Police interviewed Rocky

Ampang Jaya Police officers came by and interviewed Datuk Ahirudin “Rocky” Attan this afternoon. It was about a Police report lodged on 4 Jan 2010, purportedly to investigate on the “Wikileaks: Malaysian senior politician and his maid”, posted 23 Dec 2010.

The Police officers were said to be “Very professional and polite”. A statement was taken. They wanted to know the source of the story.

It was also in relation to the Police report lodged in Jelebu by some PAS members alleging Minister of Information, Communications and Culture Dato’ Seri Utama Dr. Rais Yatim, Ph.D for a sexual related crime. PKR-Youth-Chief contender Badrul Hisham “Chegu Bard” Shaharin lodged another report alleging  Dr. Rais of the same crime the next day in Seremban.

Like in the “Santa Rais” (posted 9 October 2010) case when Dr Rais lodged a Police report against Rocky on 12 October 2010, we expect them to call BigDog next to facilitate the investigation. We shall give our fullest co-operation, as we had done before.

On 5 January 2011 Dr Rais vehemently denied the allegations. Then on 7 January 2011, an Indonesian news portal Detiknews.com published that Rubingah or Robengah denied the rape happened and decribed Dr Rais as “A very kind Boss”.

Now that Police is investigating the ‘messengers’, probably they should also also investigate the report from Migrant Care. They were the ones who purportedly lodged the report about “An Indonesian woman name Robengah was raped by Dato’ Seri Dr Rais Yatim”, then the Minister of Law, to the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. According a news report Vivanews, an officer by the name of ‘Tatang Razak’ received the report.
