Fourth Prime Minister, Fifth UMNO President and Third BN Chairman Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad campaigning against UMNO/BN candidates on Opposition (Amanah/Pakatan Harapan) platform in PRK Sg Besar yesterday and Kuala Bangsar today is a clear evidence political treachery to the principles, ideology and nationalism politics he was involved for over 60 years.

Nur Jazlan: Dr Mahathir’s action a betrayal to Umno, BN
JOHOR BARU: The decision of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to campaign against Barisan Nasional in the Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar by-elections is an act of betrayal to the party and Umno, said Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed (pic).
The Deputy Home Minister said his act of deceit would be part of the legacy left behind by the former Umno president.
“I do not know the rationale for his action and if he knows it, the act is a betrayal to the party and his legacy as the prime minister of the country for 22 years.
“Nobody must forget that what we are enjoying today is the fruits of his labour for 22 years, and if all that is destroyed due to his ‘betrayal’, it will also be a legacy left behind by him,” the Pulai Umno division chief told reporters here on Sunday.
Nur Jazlan, who is also the Member of Parliament for Pulai, said Dr Mahathir had in the past taught the community to not be involved in too much politics but rather concentrate on developing the country.
“He had carried out Operasi Lalang to detain Opposition leaders like Lim Kit Siang and Mat Sabu for allegedly posing a threat to the security of the country, but now, he is sharing the same table with them to urge voters to oppose Barisan,” Nur Jazlan added. – Bernama
The longest serving UMNO President resorted to joining forces with the Opposition and to the shock of many especially within UMNO, working in arms in longtime DAP nemesis to topple Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak. Now, it is official the battle is against UMNO/BN.
What started out as an attempt to publicly oust Prime Minister Najib fifteen months ago failed miserably after several poor and failed political stunts and seditious calls. This is not withstanding a series of lies and going so low to seditiously sell off the good name of His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong.
In the holy month of Ramadan, Tun Dr. Mahathir resorted to perpetuate the lies and defamation to justify his personal quest to oust Prime Minister Najib.
In Kuala Bangsar today on Opposition platform, Tun Dr. Mahathir gave two condition for him to return to UMNO. One is the oust of Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak and reform of the grand old nationalist party.
It should be taken as a bad Ramadan joke by someone who is fasting and the probability of low sugar in the blood might affect the straight sense-ness of the soon to be 91 year old supposedly statesman.
The oust of UMNO President should be done by UMNO members. And he should make the call on an UMNO platform. However, making the call on a DAP-sponsored Opposition platform in dead treachery against UMNO and the Malays.
Considering that he is no longer an UMNO member after leaving the party for the third time in February and making the call on an Opposition platform during a by-election, the two call for UMNO is actually a really failed political pun.
No wonder Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi pleaded to him to stop talking or risk being perceived as a “Senile old man”.

11 police reports lodged in K Kangsar to date
4pm: Kuala Kangsar – Police have received 11 reports and five investigation papers have been opened since campaigning for the Kuala Kangsar by-election started a week ago.
Apart from the case of paragliders in the constituency on nomination day, one investigation paper was opened after a person complained his number was used to send SMSes urging people to support Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah).
Perak police chief Abd Rahim Hanafi in a statement today says police are also investigating the case where Amanah was told to stop its ceramah, at which they had received threats their loudspeakers would be destroyed for not respecting Muslims who were offering terawih prayers.
Police are also investigating a scuffle involving members of the Youth branch of Indian Progressive Front (IPF) under Section 323 of the Penal Code.
Abd Rahim also confirms they are looking into a police report lodged into the ‘disappearance’ of the BN candidate’s banners originally placed at the junction leading to Bukit Chandan.
Zahid on his alleged RM230m: Shut up Dr M, or be called senile
3.27pm: PDRM tactical HQ, Kuala Kangsar – Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid tells former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir to shut up before someone says the 91-year-old is senile.
Mahathir while at the 1MDB colloquium in Kuala Kangsar earlier today, told the crowd Zahid had declared he had RM230 million when the latter was Umno Youth chief.
Zahid when asked at a press conference responds curtly, “I am of the view that he better shut up, otherwise people may describe him as senile.”
“That’s all I have to say, don’t ask me about him (Mahathir). Better to shut up before others call him senile,” he replies.
Zahid however neither denies nor confirms if he possesses the huge sum of money alleged by the former PM.
It is really heart wrenching to watch him to stoop so low to fulfil a personal obsession, in the holiest month for the Muslims. As a supposedly statesman, that is morally treacherous.
