Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces: His Majesty Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin
Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmood is expected to dive in a military operation by the Royal Malaysian Navy later today. It will be carried out off the west coast of Sabah later this morning.
In his official visit to TLDM Sepanggar Bay near Kota Kinabalu, His Majesty Tuanku will be taken to F2000 Class frigate KD Lekiu and there on will be transfered to the lead boat of the Perdana Class Scorpene submarine KD Tunku Abdul Rahman, where he will participate in a military exercise to demonstrate its full diving and deep water capabilities. His Majesty Tuanku is expected to witness several other military demonstration from the near abyss depth of the South China Sea.
This would really dispel the notion where Opposition leaders namely Permatang Pauh MP Anwar “Mat King Leather” Ibrahim, his daughter Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar and other Pakatan Rakyat leaders’ lies that the submarines are “Unable to dive and do operational duties”. Today’s military exercise would also demonstrate the operational capabilities as a strategic weapon in deep dive. On 26 July 2010, KD Tunku Abdul Rahman demonstrated life firing using the SM 39 Exocet missile, launched from 180ft below the surface.
Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar and Commander of the Submarine Force First Admiral Dato’ Rosland Omar will accompany His Majesty Tuanku.
The exercise is organised by Royal Malaysian Navy with full co-operation of MINDEF. Last month, His Majesty Tuanku was taken on a supersonic flight onboard the SU 30 MKM fighter off the west coast of Langkawi. This exercise marks the first Seri Paduka Baginda Yang DiPertuan Agong to not only fly supersonic on an air superiority fighter, but also to dive in a hunter killer submarine.

His Majesty Tuanku dived with KD Tunku Abdul Rahman at 0930hrs, accompanied by Chief of Navy Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar.

His Majesty Tuanku concluded his diving mission with KD Tunku Abdul Rahman at 1245hrs. The dive in the South China Sea exceeded 1,000ft depth. It is a record indeed again for His Majesty Tuanku and a Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The first HRH Ruler to dive in a Perdana Class submarine is HRH Sultan Selangor Tuanku Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah with the KD Tun Razak, when it arrives from France in July 2010.
His Majesty Tuanku participated in an exercise involving KD Lekiu as the ‘enemy’ and the full capability of the Perdana Class submarine on operations in very deep waters.
Currently, His Majesty Tuanku is being transfered back to KD Lekiu where he would be flown to Kota Kinabalu International Airport by RMN helicopter. There on, he would fly back to TUDM Subang on the RMAF BBJ.
For Anwar, Nurul and the rest of Opposition Leaders who spread lies about the Perdana Class Scorpene submarines, it is time for them to apologise to Malaysians for misleading the nation with make belief facts. Otherwise, they should be charged for treason against His Majesty and the defense of the realm.

Waah, this YDP Agong really has his heart fully for the country. Not just words but deeds, too. Fantastic. He leads in patriotic feelings. He wants to instill the same in the rakyat. I admire him and support his intentions and actions fully.
The politicos should emulate him. Heed his words and follow his example. Not just think of votes. Can think of votes but within limits. Not seditious, not inflammatory, not shouting in Parliament until banned for months. Not climbing on tables and shouting like monkeys in the State Assembly Hall.
And not portray a bad image of the country’s defence capabilities. Including making money writing a book sensationalizing the country’s defence purchases. And launching it in a restaurant in Edgware Road, London, of all places. The same bloke writing a book on May 13 1969 trying to absolve his party of all blame. Damn such fellows.
Got that right mate. Damn them, damn them all to hell.
I like this YDP Agong because he is one above the rest. Apart from what he said in this article, he also invited Nik Aziz and Hadi Awang to dinner at Istana Trengganu where Najib, as well as Muhyiddin, were said to be also present.
Nobody knows what exactly were conversed but themselves. But it does give the impression that the Agong tried to get them together.
Nobody can say that the Agong was trying to be involved in politics because he certainly can invite any politician he wants to have dinner with. If anything political, it was his positive contribution towards getting opponents to the table – albeit the dinner table – and towards unity in the country.
No lasting unity can come about in the country without the majority of the population being united first.
Whether it will result in UMNO-PAS unity, let’s see. Nobody harvests the seeds they sow in just a few days.

Elok benarlah DYMM Tuanku mencemar duli meluang masa bersama-sama dengan perajurit negara sesuai dengan fungsi Baginda sebagai Pemerintah Tertinggi Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM).
Ia bukan sahaja dapat meningkatkan moral dan iltizam mereka untuk mempertahankan kepentingan dan kedaulatan negara, malah turut memberi peluang kepada para perajurit dan barisan kepimpinan ATM untuk merafak sembah menjunjung kasih melafazkan IKRAR TAAT SETIA YANG TIDAK BERBELAH BAGI KEPADA SERI PADUKA BAGINDA.
Kita faham dewasa ini ‘Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara’ merupakan satu komoditi yang semakin sukar ditemui. Setiap kali isu ini timbul/dipersoalkan, jawapan dari ‘golongan tertentu’ ini sentiasa sama ‘itu bukan satu-satunya cara untuk mengukur kesetiaan seseorang’/tak bermakna mereka tidak patriotik/mereka setia kepada negara dengan cara lain/kerana setia kepada negaralah kami buat demikian’ dan sebagainya.
Kesungguhan kerajaan untuk mempertahankan negara sering dipertikai dan diserang ‘left right and centre’. Tidak ada yang kena. Kalau ianya berasaskan fakta tak apa juga, ini tidak – bohong, membabi buta dan penuh putar belit. Malah ada yang sanggup menghina kemampuan benteng pertahanan negara di negara jiran yang tak sabar-sabar nak ganyang kita semata-mata untuk menagih sokongan. Sedar atau tidak ini adalah satu penghinaan besar kepada mereka yang gugur mempertahankan negara diera konfrontasi dahulu.
Soalnya, golongan inikah yang kita mahu amanahkan dengan pertahanan dan keselamatan negara?
