Persatuan Pelajar Lepasan MRSM (ANSARA) akan menganjurkan Kempen Derma Darah Pra-Ramadhan sekali lagi tahun ini, bagi membantu Tabung Darah Negara sempena musim perayaan Aidil Fitri bermula hujung September ini.
Saban tahun, kerana pergerakan kenderaan dan pengunaan trafik semasa musim perayaan meningkat, maka keperluan darah juga meningkat. Memandangkan kurang dermawan darah dalam bulan Ramadhan kerana ibadah puasa, maka kempen ini diusahakan pra-Ramadhan bagi menentukan kekurangan bekalan semasa Ramadhan berjaya ditampung.
Kempen tahun lepas berjaya mengumpul lebih 2,200 pint darah dengan kerjasama Jaya Jusco, Utusan Malaysia dan NGO lain.
Walaupun kempen pra-Ramadhan ini berjaya, namun pertengahan bulan Ramadhan 1428H lepas, Tabung Darah Negara menghubungi wakil ANSARA untuk membantu menganjurkan kempen kecil, bagi menampung kekurangan darah. Oleh demikian, satu lagi kempen mengejut diusahakan pada 8 Oktober 2007 diperkarangan Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru.
Kempen lagi ini adalah lebih besar dan akan membabitkan lebih banyak NGO di 30 lokasi seluruh Negara.

I rarely make comments but the sight of so many xMRSM volunteering to do what is being planned has touched me tremendously. It fits in with the motto I have chosen for my voluntary school, Almanar, “Berkhidmat kerana Tuhan untuk kemanusiaan” I have all but respect for what MRSM have produced and what you are doing.
