Blogger Akramsyah on Astro Awani

My good friend, Akramsyah Muammar Ubaidah Sanusi, or more commonly known as A M Ubaidah S in the cybersphere with his politico-economic blog “Thoughts in Tangent”, came out of the closet last Saturday night and was featured on Suhami Sulaiman’s “Perspektif Kita” on Astro Awani (Astro Ch 501).

This morning, he was featured again in Dangsuria Zainuddin’s “WW”, on the same channel and specifically talked about blogging and how it affected domestic politics.

He elaborated on how he was pro-BN but there are changes needed to be made, so that the ruling party in more relevant to the rakyat. His blog was his medium to express his thoughts how things should be. Recently he dwelt deeply on the retail price of rice and not so long ago, cooking oil.

I was there, to give him moral support and the show went very well. Tonight, the 35 year old oil and gas engineer will speak at Sekretariat Melayu Muda do, along with Dato’ Mukhriz Mahathir at Wisma Sejarah.

This morning’s program will be aired again at 4.30pm this evening and 6.30am, tomorrow.
