Subservient to a despicable convict

Fourth Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad recent appearance in Court of Appeal in support of ex-Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s injunction of the NSC Act, simply translate that ex-Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Mohd. Yassin is subservient to the informal PKR Leader.

The Malay Mail Online story:

Muhyiddin now subservient to Anwar, says PM’s aide

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s political future now depends on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the prime minister’s press secretary said today after the PKR de facto leader’s meeting with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Datuk Seri Tengku Sariffuddin said this was because it would be Anwar who agrees or disagrees with former prime minister Dr Mahathir’s “pleadings”.

“So Tan Sri Muhyiddin is now subservient to Datuk Seri Anwar.

“Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s disloyalty to the party and government has been repaid by natural justice. What a difference a year makes,” Tengku said in a statement.

Tengku also claimed that Dr Mahathir’s agenda has failed, describing the elder statesman’s recent visit to Anwar in court, the first meeting between the two in 18 years since Dr Mahathir sacked Anwar as his deputy, as “further evidence of his desperation”.

“It shows that Tun Mahathir’s selfish political agenda has failed. It also demonstrates that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will have to play second fiddle to Datuk Seri Anwar in Tun Mahathir’s alliance with the opposition,” said Tengku.

Muhyiddin is now president of newly-formed Bumiputera-centric party, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, after he was sacked from Umno and as deputy to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

The Adviser of new party Pribumi Bersatu recent conduct simply placed Muo-born son of a revered religious teacher who proclaimed to be “UMNO Totok”, to below the criminal who subjected many persons to get into unlawful and taboo sexual relations.

Since UMNO statutory divisional meetings coming to tail end, there would be less coverage on political speeches by UMNO Leaders especially those who gained prominence such as Cabinet Ministers.

However, it is unlikely the take up of the Malays and Bumiputeras into Tun Dr. Mahathir-Muhyiddin’s new party Pribumi Bersatu would strike prominence since relatively, hardly anyone is practically interested to sign up.

S0 far, the party only managed to attract frustrated, dejected and personally dissatisfied individuals within UMNO.

It was unlike when Anwar was sacked and ‘Reformasi’ movement was launched, where prominent UMNO Youth and Anwar supporters at Division level left and in many places crippled UMNO.

It was clearly demonstrated in the 10GE where Cabinet Ministers such as Megat Junid Megat Ayub, Abdul Hamid Othman, Mustapha Mohamad, Annuar Musa and the whole state of Terengganu were lost to the Opposition.

So was it as the consequence of Team A Vs Team B in party leadership challenge of April 1987. UMNO split almost right in the middle. Then Prime Minister Dr Mahathir lost Musa Hitam, Tengku Razaleigh, Rais Yatim, Shahrir Samad, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Abdul Ajib Ahmad.

  1. “Since UMNO statutory divisional meetings coming to tail end, there would be less coverage on political speeches by UMNO Leaders especially those who gained prominence such as Cabinet Ministers.”

I guess ‘the less coverage’ must be because…. reporters are not allowed to cover UMNO’s divisional meeting. All that are heard was about PM, DPM and Hishamudin officiating them.

If reporters were allowed… there must be strict rules to adhere. Delegates too, must have been warned, not to mention 1MDB, Jho Low and DoJ’s kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiatives.

Of-course… the delegates also cannot ask why Deloitte and 1MDB’s Directors havedeclared that their financial report for 2013 & 2014… ‘should no longer be relied upon’ . As a matter of fact, they have disowned it… just after that DoJ action.
By the way… could the delegates asked… when will 2015 Financial Report be ready? Now is already Mid Sept. 2016.

    • Thank you.

      However you’re just being silly.

No press is prohibited to cover UMNO if Cabinet Ministers not involved. Press cover, report and publish stories which have news worthiness for their business.

In the times where there are social media, the absence of mainstream media doesn’t mean that there is prohibition on coverage.

You don’t see the news that you want to see not because there is a gag but there isn’t any. 191 UMNO Divisions’ meetings, four times.

Now pls tell us which media co wants to cover all 764 annual meetings at Division level?

Pointless for party delegates to ask party leaders on statutory duties and obligations of corporations. There is a BoD and its members have statutory and fiduciary duty to serve.

None of party leaders ever sat in the BoD. And that is a fact.

We are not sure the provisions in the law when the statutory auditors already signed off auditted accounts and later making statements of absence of responsibility.

The fact is that the auditted accounts already been filed with SSM and the statutory auditors earned their fee, suggests the statutory obligation which they earlier accepted and signed off on their own knowledge and terms.

It is clear your frustration is arisen from the expectation of turnout from a series of pre-tempted allegations and querries not quite fitting to then the available information.

The fact the game is distancing away day by day from where Tun Dr Mahathir hoped it be as the Achilles heel to bring Prime Minister Najib, is the benefit of the victors.

  2. Big dog, the name itself shows loyalty without boundaries. The topic now is not about Mahathir or mahyudin or anwar. It is about the future of the country and it subjects.

  3. someone BIG is on it’s way to BAMBOO RIVER
