PM started in Singapore,” he said. “If the Singapore police ask me for evidence (through) the foreign affairs protocol, I can send it.”

Thai police arrested Justo at his plush home on the resort island of Koh Samui on June 22.

The tattooed 49-year-old had worked for PetroSaudi from 2010 to 2011, Lt-Gen Prawuth said.

“The CEO of that company was Xavier’s close friend. I don’t know what conflict they had; he (Justo) walked out and requested money from the company,” he said.

“The company paid him about four million Swiss francs at the time he walked out.

“After two years Xavier called the CEO again and asked for some money again. Before he left, he had copied every e-mail of the company from the server. It was in 2013 that he called the company and said I know all your secrets, and I want US$2.5 million.”

When PetroSaudi turned down his demand, Justo then approached the other group, said Lt-Gen Prawuth, who took care not to mention Malaysia by name.

Justo would be charged with blackmail, Lt-Gen Prawuth told The Straits Times. “The blackmail happened in Thailand, so we only have scope for that,” he added.

On July 3, the Wall Street Journal and Sarawak Report claimed that US$700 million (S$957 million) linked to 1Malaysia Development Berhad was deposited into Mr Najib’s private bank accounts over the past two years.

The beleaguered Prime Minister, who is facing calls for his resignation led by influential former premier Mahathir Mohamad, has denied ever using state funds for “personal gain”.

Mr Najib has accused Tun Dr Mahathir, who was Malaysia’s prime minister for 22 years until 2003, of conspiring with international media to topple his government via “political sabotage”.

1MDB’s recent struggle to meet financing obligations, as it seeks to pare down RM42 billion (S$15 billion) in debt it racked up in its first five years of operation, has been a lightning rod for criticism against Mr Najib’s leadership.

The state investment agency is now the subject of multiple probes by the Malaysian authorities.

Malaysian police have asked their Thai counterparts for access to Justo but have yet to interview the Swiss national.

What is very intriguing, the ten are a blend of Opposition and BN leaders (or their trusted aides representing them).

The Nation story:

Swiss man met ‘buyers of data on Malaysian PM in Thailand’

The Nation July 18, 2015 1:00 am

THAILAND WAS used as a meeting venue between a Swiss suspect held here for blackmail and the potential buyers of information intended to discredit Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, the Singapore-based Straits Times newspaper reported online.

The paper quoted Thai police spokesman Lt-General Prawut Thavornsiri as saying that Xavier Justo met three times with a Malaysia-born female news blogger who had moved to Britain to negotiate the purchase of information and data. Prawut based his information on the confession of Justo, who he said had admitted to everything and surrendered a document, even records from his phone.

The suspect was arrested late last month in Surat Thani’s Koh Samui district for allegedly trying to blackmail a Saudi oil company.

Prawut said Justo named about 10 people from the media and political circles, even from the same party as Najib, who wanted to buy the information he had allegedly taken from PetroSaudi.

Prawut said Justo met the Malaysia-born woman three times in Thailand, and also in Singapore, for “negotiation”. Asked if the woman’s blog was the Sarawak Report website, he said: “Maybe. I didn’t name it, you named it. The website tampered with the data to discredit the [Malaysian] PM.”

The evidence from Justo allegedly included a full transcript of all the WhatsApp chats he had with the group during their negotiations and discussions on how he would be paid.

“This case should be reported in Singapore because the money-laundering to attack the PM started in Singapore,” Prawut said. “If the Singapore police ask me for evidence [through] the foreign affairs protocol, I can send it.”

The suspect had worked for PetroSaudi from 2010 to 2011 and the chief executive officer was Justo’s close friend. Justo walked out and the company paid him about 4 million Swiss francs (Bt140 million).

After two years, Justo called the CEO again and asked for more money. Before he left, he had copied every e-mail of the company from the server. “It was in 2013 that he called the company and said I know all your secrets and I want US$2.5million. When the firm turned down his demand, Justo approached the other group,” Prawut said.

Justo will be charged with blackmail, Prawut told The Straits Times.

Malaysia Development, a state investment agency chaired by Najib, has invested in PetroSaudi while allegations claimed that Najib received money from the investment in that company. Najib, who is facing calls for his resignation, has denied ever using state funds for “personal gain”.

The same news portal also publish a story about “A former key politician” who is involved in the scheme where Justo admitted to the Thai police a conspiracy to demonise Prime Minister Najib.

Swiss man admits to part in smear campaign

THE NATION July 17, 2015 1:00 am
A POLICE investigation into a Swiss suspect, who is being detained in Thailand on blackmail charges, has revealed that his network planned to use distorted information to attack a neighbouring country’s government through media in Europe as part of a smear campaign, police spokesman Maj-General Prawut Thavornsiri said yesterday.

Xavier Justo’s accomplices include the media and a former key politician of this neighbouring country. Though Prawut did not identify the neighbouring country, it is widely understood that he was referring to Malaysia.

Justo, a former PetroSaudi International executive, was arrested in Surat Thani’s Koh Samui on June 22 for allegedly trying to extort 2.5 Swiss Francs (about Bt90 million) from PetroSaudi in exchange for not disclosing confidential information.

Prawut said Justo confessed and handed in all information and evidence, including e-mails and messages via WhatsApp, which revealed that the suspect was part of a network that planned to sell this distorted information to discredit the government of this neighbouring country.

“We also found that the suspect’s network included the press and a former key politician from this country,” the spokesman said, adding that the suspect had received payment for this information in Singapore.

In his confession, Justo provided dates, times and venues of the meetings, which Prawut said had been cross-checked and found to be correct.

This was believed to be part of a plot to discredit Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak by using false information about 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), a state development fund chaired by Najib.

Previously, officials from this neighbouring country had asked Thai police for information, which it could not provide at that time because the investigation was ongoing, the police spokesman said.

“Now they can seek information on the case through the embassy,” he said.

As of press time, Justo was still in detention at the Bangkok Remand Prison. Earlier, it had been rumoured that police had handed the suspect over to their Malaysian counterparts.

After Justo was arrested, a statement from PetroSaudi said the firm was relieved that the suspect would now face justice through the courts and that it had been the victim of a regrettable crime that had been politicised in Malaysia. “We are happy to finally set the record straight and we apologise to the Malaysian people for the harm that one of our unscrupulous ex-employees has caused to them,” the statement read.

These stories are revealing. It is believed that this conspiracy to topple Prime Minister Najib is a very complicated association of Opposition and former BN leaders, through Sarawak Report. Apparently, the information which appeared in Sarawak Report have been used, echoed and amplified by these politicians.

The investigations conducted by the Thai Police revealed that Sarawak Report altered the information obtained from the ones purchased from Xavier Justo.

The Straits Times story:

Thai police say London-based news outlet tampered with documents to discredit Najib

PUBLISHED JUL 18, 2015, 1:25 PM SGT

BANGKOK – Thai police confirmed that a news outlet based in London had tampered with classified documents belonging to Saudi oil company PetroSaudi International with the intent of discrediting Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak and his administration.

Without naming the news organisation, Thai police spokesman Lt Gen Prawut Thavornsiri said it belonged to a Malaysia-born woman who had moved to Britain, New Straits Times (NST) reported.

He told the newspaper on Friday that the woman was part of a group of potential buyers interested in purchasing documents from Swiss citizen Xavier Andre Justo, a former employee of PetroSaudi who is being investigated for alledgedly blackmailing the oil company.
The firm and Malaysian state investment fund 1Malaysian Development Bhd (1MDB) were involved in a short-lived joint venture in 2009 thatMalaysia’s opposition has blamed for creating the heavy financial losses at 1MDB.

“Some members of the group, including the woman, had met with Justo three times in Thailand to determine whether the information contained in the documents was of any use to them,” he told NST.

The newspaper said Prawut was believed to be referring to Sarawak Report founder and editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown, a British national who was born in Malaysia.

Under Thai law, a person cannot be named prior to a warrant of arrest, according to the report.

The Thai police spokesman also said they had strong reason to believe that the documents were tampered with.

“The information contained in the documents that were published online appear to be different from the original digital copies retrieved from Justo’s personal computer,” he said.

Prawut also said the group had met with Justo at least once at a hotel in Singapore.

“We have strong evidence to support alleged meetings and we can confirm that they did take place in both countries,” he said.

The group comprised prominent figures from the Malaysian opposition, government and media.

His comments came after a former editor of Sarawak Report, Lester Melanyi, alleged that Malaysian opposition leaders had conspired with the whistleblower website on the 1MDB issue.

Prawut told NST that after negotiations concluded, a chat group was created on social messaging service WhatsApp to discuss the terms of payment.

“After they agreed on the selling price, they signed a contract whereby Justo would sell a ‘software company’ to the group. And the remaining money from the ‘purchase’ would be used to pay Justo,” he said.

This was similar to a money laundering tactic commonly employed by criminal gangs, the Thai spokesman said, adding that Thai police were ready to share this information with their Malaysian counterparts.

“I am also of the opinion that a case should be opened in Singapore as the money laundering started in that country, ” he was quoted as saying by NST.

Thai police arrested Justo at his plush home on the resort island of Koh Samui on June 22. The 49-year-old had worked for PetroSaudi from 2010 to 2011.

“The CEO of that company was Xavier’s close friend. I don’t know what conflict they had; he (Justo) walked out and requested money from the company,” The Straits Times quoted Prawut as saying.

“The company paid him about four million Swiss francs at the time he walked out.

“After two years Xavier called the CEO again and asked for some money again. Before he left, he had copied every email of the company from the server. It was in 2013 that he called the company and said I know all your secrets, and I want US$2.5 million (S$3.4 million).”

When PetroSaudi turned down his demand, Justo then approached the other group, said Prawut.

Justo would be charged with blackmail, Prawut told The Straits Times.

On July 3, Sarawak Report and the Wall Street Journal claimed that US$700 million linked to 1MDB was deposited into Najib’s private bank accounts over the past two years. Najib has denied ever using state funds for “personal gain”.

This very much prove that Sarawak Report editor in chief Clare Rewcastle-Brown manipulated information and fabricated other information and laced them with lies.

This isn’t the first time Sarawak Report has been fabricating information and lying. The news portal has been incessantly fabricating information and lies with the explicit purpose to cause anguish and arousing Malaysians to topple the government, beginning with Sarawak, Sabah and the Federal Government.

The fabricated information, manipulation and lies created by Sarawak Report found its convenience if not allies, with Opposition Leaders and tools for them to topple the BN ruling government for quite sometime.

Local influential business newspaper The Edge and private radio station BFM 89.9 also used the Sarawak Report materials to present 1MDB in a very bad light. Both are part of a media group controlled by pro-Anwarista tycoon Tong Kooi Ong.

Tong was implicated by his very close association with Anwar when former Bank Negara Assistant Governor Dato’ Abdul Murad Khalid in his statutory declaration about the ‘cronyism and war chest of Anwar Ibrahim’ dated 26 October 1999.

Some of the Neo Con Jews controlled media also used these Sarawak Report fabricated lies as references. The most recent is the Wall Street Journal and New York Times.

Former Opposition Leader and current a criminal convict Anwar Ibrahim is known for his close association and relationship with Neo Con Jews particularly notable people in the Washington D.C. corridors of power such as Madeline Albright, Robert Rubin, William Cohen, Paul Wolfowitz etc.

What is very interesting to be unravelled further is these ten Malaysian personalities which Let. Gen. Prawut mentioned which the Thai Police discovered after Justo was arrested and interrogated.

The information which has been shared through the media so far noted that the Royal Malaysian Police have yet to be allowed to interrogate Justo. There is a very important need to understand the magnitude and bigger perspective of this concerted effort to attack 1MDB, as part of the conspiracy to demonise and topple Prime Minister Najib

It is interesting to note lately as the screw is tightening, the direction of these said Malaysian personalities and even editor in chief Sarawak Report have gone towards the ‘defensive mode’.

The investigation by the Singapore Police on money laundering as per mention by Lt. Gen. Prawut is suggesting that the Malaysian media and Opposition personalities are very much involved in this conspiracy.

Time would eventually reveal the truth. It would be proven against these ‘ten black children’, as one by one shall be unveiled as accessories if not partners in crime for a sinister agenda.

A.     Pembelian tanah

B.     Tanah masih belum dijual

These postings are designed to project that the depositors’ hard earned savings have been misused to bail out 1MDB, which itself under consistent attack based on fabricated documents and lies, being echoed and amplified with consistency by some of the Neo Con Jews media.

As explained, the decision to participate in TRX was based on a sound investment calculation. The initial hype which was created a blog posting also believed to be linked to Firdaus, almost got TH to quickly hive the gold mine away for the wrong reasons.

Firdaus is never known for the ability to grasp the property business let alone do a strategic analysis on the potential of such investments. Never the less, he continuously to harp trying to play up the emotions of TH depositors, believed to be simple minded Malays with distorted angles of the investment.

Had his incessant barks be another degree steeper, probably he should have been investigated as attempting to instigate TH depositors under Sedition Act.

One interesting bit that as a Muslim, the manner he distorted and twisted facts and information to present his case should be something that worthy to be avoided especially in Ramadhan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar.

That call was actually amplified and twisted further by the pro-Anwar Ibrahim online newsportal.

Probably he had the same intention like the pro-Anwarista newsportal: To see TH depositors distrust the Government and do a run on TH.

The agenda of the pro-Anwarista newsportal is very clear, which is trying to topple Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak’s and the Federal Government which is controlled by BN. If is takes to instigate the rakyat to rise and force Prime Minister Najib out even to a situation of ‘Malaysian Spring’, then to them it shall be.

Police urged to investigate video on Sarawak Report lies and fabrication docs

Barisan Nasional Director of Strategic Communications Dato’ Abdul Rahman Dahlan urges Police to investigate a Sarawakian for admission by being an accessory to Sarawak Report editor Claire Rewcastle Brown in the falsification of documents and compounding of lies on 1MDB, in the initiative to demonise and topple Prime Minister Dato Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak.

Pro-Opposition newsportal Malaysiakini story:

S’wak Report forged docs

Radzi Razak
Updated Jul 15, 2015 5:17pm

A police report has been lodged against Sarawak Report for purportedly falsifying documents pertaining to 1MDB and colluding with opposition lawmakers.

This was revealed by BN strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan, who urged the authorities to take action.

Apart from this, the minister said police were also given a video confession from an ex-editor of Sarawak Report as well as an email allegedly from the London-based whistleblower website’s editor Claire Rewcastle.

In the email dated March 1, 2015, Rewcastle purportedly wrote: ‘Thanks! Yes it was quite a job!.. Sitting up night after night cleverly forging all those documents!!!!’

Abdul Rahman (photo) initially refused to give out any names including the opposition leaders he claimed were in league with Rewcastle and Sarawak Report, and on a ‘mission to criminalise Najib and 1MDB’.

He however relented and gave out the serial number of the police report for reporters to check out.

The police report, sighted byMalaysiakini, was lodged by one Ramesh Rao Krishnan Naidu, an NGO leader, and was made before noon in Petaling Jaya today.

The report mentions that Ramesh travelled to Kuching to meet one Lester Melanyi, who had confessed to be involved in the falsifying of documents along with Rewcastle.

Abdul Rahman then asked the Interpol, United Kingdom and Malaysian police to work together swiftly and investigate thoroughly Rewcastle’s email.

He added he was confident the police would do so in the most professional and transparent manner.

“I am also confident Interpol will extend its fullest cooperation to the Malaysian police so that the truth will prevail on the issue of the falsification of information by the Sarawak Report,” he concluded.

The named Sarawakian is Lester Anak Albert Melanyi. The video is purportedly very revealing about personalities involved in the fabrication of documents and echoing of lies.

This is Rahman’s statement earlier:

“Thanks! Yes it was quite a job!…. sitting up night after night cleverly ‘forging’ all those documents!!!!!”

This mission “Mission to criminalize Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak dan 1MDB” is definitely  sinister attempt to topple Prime Minister Najib. Needless to say, this is very serious and if Malaysians are involved, this is not ordinary crime but treachery.

This continuous effort of Claire Brown which has been carefully planned and executed, by using the international network of Neo Con Jewish controlled media is part of the agenda.

Obviously, the plot involves the Opposition which failed to topple BN in the last two general elections. They have vested interests in the initiative to fabricate scandals using 1MDB and echoing these lies as part of getting Malaysians to be anguished and rise to topple Prime Minister Najib.

The Police should also investigate some of the Opposition leaders, which include PKR MP for Kelana Jaya Wong Chen for revealing the story about “Three BNM whistleblowers” to foreign journalist in Hong Kong the week before it was made open in Malaysia.

Hopefully, the investigation would open perspective the sinister agenda to do a ‘Malaysian Spring’.

Deformis intentiones hubris

The Low Yatt incident over the weekend is a demonstration how ICT democracy is abused and distorted, and within seconds social media was misused to viralise lies and hatred with the intent to instigate.

Highly plausible, the city could be drawn into something really ugly so close to Hari Raya into something very ugly. Now, Police looking for several notable social media personalities for questioning.

The Malay Mail Online:

Cops to detain Papagomo, several others for spreading false news on Low Yat fracas

Monday July 13, 2015
05:22 PM GMT+8
KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — Blogger Papagomo is in the soup again for his controversial online posts, this time for allegedly spreading unverified information about the bloody brawl last night at popular tech mall Low Yat Plaza.

According to Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, Papagomo, whose real name is Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, will be hauled up along several others identified by the police for spreading malicious talk online.

“These stories are all made up and some social media users have been making it worse by spreading it and speculating further.

“One of them is Papagomo and few others.

“I have ordered that they be hauled up and we will take immediate action,” Khalid told reporters after visit to Low Yat Plaza here.

Khalid did not, however, specify what were the contents shared by Papagomo on the Low Yat fracas that had landed him in trouble.

A riot broke out last night at Low Yat Plaza that left five people injured, including several journalists. Police have since detained 18 people believed involved in the melee.

The riot reportedly started after a 22-year-old man was handed over on Friday to the police for allegedly stealing a phone from a store at the popular tech mall. Disgruntled by the incident, the man then allegedly contacted his friends who later returned to the mobile phone store, assaulted its workers and caused some RM70,000 worth of damages.

Rumours swirled on social media after the alleged theft that the Chinese trader had sold the Malay man a counterfeit phone, leading to calls for boycotts of “cheating” Chinese traders and the complex.

The incident then led to a mob descending on the mall last night.

It is unfair to judge how significant of what social media operators such as Papagomo did to stir up the Low Yat story as it unfolds and escalated with his participation, without proper investigation.

However, the reach of Papagomo’s social media network must have some negative effects.

The reasons are simple. Papagomo used footage of a person being traumatised to create the necessary visual effects which should easily draw emotion and anguish of the followers or audience of his social media account.

Papagomo in casual interesting chat with UMNO VP Hishamuddin Hussein, believed to be at latter's home

Papagomo in casual interesting chat with UMNO VP Hishamuddin Hussein, believed to be at latter’s home

Papagomo is a social media personality which has the privilege of being chummy-chummy with some very high up leaders within UMNO and Government. Infact, his name was even lauded as an example of a social media hero during one of the UMNO General Assemblies.

The fact is that Papagomo whose name is Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris was a convicted ex-traffic policemen for extorting bribe from a youth which he caught possessing a needle of illicit narcotics.

What happened in Low Yat was thuggery and Papagomo, who is seen as a social media warrior for UMNO, is a contributor for escalating the ill intent of manipulated racial clashes which was actually started on a simple theft.

Probably UMNO leaders especially at very high level should be very selective with people they consort with, especially in the eyes of public where the advancement of technology and communication allows information to be transmitted in speed of light.

Patronage of very high up UMNO leaders provide former convicts like Papagomo to have a place within the UMNO cyberwarfare operations and fame and reach of followers could bring about adverse and very unproductive effect for the nation.

Smallish scuffle, bigger exageration

The scuffle of Saturday evening at the Oppo store in Low Yatt Plaza in the Bukit Bintang area has been investigated by KL Police CID for theft and assault and battery.

Apparently the stories about this scuffle even in the connotation of ‘something racial about to clash’ spreading in viral speed on social media is related or being distorted to be a racial issue.

KUALA LUMPUR: Another disturbance broke out in Low Yat Plaza following Saturday’s melee between customers and sales clerks in a smartphone shop, but police managed to contain the situation in the nick of time.

On Sunday night, a group gathered at the plaza in an apparent continuation of Saturday’s fiasco.

The group numbering over 100, is believed to have been led by Malay-Muslim group Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Dakwah Islamiah Se-Malaysia (Pekida), gathered near the mall by around 6.30pm.
Dang Wangi CID Chief DSP M. Gunalan said about 20 to 30 police officers, including plain-clothes policemen, were deployed to the scene to monitor the situation.

“We held negotiations with the group, but there were a few people who did not heed our instructions,” he explained.

DSP Gunalan said police had to apprehend a man, believed to be working in the shopping complex, from charging towards the group.

The man was carrying a wooden stick.

“We arrested him and took him to the station. He was only one man going against a group of many. He could have been hurt,” he added.

At around 8.35pm, the group entered the mall but police managed to bring them out again.

“We want to get proper justice,” said a member of the group who identified himself as an “Ayahanda”.

“We will provide a lawyer to uphold justice,” he said, adding that they were there “only to protest”.

At around 8.35pm, the group entered the mall but police managed to bring them out again.

The mall was cordoned off by police at about 9pm.

The group had gathered to protest what they claimed was “biased investigations” by the police.

At about 10pm, the situation had subsided and the crowd had dispersed.

Kuala Lumpur CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said police arrested had arrested four individuals aged between 22 and 25 to facilitate investigations.

“Three were arrested in connection with theft,” he said.

Meanwhile, one individual was arrested for provocative behaviour at the protest Sunday. Another four individuals will be picked up to assist in investigations.

SAC Tajuddin assured that police will conduct fair investigation towards all those involved.

On Saturday, a fight erupted between the thugs and sales clerks after a group of youth returned to take revenge against the retailers who allegedly caught one of them shoplifting earlier on Saturday.

Some commenters on social media claimed that the brawl was due to one of the youths being sold a fake phone, but the claim has not been verified.

Police are also hunting the remaining youths who caused around RM70,000 worth of damage to the shop.

IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed the arrest and admitted the investigation is ongoing.

On the other hand, Bukit Bintang UMNO Division was quick to ask everyone to remain calm and allow the Police and Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumerism enforcement officers to complete their investigations.

Relying on lies and fabricated story

PKR MP admitted to foreign journalist in Hong Kong that the Opposition Leaders rely on reports and lies which have been proven to be concoction of lies, fabricated and distorted information of Sarawak Report trying to sustain their relevance as elected representatives in Parliament.

London based online publication Sarawak Report, which is a creature created Global Witness and Open Society Forum are NGOs funded by Neo Con Jews such as George Soros, for an agenda.

It is very dangerous for the country if an Opposition MP openly admit that the elected representatives who are supposed to be the ‘check and balance’ rely on lies, more so fabricated from abroad and translate them into political currency to confuse and stir the controversial storm in Malaysia continuously.

The Opposition in their quest to come to power when they failed at general elections so many times over and their own parties are now facing a trouble from implosion and fragmentation caused by internal fighting, are clearly getting indirect assistance from abroad.

Hence, when an entity with an agenda like Sarawak Report is systematic with the undoing the political, social, economic, cultural and judicial system of this country, the Opposition is an accessory if nor a tool to the agenda.

In short, by admitting to associating themselves to the work of rogue elements from abroad, the Opposition is a threat to the national security.

Wong Chen who is also MP for Kelana Jaya also admitted that the Chinese are racist.

Speaking to Foreign Correspondence Club in Hong Kong, former Wong continues to play the rhetorics of the Opposition. Majority of Malaysians reject Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak’s leadership and administration because BN did not get popular votes despite obtaining 60% of Parliament.

The first past post system Westminster-styled democracy is such, David Cameron led the Tories to win 330 of the 650 House of Commons seats in the recently concluded May 2015 UK general election despite only obtaining 36% of the popular votes.

Inadvertently, Wong also admitted that the Oppositions’ plan to manage Malaysia is a derivative plan of Prime Minister Najib’s transformation plan and the extension but slightly tweaked New Economic Policy, to ensure the Malays are being brought into a bigger middle income society.

There are lessons to learn from MPs like Wong Chen, especially when they are abroad speaking to journos. They would quietly admit of their position and plans.
