The decision last Monday that found its way to be the second highest profile criminal trial against homosexual intercourse practices in Malaysian history, is actually far reaching than meets the eye. It was not about the point of law per se. It was about making a stand on a principle and values that Malaysians at large finds is unacceptable, even though it is ‘consensual between two adults’.
As expected, Anwar “Mat King Leather” Ibrahim’s acquittal is closely followed by Amnesty International’s request for scrapping of the Malaysian anti-sodomy or more specifically, unnatural sexual intercourse act.

This is what the recently banned ‘Seksualiti Merdeka’ campaign is all about. This group of of-tangent minority is trying to challenge the Malaysian public at large with their interpretation of ‘educating, awareness of rights and promoting tolerance amongst Malaysians with un-natural ways to express their love and sexual tendencies’.

The ban, the protests against our activities and all attempts to prevent us from expressing ourselves are irrefutable evidence of the discrimination faced by LGBTIQ Malaysians. We are not surprised by those who disagreed with us. In fact, we support their freedom to disagree with us just as we support everyone’s freedom to disagree. But by demanding that we be shut down, they have shown that they don’t understand the meaning of equality and will compromise the very right they are exercising. Their overwhelming existence and the imbalance of power in their favour show why we needed such a space for education, understanding and empowerment.
Probably a group of minority and liberalised if not kinky or queer Malaysians are ready and for the matter of fact, waiting for this. Even though pure of curiosity and pure ‘experimenting’. But not the majority. We still adhere to the values of being South East Asians and the confines of religious boundaries. In fact, none of the religion practiced by Malaysians at large tolerate the practice of homosexualism.
Persons who are believed to be men but expressing themselves otherwise
These are part of the continuous efforts to systematically break the value system that gel Malaysians together. This ‘New World Order’ already lost on the democratic front. They are trying to provoke the tolerance of the majority towards this minority lots’ queer tendencies, as a test for them to be a ‘modern and civil society’. May we add, since 2007 the same bunch of people have been challenging the majority Malay-Muslims’ right to be apostates.
God help us, all.
The "thirteen million plus Ringgit" guy rambles.... 
The hegemony of the ultraliberals and their supporters is becoming apparent and bold because mainstream Malaysia is too scared to check its march forward. This group uses human rights and individual rights to make their cause become mainstream. In the past they keep within their enclaves and not pressure others to accept them. They forgot that the fact they are still thriving is that majority tolerated them. So, they should know that pressuring others to accept them as mainstream sub culture and a way of life is directly an infringement on the rights of the mainstream to remain mainstream. The case for Malaysia is bleak because Malaysians are too hung up about being seen to be liberal lest they are seen to be intolerant. So, technically the ultraliberals have made great inroads into the minds of Malaysians. It needs courage to put things in perspective and reject extremism both from the left and the right in terms of orientations and ideologies. There will come a time in Malaysia when one talks abt norms and morality one will be regarded as mad, extreme or old fadhion.
I propose that the term “liberal” be not applied. Even “ultra liberal”. Those fellows are simply wayward.
Just like the so-called liberal politicians. They are not liberal when they do not go by the Constitution of the country fully. No such thing as encouraging vernacular schools when Article 152 states BM as the language of this country.
What has been allowed since British colonial times is not necessarily right. There needs to be unity in this country. Even communist China uses Mandarin as the official language of the country for unity – to bring southern China, which habitually speaks their own languages, to use it. How can fellows here be allowed to have Mandarin as the language of instruction in schools when in southern China, where their ancestors come from, they demonstrated against the enforcement of the use of Mandarin in Canton, Hong Kong etc last year.
They are not liberals, Sir. They are simply wayward fellows.
Correction: should be ‘ old fashion’.
No, we should not just ask God to help us all. We hit at them. We tell them not disturb established social values, not to change what constitutes normal behaviour, not to introduce unacceptable “norms’.
Those who think they are biologically or medically inclined to such sexual abnormalities should see the doctor – the specialists, especially the psychiatrists. See what can be done and what treatment may be available.
Those who do so merely by inclination, by choice of variety in life, like Anwarul Al Juburi, must be stopped, taught a lesson, time after time, again and again. The Sodomy I Appeal Court judges have stated that, although they allowed the Appeal, they found that he did sodomize.
Then he got found out doing it again. Court case again – Sodomy II. He got away but an appeal must be filed. It’s unforgivable not to appeal.
