I am a near liberal minded right winger who is actually very complicated. My motto used to be “A simple man with complicated wants!”. There is always an underlying principle that I look up to, in forming an opinion, even its unsolicited. My world, is basically moving around the apple and gem of my eye (which I am so addicted at!).
I watch too much sitcoms. I eat too much unhealthy diets (I need to eat much more fresh fruits and vegetables instead). I know I have to offer more prayer and repent for all my worldly sins, soon! Time management is something I am still unable to grasps. Too much reading to catch up, too many phone calls not made just to say ‘Hi’ and touch base.
I know I have to say “I love you” more to the three most important gals (spread into three generations) in my life and I know I should tolerate my inlaws more as well………………………………………………………………….. ๐
I know I have to learn to live with my closest friends’ shortcomings as well……………………….(sorry guys, patience is NEVER my best of traits!). Friendship and loyalty are some of the virtues I really treasure, REALLY……………………………………………………………………………………. ๐

Kawan-kawan, please fasten your seat belts now. I thought that I knew something about what is really going on in the administration of Abdullah Badawi. Today I found out I have not even scratched the surface. The following is panas-panas news. You may want to hit the ejection button (not yours but theirs) after reading this.
Firstly, the shareholders and/or stakeholders of Air Asia (directly, indirectly, through proxies, etc.) include Kamaluddin Abdullah Badawi, Kalimullah Maseerul Hassan (also chairman of Tune Hotels and Air AsiaX), Khairy Jamaluddin, Tony Fernandez, etc.
We all know the story of Air Asia. Well, we all thought it was a rags to riches story. It is actually a story about riches. The rags part is actually very hazy.
When MAS entered into a phase of ‘restructuring’ about three years ago, Air Asia, through Tony Fernandez, struck fast and furious. Before we go further, you may want to ask why did MAS have to suffer yet another ‘restructuring’? That is a story by itself for another day but just bear in mind that Badawi’s brother, Ibrahim, is the owner of the catering company (Skychef?) that used to supply mineral water at RM35 a case to MAS.
With that kind of pricing, surely MAS would need ‘restructuring’. Anyway, Air Asia stepped in and pushed the Gomen for a ‘rationalisation’ of the domestic air routes in Malaysia. Air Asia asked to be given MAS’ Sabah and Sarawak routes. MAS could keep flying in Semenanjung, they said. Despite objections by MAS, Air Asia was granted its wish.
Once MAS lost its Sabah and Sarawak routes to Air Asia, there was a staff redundancy. So MAS had to organise a VSS. MAS demanded that since Air Asia was taking over their Sabah and Sarawak routes it would make some of their staff redundant so Air Asia should pay MAS some compensation.
Everyone (MAS, Gomen and even Air Asia) agreed that compensation was payable to MAS. But Air Asia would not pay anything. Finally, the Gomen (err that means you and me lah, Encik Taxpayer) paid the compensation to MAS, which MAS promptly used in one of the most expensive VSS payments in our history.
Then, within one year, Air Asia realised that the Sabah and Sarawak routes were not profitable. They never were. MAS was performing national service in Sabah and Sarawak. Flying chickens and goats is not a money-making venture.
No problem. Air Asia made another wish. They told the Gomen, we have to return these air routes back to MAS. Again MAS objected. Again overruled. Not relevant.
Then came the handing over ceremony of the air routes and the airplanes. When they took over the Sabah/Sarawak routes, Air Asia had ‘acquired’ seven airplanes from MAS in perfect working condition. (MAS does have one of the best safety records in the world.)
However, when Air Asia ‘returned’ the planes to MAS, only one was left in working condition. The other six planes were grounded, not fit for flying and could not fly.
In actual fact, Air Asia was cannibalising parts from the six planes to keep the seventh one flying. Again MAS objected. Again overruled. Not relevant. It eventually cost MAS in excess of RM50 million to make the planes flyable again. This was a direct subsidy to ‘rags to riches’ Air Asia’s profits.
Then Air Asia started eyeing the lucrative KL-Singapore routes. Tighten your seat belts. This one will really jolt. But they went about it the roundabout way. They said they wanted to go international. They did (some) but
international routes are tough. No Zaki, Badawi, Khairy, Kalimullah or Kamaluddin to make your wishes come true.
But the KL-Singapore sector was generating RM40 million in PROFITS to MAS. This was the plum in the pudding. Air Asia wanted it badly. So they made another wish. It came true. This is how they did it. Air Asia’s bid to break into the KL-Singapore sector was first discussed in Cabinet when Badawi was on holiday overseas. Najib chaired the meeting and Air Asia’s application was rejected.
The application was rejected for two main reasons: i. By 2009 the whole of ASEAN becomes open sky anyway.
ASEAN airlines can fly to all ASEAN capitals without restrictions. So why open up KL-Singapore in double quick time? If budget flights are allowed between KL-Singapore, KLIA will die an unnatural death. KLIA will become a feeder airport for Singapore’s Changi. People will fly from KL to Singapore and then fly off from Singapore to the rest of the world. MAS will then die a natural death. So the request was declined.
Then Badawi came back from his travels and asked Tengku Adnan the Minister of Tourism to prepare a paper on tourism, linking MAS, Air Asia, SIA, etc., to tourist arrivals. At the next Cabinet meeting chaired by Badawi, he asked Tengku Adnan to present the ‘Cabinet paper’. Insiders say that the paper was an ‘out of Agenda’ item โ meaning it surprised everyone, but the dunggus approved it nonetheless. Air Asia got its wish again. Tengku Adnan also secured his Putrajaya seat.
Now here is the killer. Soon after Air Asia started flying the KL-Singapore sector, they started giving away 300,000 free tickets, 5 sen tickets and all the other gimmicks. Singapore is believed to be subsidising Air Asia for all these expensive gimmicks. For SIA, losing RM40 million (S$17 million) profit from the KL-Singapore sector is chicken feed. Air Asia is feeding thousands of transit passengers from KL to Changi . Air Asia is providing RM19 bus rides from KL to KLIA. From KLIA, passengers fly almost free to Changi. From Changi the passengers can connect to the world.
Now, Air Asia is making another wish – they want to fly direct from Kuching, KK, Penang, Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, etc., to Changi. They will earn even more ‘subsidies’ from Singapore. KLIA will drop dead later, MAS will die first. This is how we go from ‘rags to riches’. And we all thought Tony Fernandez was such a great guy too. The shareholders and/or stakeholders of Air Asia (directly, indirectly, through proxies, etc.) include Kamaluddin, Kalimullah (MCE Grade 3 graduate) Khairy Jamaluddin, Tony Fernandez, etc.
Yes, we believe in open skies, competition and all that. But friends, fellow Malaysians, this is the PM, his son, his S-I-L and his cronies lah. How can they sell out their own country? But this is what they are doing.

Sorry I made a mistake. Just lost RM2 billion. Hope its okโ
Why canโt Hishammuddin Hussein, JJ, Nazri Aziz or even Zeti hold the position. It is because Nor Mohd Yakcop can spin all the berbillion billion corridors and give them to his cronies โ Khairy, Kalimullah, Patrick Bodowi, Ting (Sarawak) and others. The Iskandar region has been bankrupted by Khairy and his boys, Patrick whose fame to name is to build a horse ranch in Seri Kembangan is dreaming of becoming an Anantha Krishnan by building a Twin Towers in Penang to bankrupt the Penang economy. Ting โ Bakun remember???????
All the PR and advertising job in the so-called Korridors goes to who? Pox Media โ which is run by Nor Mohd Yakcop crony Wong Sulong and Kalimullahโs colleague in the โSingapore Special Branch Informers Deptโ Brendan Pereira. All Government Linked Companies are being forced to take Pox Media as their PR agency so that the directors can buy up more restaurants like Vincenzo in Bangsar.
The concept of keeping Nor Mohd Yakcop means Kalimullah and Tony can secure the nationโs whole transport industry and together with Khairy want to have everything in their pockets before the sleepy headed leader of the country calls it a day and Mongol related man becomes Prime Minister (if they let him that is).
The Malays in Penang must vote Nor Mohd Yakcop out if they do not want the Mamak Gang (Khairy, Kalimullah and Nor Mohd Yakcop) from pulling the carpet under their feet. The Chinese will have their CM, the Mamaks their Second Finance Minister and the Malays zilch.

While the media, including the mainstream media heaps praise and awe on Datuk Tony Fernandez, and the business media fawns over him, disaffected Malaysians love use Air Asia’s profitability to bash MAS and starry eyed Neo Liberals (I’m anti Neo Liberal) wax eloquent about Air Asia representing the “triumph” of the free market and competition over state-owned monopoly, this article puts things in a clearer perspective.
This comment reveals the reality of Malaysian politics which is very much a battle between factions and their cronies within the ruling party, quite often moreso than a battle between government and opposition.

Malaysian politics have taken center stage while most other countries are in turmoilS with political instability and famine without food, proper water and sanitations.How lucky we Malaysians are and yet we are fighting each other in the the august parliament. Some people said the parliament cum zoo will further deteriorate into another EXPLOSIVE MAYDAY!
Looking back it would have been a wonderful life overseas, especially in New Zealand, when one can just indulge in harbor fishing for the entire day with no worries of being mugged, pick-pocket or attacked in the streets during broad daylight. Malaysians today are living in fear in our own country, and yet the political masters, past and present are turning their deaf ears to the rakyat.
You know why, as some of these ungrateful leaders can scooth off with all their illegal gotten wealth in their private jets anytime and anywhere.Corruptions and millions of easy monies floating around and it will be an uphill task for the ACA to investigate so many big fish out there, though the smaller fish are being turned into pawns as a matter for public eyewash only. Even with the newly ACA Commission to be established based on Hongkong initiative, I bet my last dollar that things will not get better overnight, as we Malaysians have different culture, unlike HongKong, Singapore, Taiwan and also China with the Chinese majority. Don’t get me wrong that there are no corruptions in those countries but the Chinese blood have stronger integrity.
Today, corruptions appear in the form of monies, but political corruptions are becoming the order of the day which will ruin this country. Nobody can guarantee that the Pakatan Rakyat if voted to power and rule Malaysia, and, those in power and those who walk in the corridor of power will be spared from such shameful acts to cheat the people by the billions, facilitated by political patronage. Maybe due to their marriage of convenient and corruptions, the newly found government will be worst than Barisan Nasional.
Honestly speaking, even as a loyalist in UMNO, I do not trust all my political comrades and all those kaki ampu in benefits, though some may perceive to be clean in some ways only. Human beings are not perfect but only Almighty God the Creator is perfect in Heaven and Hell.So let us not play God and politicise everything to our advantages and blind the people who may eventually turn their backs against the ways we managed their lives and the nation’s natural resources.
Over the last 50 years, we have witnessed the pros and cons in our endeavours to develop Malaysia in what it is today. Today, we are still paying for the high inflated costs of development which had divided this nation, where there is no absolute equality amongst the various races of community. The majority of the people are happy, whether one is a Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban or others even in the cities, but it is the greedy and selfish politicians of this country that had ruined this nation.

Me and my friends would appreciate it if you would do an article on the 500 Malaysian Chinese stranded in London after tearing or throwing away their passports believing some wrong advice that renouncing citizenship would enhance their chances of becoming British citizens. Many are from Malacca and Penang, presumably the DAP kind. About 100 were demonstrating in London –
it was in the papers and on TV the day before.

I warn the Malays here, beware of the Hindraf phenomenon..
Hindraf had representatives sent to India, they spoke to the right extremist Hindu groups (the same who massacred Muslims in Gujarat and are still a govt there).
in late 2007, they were all over India to spread anti-Malaysia sentiment, colouring it with anti-Muslim hatred.

I have a friend who was my class mate while studying Engineering together, today he is a branch leader of “Shiv Sena” another right wing hindu extremist organisation.
He knew I am in Malaysia, so he emailed me to ask the going ons in malaysia, cos apparently he was visited by a Hindraf delegation in Mumbai, and was fed stories of attrocities against Hindus by Malay Muslims. projek Danga Bay di Johor Bahru.
3. KPRJ ialah syarikat yang dimiliki sepenuhnya oleh Kerajaan Negeri
yang ditubuhkan di bawah Akta Syarikat 1965. KPRJ diketuai oleh
seorang Ketua Eksekutif iaitu Johar Salim Bin Yahaya. Pengerusi KPRJ

4. Sepanjang 12 bulan sebelum pengumuman tesebut, harga saham TTB
paling tinggi ialah RM0.945 dan paling rendah ialah RM0.56.
5. IWH dimiliki 70% oleh Credence Resources Sdn Bhd (โCRSBโ) milik
Datoโ Lim Kang Hoo dan keluarganya manakala 30% dimiliki KPRJ.
6. Harga penutup TTB sebelum pengumuman ialah 75 sen sesaham dan harga
tawaran merupakan premium 1 sen dari harga akhir sebelum pengumuman.
7. KPRJ akan mendapat jumlah RM168.72 juta dari penjualan ini.
Walaubagaimanapun, cara pembayaran samada tunai atau tidak masih belum
jelas.
8. Selepas urusniaga dibuka semula pada 2 Februari 2012, harga TTB
ditutup pada 83 sen iaitu melonjak 10% daripada harga sebelumnya 75
sen.
9. Sebagai perbandingan, dalam pembelian saham Proton oleh DRB Hicom,
harga tawaran (RM5.50) berbanding harga penutup terakhir (RM5.18)
menunjukkan premium sebanyak 32 sen atau 6.2%.
ISU & PERSOALAN
1. Apakah perlunya dan tujuan KPRJ menjual kepentingan saham
โcontrolling stakeโ kepada Dato Lim Kang Hoo?
2. KPRJ terdesak sangat nak jual ke? Atau ada tangan-tangan ghaib yang
terdesak nak memenuhkan poket-poket mereka bagi menghadapi hari-hari
akhir persaraannya?
3. Kenapa harga yang dipersetujui hanya 1 sen lebih tinggi dari harga
penutup pada 30 Januari 2012?
4. Kenapa penjualan dibuat tergesa-gesa? Kenapa tidak menunggu
sehingga pengumuman mengenai Tanah Pengerang memberi impak harga saham
yang lebih tinggi sebelum mempersetujui tawaran harga 76 sen?
5. Kenapa tidak memanggil pakarunding seperti CIMB Merchant atau
AMMerchant untuk membuat penilaian terhadap cadangan Dato Lim Kang
Hoo?
6. Mengapa tidak menyuruh kakitangan KPRJ sendiri untuk membuat
penilaian (analysis) tawaran tersebut supaya satu independent
valuation dapat dibuat.
7. Jika KPRJ memang berhasrat menjual dari awal, kenapa tidak
dipanggil atau dibuat satu tawaran terbuka supaya KPRJ menerima
tawaran terbaik seperi โopen tenderโ?
8. Kenapa jangkamasa tawaran dibuat (pada 31/1/2012) dan tawaran
diterima (31/1/2012) dan tawaran diumumkan (31/1/2012) iaitu dalam
tempoh 1 hari begitu tergesa-gesa? Seperti ada yang tidak kena di sini
!
9. Kenapa ahli Lembaga Pengarah KPRJ yang lain (selain Pengerusi โ
Menteri Besar dan CEO โ Johar Salim Yahaya ) tidak diberi peluang
untuk meneliti tawaran tersebut dengan lebih mendalam dengan memberi
lebih masa dan notis?
10. Adakah terdapat elemen tidak telus dan adil atau โgross
negligenceโ dalam urusniaga ini?
11. Adakah terdapat unsur rasuah atau suapan dalam urusniaga ini
terutama kepada ahli Lembaga Pengarah KPRJ yang juga berada dalam
Lembaga Pengarah IWH iaitu Johar Salim, Dato Ayub Mion dan Dato Shahir
Nasir?
12. Adakah terdapat unsure pecah amanah atau CBT dalam urusniaga ini
kerana pengarah-pengarah KPRJ adalah penjawat awam yang diamanahkan
menjaga kepentingan rakyat negeri Johor?
13. Dimanakah peranan Unit Perancang Ekonomi Negeri Johor (UPEN) dalam
kes ini ? Adakah pihak UPEN telah memberikan nasihat yang wajar
berhubung dengan cadangan penjualan ini?
14. Mengapa pihak UPEN turut bersekongkol dengan Johar Salim Yahaya?
Adakah UPEN tidak dapat menghidu komplot Johar yang berhasrat menjual
TTB?
ANALISA URUSNIAGA
โข Harga tawaran 76 sen yang diterima oleh KPRJ menunjukkan seolah-olah
โcontrolling stakeโ tidak mempunyai nilai premium langsung.
Sepatutnya penjualan controlling stake mestilah mempunyai sedikit
premium antara 10%-30%.
โข KPRJ tidak menggunakan sebarang khidmat nasihat perunding atau
jurubank untuk menilai tawaran yang dibuat oleh Lim Kang Hoo melalui
IWH. Sebaliknya, keputusan menerima tawaran tersebut dibuat pada hari
yang sama tawaran dibuat oleh IWH. Ini menimbulkan persoalan samada
urusniaga ini adil dan telus atau tidak.
โข Sekiranya 10% diambil kira atau 8 sen, ini melibatkan kerugian
sebanyak RM17.76 juta kepada KPRJ. Jika 30% atau 24 sen, kerugian
ialah RM53.28 juta.
โข KPRJ sepatutnya menunggu sehingga harga saham TTB melonjak kerana
KPRJ maklum bahawa TTB sedang menunggu perlantikan oleh Kerajaan
Negeri mengenai pembangunan tanah di Pengerang yang dijangka member
pulangan besar ekoran projek mega RAPID oleh Petronas. Setelah itu,
dengan harga yang lebih tinggi, dan menurut pakar boleh mencapai RM1
sesaham.
โข Keputusan tergesa-gesa KPRJ menerima tawaran IWH boleh dianggap
sesuatu yang tidak bijak dan mungkin mempunyai agenda tersendiri yang
bersifat peribadi dan tidak menguntungkan KPRJ. Malah ia berpotensi
merugikan KPRJ dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang.
โข Ketua Eksekutif KPRJ, Pengarah dan Menteri Besar Johor merupakan
pemegang amanah harta rakyat Johor dan keputusan menjual saham TTB
kepada IWH yang dikuasai oleh Dato Lim Kang Hoo sangat jelas tidak
menguntungkan KPRJ. Malah KPRJ tidak mempunyai keperluan menjual saham
TTB kerana KPRJ tidak mempunyai sebarang pinjaman bank untuk
dijelaskan. Situasi KPRJ berlainan dengan JCorp yang memerlukan wang
membayar pinjaman bank.
โข Jika tiada keperluan (tidak terdesak) untuk menjual saham TTB,
mengapa pula perlu menjual pada harga yang boleh ditafsirkan sebagai
sangat rendah? Adakah tawaran Dato Lim Kang Hoo untuk membeli saham
TTB tidak boleh ditolak dengan alasan yang sangat mudah iaitu (1) KPRJ
tidak terdesak memerlukan wang dan (2) harga tawaran tidak menarik?
โข Dato Lim Kang Hoo ialah seorang tokoh perniagaan yang terkenal.
Beliau adalah merupakan pemegang saham utama/pemilk kepada banyak
syarikat PLC iaitu:-
o PLS Plantation Bhd (23% milik KPRJ)
o Knusford Bhd
o Ekovest Bhd
โข Dalam kes PLS Plantation Bhd yang dikuasai Dato Lim Kang Hoo, KPRJ
sebagai pemegang saham kedua terbesar (76.5 juta saham atau 23%) tidak
pernah menerima dividen dari syarikat itu. Sekiranya jualan TTB ini
diteruskan, adalah dibimbangkan KPRJ akan menerima nasib serupa dengan
pelaburan dalam PLS yang tidak pernah menjana pulangan dividen
langsung untuk dinikmati oleh KPRJ sebagai pelabur.
โข TTB yang pada mulanya tidak mempamirkan prestasi kewangan yang
tinggi telah mula memberi keuntungan sejak beberapa tahun lalu melalui
aktiviti pembangunan dan pembinaan yang berjaya menarik minat pasaran.
Adalah kurang bijak untuk melepaskan pegangan dalam syarikat yang
mempunyai potensi besar dan peluang perniagaan yang luas.
โข Seorang yang rapat dengan urusniaga ini memberi komen berikut:-
o Johar Salim Yahaya sebagai Ketua Eksekutif KPRJ dan Naib Pengerusi
Eksekutif TTB telah mengambil tindakan yang langsung tidak beretika.
Sebagai pegawai tertinggi yang berkuasa sepenuhnya di TTB, beliau
diamanahkan untuk menjaga kepentingan KPRJ dan Kerajaan Negeri Johor
dan seluruh rakyat Johor. Beliau memang telah sedia maklum berhubung
dengan kejayaan TTB yang dilantik oleh Kerajaan Negeri sebagai pemaju
Tanah Pengerang. Beliau secara tidak jujur telah mendiamkan diri dan
tidak mengambil tindakan untuk TTB membuat pengumuman (announcement)
berhubung dengan kejayaan ini sebelum saham TTB dijual? Mengapa?
Jawapannya mudahโฆโฆkalau pengumuman dibuat sebelum dijual, sudah tentu
Datoโ Lim Kang Hoo terpaksa membayar dengan harga yang lebih tinggi!
Hakikatnya beliau memilih untuk mengkayakan Dato Lim berbanding
kebajikan rakyat Johor !
o Tahukah anda berapa banyak KPRJ rugi daripada transaksi yang sangat
mudah difahami ini? Oleh kerana KPRJ milik Kerajaan Negeri Johor, maka
setiap satu sen kerugian ini juga merupakan kerugian rakyat ! Duit
rakyat !
o Transaksi ini saya lihat hanya menguntungkan dan mengayakan kantung
beberapa kerat manusia yang mementingkan temboloknya sahaja. Manusia
bernama Johar Salim Yahaya dan kuncu-kuncunya ini tidak peduli
langsung dengan denyut nadi rakyat yang sentiasa dihimpit kesengsaraan
hidup. Beliau menganggap rakyat Johor (terutamanya Melayu) semuanya
bangang belaka. Yang bijak, yang pintar, yang mampu hanya Dato Lim
Kang Hoo!
o Berdasarkan fakta di atas, tidak syak lagi, Johar Salim Yahaya telah
melakukan Criminal Breach Of Trust (CBT)! Beliau dan tangan-tangan
perancangnya serta kuncu-kuncunya perlu didakwa dengan segera atas
jenayah terancang ini.
KESIMPULAN
Pihak kakitangan kerajaan, ahli UMNO dan pertubuhan politik lain serta
NGO dan rakyat yang perihatin dengan masalah ini harus maju ke depan
dan mendesak supaya pihak KPRJ dan Ahli Lembaga Pengarah menjawab
persoalan yang ditimbulkan dalam isu ini.
Jika tidak, sudah tentu rakyat jelata akan mengambil pendirian bahawa
Kerajaan Barisan Nasional sudah tidak boleh dipercayai untuk memikul
amanah menjaga harta dan tanah rakyat.
Sudah pasti nanti akan timbul nada kedengaran bahawa harta rakyat dan
kerajaan dengan sewenang-wenangnya dihadiahkan kepada pihak tertentu
tanpa ada pertimbangan atau โdue diligenceโ yang wajar.
Kesudahannya, pihak pembangkang akan meraih simpati rakyat dan akan
berjaya mengambil alih tampuk pemerintahan negeri Johor ini.
Urusniaga ini banyak memberi kesan yang buruk kepada parti UMNO dan
Barisan Nasional kerana akhirnya rakyat akan menagih jawapan dari UMNO
dan BN, bukan dari Dato Lim Kang Hoo atau Datoโ Abd Ghani Othman yang
akan bersara selepas ini atau dari Johar Salim Yahaya yang sudah
hampir pasti akan meninggalkan KPRJ selepas urusniaga ini selesai.
Penjualan ini harus ditangguhkan sementara dan kajian mendalam harus
dibuat untuk menilai sejauh mana penjualan ini dapat memberi manafaat
kepada KPRJ khasnya dan negeri Johor amnya.
AYUHLAH BANGKIT RAKYAT JOHOR DAN BERSAMA KITA BANTERAS KEGIATAN
MENJAHANAMKAN HARTA RAKYAT OLEH KPRJ.

Kalau difikirkan denagn akal yang cetek, ia menampakkan seperti mengkaya kan dato’ cina tu….. Bagi pendapat saya ia tak ubah seperti pertukaran saham untuk membangun negeri johor. Pembangunan bandar iskandariah bukan untuk mengkayakan individu tetapi masyarakat. Mana boleh orang tua tu duduk kat bandar besar tu sorang sorang! Kehebatan sesuatu parti hanya terserlah bila ia mendahulukan orang yang boleh diharap untuk membangunkan sesuatu projek tanpa mengira bangsa. Kalau ambil melayu, korang kata kroni pulak! Apa apa pun ada salahnya lah!
